    Different Kind of Hickeys

    Gunter completely forgets what they were supposed to be talking about, but Marshall quickly reminds her: he needs to understand what a contrast therapy studio is. Gunter does her best to explain it, but Marshall remains unconvinced, insisting the whole thing contradicts everything he learned in gym class. From there, they wander into celebrity mismatches, ASMR (which Marshall still can't pronounce correctly), and an unexpected discussion about high school valedictorians and salutatorians. Marshall proudly shares that he graduated fifth in his class—while blaming band for keeping him from the top. Gunter gets a good laugh when Marshall admits he earned a B in Oral Communications, and laughs even harder when he reveals his teachers thought his writing wasn't concise enough. The episode wraps up with Marshall recounting his disastrous trip home from Pittsburgh, proving that even traveling can become a rant. From hot-and-cold therapy to class rankings and travel disasters, this episode goes exactly where you'd expect—which is absolutely nowhere you saw coming.

    The House Hoe

    A routine Walmart trip goes spectacularly off the rails after Marshall and Gunter discover a Dove × Crumbl Cookie deodorant collaboration. Somehow that leads to a discussion about armpit licking, a memorable story from 90 Day Fiancé, and the question no one expected Marshall to ask: Do we have to accept everyone's kink, as long as nobody gets hurt? From there, they tackle today's celebrity heartthrobs, revisit Marshall's college days and the unforgettable story behind "The House Ho," and uncover why his college house was selected in the first place. Gunter also puts Marshall and his roommates on blast over their less-than-classy entertainment habits, while Marshall shares the tale of one roommate's particularly memorable girlfriend. It's deodorant, dating, dorm-room stories, and just enough questionable life decisions to make you glad you weren't there. Or maybe wish you had been.

    Off Like A Prom Dress

    Gunter brings in reinforcements—an organizer spends five and a half hours helping tackle their house, leaving both her and Marshall completely exhausted. But that doesn’t stop Marshall from diving headfirst into a box of his old stuff and taking a full trip down memory lane. We learn about Marshall’s high school letter jacket (and why none of the patches ever made it on), the time he wore tights and a smock for a school event (Gunter cannot recover from this), and his days in the gifted program—which includes the legendary story of him throwing his leaf collection on the ground. Marshall also shares what “making out” was called back in his day, questions whether Gunter is talking to him or her phone thanks to constant voice-to-text, and absolutely loses it over what kids wear while eating on prom night. In Marshall’s world, there are standards. As usual, even a simple drive turns into content—this time featuring a “crotch rocket” with oddly placed pegs that leads to jokes that probably shouldn’t be made. It’s nostalgia, judgment, and just enough chaos to make you question everything.

    The Great Disappointment

    Marshall promises a serious episode, which should immediately make you nervous. He’s been spending a lot of time in the car listening to XM radio while visiting Gunter during her ankle recovery—but don’t worry, it still turns into complaints about Gunter’s Porsche. Gunter suggests he just make his own playlist. Marshall does not accept this solution. He takes issue with Joan Osborne’s “What If God Was One of Us”—not for the theology, but for the grammar. Of course. That launches him into bigger questions: why do good things happen to bad people, and what does that say about the world? Marshall also claims Gunter is singlehandedly keeping the United States Postal Service in business with her shopping habits. From there, things get philosophical—afterlife theories, Marshall’s past habit of polling people for knowledge (and likely being disappointed), and his belief that society doesn’t quite work the way it should. He brings in Star Trek to explain his thinking—“the good of the many outweighs the needs of the few”—while Gunter counters that he’s just becoming a grouchy old man. Marshall proposes Mediterraneanism as a lifestyle philosophy, and somehow they end up discussing livestock smells and the sacred trust theory. It’s deep thoughts, grammar complaints, and existential detours—Northern Aggression trying to be serious… sort of.

