    Episode 74: Two Generations, One Questionable TV Show.

    Send us Fan Mail Kota is back after nearly two weeks away, and this week on Current Chatter, he and Losa have A LOT to talk about. The two dive into Netflix’s Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story and break down what worked, what absolutely did not, and just how much the series seemed to stretch the Lizzie Borden story to fill eight episodes. From questionable character portrayals and invented storylines to the very strange decision to bring Eileen Wuornos into the mix, Kota and Losa have plenty of questions—and very few good answers. They also talk about the actors who actually nailed their roles, some historical inconsistencies they noticed, and whether Eileen Wuornos deserved to be the focus of her own story instead of being worked into Lizzie Borden’s. Then things take a darker turn as they discuss a developing Colorado case involving allegations of altered sexual-assault case reports, before switching gears to football, this week’s wins and losses, and the upcoming games. And because this is Current Chatter, the conversation eventually goes completely off the rails when Kota reveals that he apparently knows WAY too much about pigs, serial killers, and disposing of bodies.
