The Indy Eleven Coaches Show returns for 2026! Head Coach Sean McAuley joins Grant Shoulders to talk about everything Indy Eleven throughout the upcoming season.

    Soccer Saturday - 8/15/2026

    Segment 1 (0:00-4:46) Greg Rakestraw opens the show by recapping last Sundays Match which was 1-1 draw with Hartford. He also previews tonight's match at Jacksonville.  He previews who and what is ahead on this week's edition of Soccer Saturday.   Segment 2 (7:46-17:38) During this segment, the Head Coach of the Indy Eleven Sean McAuley joins the show for this weekly segment.  He recaps the draw last week vs Hartford and looks ahead to tonight's match in Jacksonville.  He also talks about how all the rain and storms this week has affected training to prepare for the match. He talks about the day in the life on the road between this conversation and kickoff later tonight. Greg talks about the up-to-date USL standings and schedule going into this weekend.  Segment 3 (20:38-30:14) In this segment, the goal scorer from last week Edward Kizza joined the show via last week's postgame show to talk about what he saw in the run to make a play. Indy Eleven Goalie Eric Dick joined the show from last week's postgame show to recap the match and the draw producing save to secure a point.  Segment 4 (33:14-41:58) For this segment, The Head Marian's Women's Soccer Coach Justin Sullivan joins the show to preview their upcoming season as it gets underway next week. He talks about his roster and replacing those who graduated last year. Coach talks about his thoughts on the depth going into the season and how it will be a strength going into the season. He previews who he thinks are the biggest threats to winning the Conference Championship in the Crossroads League this season.  Segment 5 (44:58-) To close the show for this week, Greg talks Premier League Soccer that begins next weekend with the opening week schedule. Greg also talks about the MLS and the Leagues Cup against Mexican teams. He closes the show by talking about the USL in season Prince Tires Cup and the upcoming semifinal matches.

    Soccer Saturday - 8/8/26

    Segment 1 (0:00-4:00) Greg Rakestraw opens the show by previewing tomorrow's home match vs Hartford Athletic and the promotion for the match. He also talks about who and what is ahead on the program this morning as well as Sean McAuley's 100th match this weekend.  Segment 2 (7:00-18:41) During this segment, the Head Coach of the Indy Eleven Sean McAuley joins the show for this weekly segment.  Coach talks about what he saw in the 3-1 loss after reviewing the tapes and what can be adjusted going forward. They talk about players returning to the team either from injury or from loan as is the case for Dylan Sing. Sean and Greg preview the upcoming home match Sunday afternoon against Hartford. They talk about the milestone match for Coach McAuley on Sunday, marking his 100th match on the touchline for Indy Eleven which surpasses the longest tenured coach in Indy Eleven history.  Segment 3 (21:41-29:33) In this segment, Greg talks with Dylan Sing who returns to the program after being out on loan in Portland. He talks about his brief tenure in Portland and what it was like playing for the fans out there.  He talks about being back with Indy Eleven and being ready to play on Sunday in his return. He talks about the differences in each league in the American soccer pyramid. IND Segment 4 (32:33-45:32) For this segment, Dan Patrick show member and Hartford Season Ticket holder Seton O'Connor joins the show to help preview the upcoming match tomorrow. He talks about his role with the Dan Patrick show and other projects that he is working on.  He talks about his World Cup experience and the matches he attended and covered this summer. They talk about his son and that he could potentially play for their hometown team in Hartford.  Segment 5 (48:32-56:44) To close the show for this week, Greg talks about US Men's National Team news including the re-signing of their manager Mauricio Pochettino for another World Cup cycle thru 2030. He also talks about the upcoming Friendlies schedule for Team USA and who and where those matches will be played.

