I like this pickleball podcast because they review paddles nobody else does. They put an emphasis on value also. Always great information.

I’m new to pickle ball and I’ve been listening to a lot of your episodes and have learned so much between all the tips and tricks to mainly which products to purchase it’s n eye opener on how big this sport is becoming . Getting honest reviews about products really has helped me understand more and more about the game each time I listen. Who knew there’s soo much that goes into a pickle ball paddle , my $35 Amazon one does not compare to the pakle blade x 13/16 ones. I think you have a great job reviewing products and it truly has helped me learn and understand the game more. Thank you !

I have been following Matthew K for a while now. He influenced two of my paddle purchases, the Honolulu J2 K and the Kiwi Labs Circuit. One of the things I like most about his podcast is his focus on the smaller less known companies like Pakle. In most cases, I would rather support the small guy, than the big corporate company and he has shown me who these companies are. My title says headed in the right direction because I’m glad Matthew is now reviewing and considering some of the power paddles and I enjoy having another perspective like Wilson’s. I also enjoy the tips on playing better Pickleball. My encouragement to you would be to be a bit more confident and to try not to ramble. Sorry that sounds harsh but a common critique I have of some of the pickleball You Tubers is the length of the videos because they can over explain. Say it with confidence and in control while being concise and connecting with your audience. Maybe that makes sense. Keep in mind I am the type of person that prefers it when people get to the point and don’t over explain, but I realize not everyone is like me. Keep up the good work guys! For your Pakle giveaway I would like to try the Evolution Gen 3 paddle or the Silence paddle but it looks to be out of stock. I would love to try an all foam paddle if they have one as long as it’s all court leaning power not a control paddle - sorry Matthew! 🙂

Very much enjoy Matthew’s take on his paddle reviews — What I specifically like about Matt is that he shares his experiences from other paddles and explains why he likes something more than something else in a subjective way. I also appreciate how he isn’t a power hungry paddle chaser either and he very much appreciates the soft game. Plus he has great YT videos on portable nets!
