Hear God Through Journalling with Michelle Moragne-Morris

Send us Fan Mail A blank page can be more powerful than a loud mind. We sit down with Michelle Moragne-Morris for a real, grounded chat about Christian journalling as a practical way to hear God’s voice, especially when life feels messy, emotional, or uncertain. Michelle shares what happened when she launched a journalling challenge and why so many people are hungry for a simple method that moves beyond a “journal dump” and into clarity, comfort, and direction. We talk through what prophetic journalling can look like day to day: writing fast enough to stay in flow, learning what God’s voice sounds like (often a thought, not an audible voice), and learning what the enemy’s voice sounds like so we don’t partner with shame or condemnation. We also unpack why dating your journals and recording dreams matters, because God often speaks early and fulfils later, and those written words can become timely guidance you can actually point back to. Parenting comes into the mix too, especially the tension of wanting our kids to believe while also letting them explore, ask honest questions, and build their own relationship with God. From people pleasing and identity in Christ to addiction, grace, and the fear that drives control, we keep it practical and honest, with takeaways you can use straight away. Perfect Peace, Not Perfect Circumstances

Send us Fan Mail Your brain can turn one stray thought into a “truth” that runs your whole life. If you’ve ever woken up already feeling behind, rushed through the day, then collapsed at night thinking “see, I knew I couldn’t keep up”, we’re pulling that pattern apart with a simple framework that makes the invisible visible. We start with Isaiah 26:3 and the word “steadfast” and why perfect peace is not the same thing as perfect circumstances. Then we dig into mental clutter and the kind that doesn’t show up on a to-do list: the thoughts you repeat, the comparison you carry, and the quiet beliefs like “I have to hold it all together” or “I’ll rest when I’m finished”. I share the cycle I teach in Mental Declutter, how thoughts shape beliefs, beliefs drive actions, actions become habits, and habits shape life, which then feeds right back into your thoughts. We also connect this to Romans 12:2 and the renewing of your mind, because lasting change rarely starts with another routine, planner, or burst of willpower. If you’re a woman juggling mental load, organisation, faith, and real life, this will help you find the deeper lever that leads to peace before productivity. If you want to go deeper, you’re invited to join the She’s Organised Hub community. Subscribe, share this with a friend who feels stretched thin, and leave a review so more women can find support. From Comparison to Confidence with Alana Hergert

Send us Fan Mail A viral moment, a deleted TikTok account, and a pageant rooted in the Book of Esther all lead to the same question: who are we becoming while we chase “success”? I’m joined by Alana Hergert, a woman of faith, speaker, business owner, and Miss West Missouri, whose story holds both pain and redemption. We talk candidly about insecurity, healing, and the kind of confidence that comes from inner refinement rather than outside approval. We get practical about modern pressure points: beauty culture that swings between vanity and shame, motherhood expectations that turn life into a race, and social media habits that promise “community” while quietly feeding loneliness. Alana shares a surprisingly powerful lesson sparked by something as small as a nail colour, and we explore how grace, compromise, and character can shape the way we show up in everyday moments. If you’re navigating comparison, burnout, or an identity crisis, you’ll hear language for what’s happening and a calmer way forward. We also dig into purpose-led work, including Alana’s heart for Lavinity Publishing and helping testimony-driven stories get onto the page. Along the way we talk about seasons, capacity, and why measuring success only by money, likes, or visibility can pull you off course. The goal isn’t to do everything, it’s to do what God actually asked of you and let Him handle the results. Find Alana on Facebook at alanaHergert21 or Instagram @alana_got_jesus Subscribe so you don’t miss what’s next, share this with a friend who feels stretched thin, and leave a review with your biggest takeaway. Drop The Super Mum Mask with Carrie Newport

Send us Fan Mail You can be doing all the right things and still feel like you’re disappearing. That’s why this chat with Carrie Newport hits so hard: it’s honest, practical, and full of hope for any mum who’s been stuck in survival mode for years and quietly calling it “normal”. Carrie is a single mum of three, an author, and a certified life coach, and she shares how she stopped just functioning and started truly living again.  We talk about the pressure to wear the Super Mum mask, how fear of judgement keeps women isolated, and why finding community as a mum of teens or adult kids can be just as important as those early years. Carrie opens up about writing her book from decades of journalling through grief, divorce, and deep challenges, and we get real about the hidden cost of creative work and purpose-led business: the learning curve, the stretch, and the need to keep going when the “shift” hasn’t happened yet.  Carrie also shares the coaching tools she leans on most, including her seasons framework for healing, and a tiny habit that’s perfect for overwhelmed mums: five minutes to write three sentences, no polishing required. We weave into parenting neurodivergent kids, autism advocacy, and why life skills, love, and a fair go can matter more than grades. If you’ve been asking, “Where did I go?” or “Is it too late to find myself?”, this one will meet you right where you are.  Follow Carrie on Instagram @cariemarie38 or on Facebook Carrie Newport Subscribe, share this with a mum who needs it, and leave a review so more women can find the support they’ve been missing. Peace Before Productivity

