With 20+ years of invaluable industry experience as an announcer, producer, writer, & booker; most notably in WWE’s Developmental Territories of OVW and一once under a WWE contract一in pre-NXT FCW, as assistant writer/junior booker to “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes. The relationships & reputation that Timmy has built over the years provide him the unique ability to respectfully navigate honest and personal conversations with his guests. This is a responsibility that the show’s host does not take lightly; as Timmy himself harbors a heart-wrenching story that gave way to an adverse existence.     Big Boss Man Was My Childhood Hero | Dark Side of the Ring

    The Big Boss Man was my favorite wrestler growing up. I never met him—but I once asked the Ultimate Warrior, moments after defeating The Undertaker in a Body Bag Match, to deliver a handwritten letter to Boss Man in Cobb County, Georgia. Following Dark Side of the Ring’s emotional episode about Ray Traylor, I’m revisiting my childhood obsession with the Big Boss Man: the homemade Halloween costume, the action figures I refused to sell, the WWF house-show loss that ruined my ride home and the extraordinary talent behind the badge. Ray Traylor never became world champion. He never needed to. Whether he was terrorizing Hulk Hogan, defending law and order or becoming one of the Attitude Era’s most depraved villains, Boss Man made everything professional wrestling asked of him feel believable.     Las Tóxicas Rule! | AAA Noche de los Grandes II Review

    AAA Noche de los Grandes II gave us a lower-key week after last week’s emotional mask-vs-mask masterpiece — and honestly, we probably needed it. But low-key does not mean meaningless. This week I break down the men’s cruiserweight contender 5-way, why too much motion without consequence kills a match, why the audience can’t watch two things at once, and why pretty moves mean nothing if nobody is actually trying to win. Then we get to the real MVPs of the night: Las Tóxicas. Flammer, Lady Maravilla, and La Hiedra understood the assignment. They cheated, they cut off the ring, they created heat, they made the babyfaces, and they gave La Catalina a real path toward Flammer’s Reina de Reinas Championship.
