Almost 30, Mildly Spiraling, Still Employed (Part 1)

New year, new me, new episode, same anxiety. It’s been a while but surprise, I’m alive and podcasting again✨. I’m back with one of my good friends Latrice, who basically turned into my unpaid career coach in this episode. We talk about my fear of turning 30, corporate life, modeling, facing rejection, making art, and trying to figure out where I’m actually going next. We had a longgg conversation so this is part 1, and I didn't have time to do a through editing job, sooo its raw haha. If you’re also navigating career confusion, creative dreams, or just need company while spiraling, press play. At least we’re confused together 💫

Have you gotten scammed before? I certainly have...

Sorry, everyone! I missed last week because I got bronchitis… but I’m feeling much better now! Still coughing a bit, though—so if my voice cracks here and there, just pretend you didn’t hear it, okay? 😅 This episode is kind of a filler, but it’s fueled by pure rage (don’t worry, I tried to make it fun). We’ve all had our fair share of scammer encounters, but apparently, I’m just extra unlucky. Give it a listen and let me know what you think! And if you have your own scammer horror story, spill the tea—I might just turn this into a series! Who knows?

2 Designers Laughing Through The Depressing Job Market

The job market... yeah, we know. What can I say besides the fact that it’s depressing AF right now? But! We are two strong-hearted designers—well, at least one of us is (and we both know that’s not me...). In today’s episode, we welcome our first guest: my friend Monica! She’s an excellent motion/graphic designer currently searching for a job that will sponsor her. We talked about our experiences in job hunting, the state of the market, things we’ve found helpful, and how to stay sane through it all. Believe it or not, this episode isn’t as depressing as you’d think! And I mean it! If you are currently trying to find a job, give it a listen and it might lift your spirit a little bit! And let me know your job hunting experience at evexu31@gmail.com

    Episode 0: Prelude

My first episode! Woohoo! This is going to be first of many (hopefully). In this episode, I talk about why I want to start this and what you can expect from my channel. I feel like if I put more stuff here its going to pretty much cover this episodes, since it is only 8 min long! So give it a listen (or not), up to you, since this one is really just setting the stage. But stay tuned! And join me on this journey!