    Soccer Saturday - August 1, 2026

    Segment 1 (0:00-3:16) Greg Rakestraw opens the show by recapping the 3-1 loss to San Antonio on Friday night.  He talks about the lone bright spot with the Josh O Brien goal in stoppage time.  He looks ahead to next week's home match against Hartford. He previews who and what is coming up on the show.   Segment 2 (6:16-16:10) During this segment, the Head Coach of the Indy Eleven Sean McAuley joins the show for this weekly segment.  They talk minutes after the Friday Night loss to San Antonio as they recap the 3-1 defeat.  They discuss some personnel changes in the lineup and the decision making behind it. They discuss the training this next week with an extra couple of days between matches. Greg previews the weekend of USL Soccer and where Indy Eleven stands in the table.  Segment 3 (19:10-30:24) In this segment, The new Head Soccer Coach for the IU Indianapolis Jaguars Keagan Boom joins the show and talks about going from Assistant to Head Coach for IU Indy.  He talks about how he ended up moving to the United States from the Netherlands. He talks about not pursuing playing College Soccer and to jump right into coaching upon graduation from Carmel High School. They preview the upcoming season and the roster that IU Indy will showcase.  Segment 4 (33:24-50:39) For this segment, the Voice of the Los Angeles FC Dave Denholm joins the show to talk MLS Soccer. They talk about the upcoming schedule change for the MLS beginning in 2027.  The season will begin in the fall and end in the spring beginning in 2027. It will help get on the same transfer windows as the teams overseas. They talk about the MLS All Star game and if he sees it continuing past, the schedule change. They talk about LAFC and where they stand and look ahead at their match this weekend.  Segment 5 (53:39-57:00) To close the show for this week, Greg talks about the next match for the Indy Eleven next Sunday against Hartford and 317 night. He talks about FIFA's plan to sell to private equity and how that plan was foiled.

    Soccer Saturday July 25, 2026

    Segment 1 (0:00-2:59) The Indy Eleven are home tonight and kick off tonight at 7pm against Lauden United FC. Host Greg Rakestraw introduces the Indy Eleven 50/50 raffle, where fans have the chance to win prizes while also benefiting a charitable cause!  Segment (5:59-16:23) As always, Greg is joined by Indy Eleven Head Coach Sean McAuley. They discuss the loss 0-2 loss last week against Detroit City FC. Sean also explains what it was like balancing a match while dealing with the Canada wildfires that affected Midwest air quality. Anthony Herbert and Paco Craig were silver linings, as they returned to the squad. They preview tonight's matchup, and the standings around the USL Championship.  Segment 3 (19:23-28:38) Greg Rakestraw is joined by CB Anthony Herbert, and they discuss Anthony's return against Detroit City FC and how it felt getting back on the pitch. Anthony also talks about his time on the Trinadad and Tobago National Team. Anthony mentions how he likes Indiana, and how it compares to other places he's played throughout his career.  Segment 4 (31:38-43:36) John Morissey of USL Tactics joins and gives his take on what it was like to have a World Cup take place in his home country. They talk about the USL Championship as a whole, and how the Tampa Bay Rowdies got to the top of the table in the Eastern Conference.  Segment 5 (46:36-56:03) Greg Rakestraw closes out the show by discussing soccer as a whole, with the MLS All-Star game taking place soon and their involvement in the Leagues Cup. He recaps the World Cup Final, and the USMNT's role in the CONCACAF match calendar.

    Segment 1 (0:00-4:15) Host Greg Rakestraw opens the show by briefly discussing what took place in the World Cup this week and Indy Eleven’s win last week. It’s an off day for the Indy Eleven Saturday before two matches next week as the Prinx Tires Cup continues.   Segment (7:15-20:43) Head coach of the Indy Eleven, Sean McAuley, makes his weekly appearance to discuss the team’s victory last week as well as how he’s approaching the next two games vs. Miami and Detroit. Greg runs through the standings in the Prinx Tires Cup and the USL Championship.   Segment 3 (20:43-35:28) Greg runs through the ticket package for the Indy Eleven and encourages people to come out for their next home game. Then, we hear Josh O’Brien’s postgame comments after the Indy Eleven’s win last week against Charleston. He broke down how the team battled the heat conditions and got the win. Then, we hear from Makel Rasheed on the defensive effort to get the clean sheet.   Segment 4 (38:28-51:12) Greg offers his thoughts on the US Men’s National Team’s World Cup performance and what it was like to hold the watch party on Monument Circle. Greg put out a question on his Facebook, asking fans to give their feelings on what their World Cup experience has been like.   Segment 5 (54:12-56:36) Greg wraps up the show by previewing the World Cup matches taking place today and the upcoming Indy Eleven schedule. Who has the edge in England vs. Norway? Can Argentina escape once again?