    Two Marys One Chalice

    Gunter actually comes prepared with topics from their running list—an unusual but welcome development. They kick things off reminiscing about monster truck commercials and the legendary Gravedigger, which somehow leads to a discussion about reversing sounds and why a sonar-style backup noise would be way cooler. Marshall shares a recent flight encounter with someone in Chick-fil-A government relations—a job he cannot believe exists. That opens the door to his ongoing hobby of spotting political figures in the D.C. airport. Gunter points out that Marshall is very observant, though his observations are… selective. In a confusing turn, Marshall claims he’s never really seen cows or horses just casually walking around, which raises more questions than answers. They also recount the time they were run off from Arlington Park, because of course that happened. And to round things out, Gunter apparently can’t remember their anniversary. It’s monster trucks, political sightings, and questionable memory—business as usual.

    Bonus Episode: Fornagatory

    Marshall confidently declares this the ASMR episode, immediately causing Gunter to worry. From there, they recount their latest adventures in Turkey Creek, where Marshall uncovers a story Gunter somehow missed—and she wastes no time making fun of his detective skills. Marshall also shares the time he accidentally offended a girl he liked by commenting on her new haircut, leaving Gunter genuinely amazed that he ever managed to have a girlfriend. The people-watching continues during a trip to Chipotle, where Marshall questions modern fashion choices, including sweaters that don't actually cover anything and his ongoing confusion over sleeveless attire at work. That naturally evolves into a discussion about sexual harassment and the "reasonable person" standard. Things don't get any less bizarre when Marshall spots someone in Walmart with their bra showing and passionately defends the revolutionary idea that underwear belongs on the inside. The episode wraps up with a Jeopardy! clue exposing one of Marshall's few blind spots: hip-hop. Turns out, there's at least one category where the walking encyclopedia comes up short. Fashion, food, faux pas, and failed music trivia—just another "relaxing" episode of Northern Aggression.

    Bonus Episode: Pinkies and Holes

    A simple text message goes spectacularly wrong when Gunter relies on speech-to-text, producing results that leave Marshall far more entertained than she intended. What should have been a routine conversation turns into comedy gold, and Marshall is determined to make sure everyone hears about it. From there, the conversation takes several completely unnecessary detours. The pair brainstorm bizarre TikTok Live ideas centered around paint colors and their increasingly ridiculous names. Marshall then decides it's the perfect time to explain fractals, seemingly under the impression that everyone else already knows what they are. Gunter's eyes glaze over almost immediately. Things really go off the rails when the letter L becomes the topic of conversation. Marshall takes it as a personal challenge to use every L word he can think of, much to Gunter's growing annoyance. Dinner doesn't provide any relief. The restaurant has the Girls Little League Softball World Series on TV, and Marshall can't stop critiquing what he sees as a complete lack of baseball fundamentals. Gunter also catches heat for her daily beverage of choice, proving that nothing she eats or drinks is safe from Marshall's commentary. If there's one lesson to take away from this episode, it's Gunter's advice: never go out to eat with Marshall if there's a television nearby. He'll spend more time analyzing what's on the screen than enjoying his meal. It's speech-to-text disasters, mathematical rabbit holes, softball critiques, and one very patient co-host trying to survive another dinner with Marshall.

    Bonus Episode: Northern Zero

    Marshall and Gunter kick off the episode with a stop at Chick-fil-A during their trip through northern Illinois, where they discover the experience is surprisingly different from what they're used to in the South. That observation sends Gunter down a dangerous path when she asks Marshall why religion seems so different between the North and the South. She quickly realizes she may have opened a can of worms. Marshall then unveils what may be his worst contribution to society: his nickname for Chick-fil-A's Chicken Minis sauce, "Sticky Sweet Num Num Sauce." Gunter immediately mocks him for it, and rightfully so. On the drive home, they stop at Gunter's favorite Mexican restaurant, Garcia's in Frankfort, Kentucky. Instead of enjoying a peaceful meal, Marshall becomes completely engrossed in the conversation at the table behind them. A group confidently discussing the geography of Ohio gets nearly everything wrong, sending Marshall into full rant mode. Even Gunter, who usually gives people the benefit of the doubt, can't understand how anyone could be that bad at geography. The same table also features a man announcing he doesn't want a margarita... but is somehow still tempted, which only adds to the confusion. As if geography wasn't enough to ruin his day, Marshall has more thoughts to share about Buc-ee's, proving once again that no business is safe from his unsolicited opinions. It's Chicken Minis, questionable geography, religious discussions, and Buc-ee's complaints—all held together by an unhealthy amount of Sticky Sweet Num Num Sauce.
