    Therapeutics for Endometriosis, Endometriosis A to Z Episode 3, Guest Dr. Larry Glazerman, GYN_MIGS

    Dr. Noar and Carolyn speak with Dr. Larry Glazerman on the importance of individualized treatment plans and multimodal therapy for effective endometriosis treatment. They also talk about the variability of endo symptoms and the different medications available for their treatment (as well as how these medications work). About Dr. Glazerman: Larry R. Glazerman completed medical degree at Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown, PA. In May 2010 he received an MBA in Healthcare Administration from DeSales University, in Center Valley, PA. He is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and also certified in laparoscopy and hysteroscopy by the Accreditation Council for Gynecologic Endoscopy. His special expertise and interests are minimally invasive gynecologic surgery as well as family planning. After 28 years of Ob-Gyn practice, from 2008 – 2012, he was faculty at the USF Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa, and was director of an AAGL sponsored Minimally Invasive GYN Surgery Fellowship at USF. He subsequently served as medical director at Planned Parenthood of Delaware, as well as Medical Director, Utilization Management at Highmark Inc, in Wilmington DE. He is clinical associate professor of Ob-Gyn at his alma mater, Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. He is a member of numerous professional societies, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and AAGL. From 2021 – 2024 he was in Medical Affairs at Sumnitomo Pharma America (formerly Myovant Sciences). He is currently on the Scientific Advisory Board of the Endometriosis Foundation of America He has been married to his wife, Joan, for 29 years. They have three children and four grandchildren.