    Soccer Saturday - July 4, 2026

    Segment 1 (0:00-4:33) Greg Rakestraw opens the show by previewing who and what is ahead on this week's Soccer Saturday.  He talks about what has been happening in the World Cup as the round of 16 begins.  He also previews the upcoming home match today against Charleston Battery.  Segment 2 (7:33-19:35) During this segment, the Head Coach of the Indy Eleven Sean McAuley joins the show for this weekly segment.  He talks about the break in USL play and what he was able to do during the bye week. They recap the win against Lexington and look ahead to the first home match in a month against Charleston. Coach gives the latest injury update and who is good to go and who is not ready to play. They talk about the heat and humidity ahead of today's match and how they prepare players for the heat.  Segment 3 (22:35-32:01) In this segment, Indy Eleven Goalie Reice Charles Cook talks about starting in Lexington in the League Cup Match and having to be involved in the penalty kick shootout. He talks about what he was able to do during the week off and if he thought about attending any World Cup matches.  He talks about being from England and what its been like watching the World Cup in North America.  Segment 4 (35:01-52:28) For this segment, The Voice of the USL Mike Watts joins the show to talk about calling the Worlds Feed play by play of the matches in Kansas City.  He talks about what it meant to be able to be a part of and call one of the biggest sporting events in the world. He talks about the moments that stood out of the matches in Kansas City especially Algeria-Austria and how history may have played a role in that match. He talks about Team USA and how they stand going into the match against Belgium in the round of 16.  Segment 5 (55:28-56:51) To close the show for this week, Greg previews the round of 16 schedule for the World Cup.

    Soccer Saturday - June 27, 2026

    Segment 1 (0:00-7:53) Greg Rakestraw opens the show by talking about the latest in the FIFA World Cup.  Team USA were winners of their group despite losing to Turkey and preparing to play Bosnia in the knockout round. He Previews what is coming up on the show and recapping the latest matches for the Indy Eleven Men and Women. The Indy Eleven Women's season came to an end this last week after not winning their division.  Segment 2 (10:53-22:05) During this segment, the Head Coach of the Indy Eleven Womens Team Brandon Kim joins the show to recap the Women's Season as it came to a close last week after having a great season but did not win the division for the playoff bid.  He talks about how he put together his roster and got his key pieces to a very successful season.  Segment 3 (25:05-38:03) In this segment, Former Westfield Shamrock Eriq Zavaleta joins the show to talk about his decision to retire from professional soccer as a player. He talks about what could be next for him in his working life and the importance of staying involved in sports. He talks about how cool to have the World Cup in the United States and matches being played in his backyard Los Angeles. He talks about his experience playing for the El Salvadore National Team.  Segment 4 (41:03-51:19) For this segment, Former Indy Eleven Social Media and Content Creator Trey Higdon, joins the show to talk about what it has been like working for FIFA this summer in the same role and covering the World Cup. He talks about his official duties this summer for FIFA at the World Cup working at the International Broadcast Center in Dallas. He talks about his normal work day and what all he does during this World Cup.   Segment 5 (54:19-56:54) To close the show for this week, Greg talks all World Cup including the USA Path in the knockout rounds, latest bracket and which 3rd place teams could qualify to advance in the tournament and previews the final day of group play.