Send us Fan Mail Peace can feel like the thing we’ll finally get once the house is sorted, the kids are settled, and our schedule stops yelling at us. I’ve been there, and I’ve learnt the hard way that there’s always another “once”. The surprising shift that’s changed my life (and the heart of She’s Organised) is this: peace isn’t the reward for getting organised, it’s the foundation we build from. I unpack why I stopped talking mainly about time management and started talking about time stewardship and financial stewardship. Management assumes I own it and I must control it; stewardship reminds me everything already belongs to God and has been entrusted to me for this season. That single change reframes the mental load, the pressure to prove ourselves, and the quiet guilt we can feel when we rest, even when we love Jesus deeply. We also sit with John 14 and John 15, because biblical peace and spiritual fruit don’t come from striving harder. Jesus invites us to remain, to abide, to receive first and then respond. From that place, we can create real margin, guard our attention in a noisy world, and take practical steps like giving God our first attention, even in the chaos of parenting and work. If you’ve been craving calm that doesn’t depend on perfect circumstances, press play, then share this with a friend who needs it. A Life Transition Game Plan with Toni Thrash

Send us Fan Mail Life can flip in a moment, and the hardest part is realising you’re still here while everything familiar has changed. We’re joined by certified life coach and author Toni Thrash, who shares the raw reality of walking through divorce after 25 years of marriage and becoming an empty nester at the same time. We talk about the grief, the loneliness, and the internal doubts that can hit women in midlife, especially when faith and identity feel shaken.  Toni brings a powerful coaching perspective shaped by years on the basketball court, turning life transitions into a clear, usable framework. We unpack her three stages of change: shock (the foggy, can’t-think-straight season), limbo (being “on the bench” and not sure what’s next), and re-entry (stepping back into purpose with intention). Along the way we get practical about journalling, noticing the thoughts that aren’t true, and finding the trusted people who can hold you up when you feel stuck.  We also go straight at two of the biggest blockers for women: doubt and fear. Toni explains how doubt can actually build resilience over time, while fear needs to be treated like an opponent you refuse to let win. Her story of planning a 20 day solo camping trip with no phone service is a reminder that courage often looks like doing the thing while your whole body is shouting “don’t”.  If you’re navigating divorce recovery, an empty nest, retirement, a job change, or any season where you feel benched by life, this one will give you language, hope, and a next step.  Follow Toni on Instagram @tonithrash Subscribe for more conversations like this, share it with a friend who needs a comeback, and leave a review so more women can find the support they’ve been missing. Choosing Joy In The Empty Nest with Suzy Mighell

Send us Fan Mail Quiet can feel like loss until you realise it’s also space. Mel sits down again with Suzy Mighell, author of Empty Nest Blessed, for a warm follow-up chat about what really changes when kids grow up and the house gets still. We talk honestly about the emotional whiplash of parenting through seasons and why it’s normal to feel two things at once: grief and gratitude, fear and courage, missing the noise and loving the calm.  We dig into what Suzy calls the sandwich generation, when you’re supporting adult children (and sometimes grandkids) while also watching your own parents age and need more care. That role reversal can be heavy, but it can also clarify what matters, helping you make more intentional choices with time, relationships, and faith. If you’ve been craving practical empty nest encouragement, you’ll hear simple ways to reframe the quiet as a gift that supports deeper thinking, stronger boundaries, and more purposeful living.  We also get practical about parenting adult kids well. Suzy names the biggest mistake many of us make: giving advice without being asked. We unpack the shift from coach to cheerleader, manager to mentor, and leader to listener, plus how to encourage adult kids (and daughters-in-law) without stepping on toes. If your child keeps you out of the loop, Suzy shares “little touches” that build connection without pressure and a communication cheat code when you don’t know what to say: reflect their feelings and stay present.  Follow Suzy at emptynestblessed.com and @EmptyNestBlessed, then subscribe, share this with a friend who needs it, and leave a quick review to help more parents find the show. Why More Money Won't Solve Financial Stress

Send us Fan Mail EOFY can make money feel like a never-ending scoreboard: tax returns, deductions, budgets, and loud advice online about how to get ahead. We wanted to slow that noise down and ask a better question: what if financial peace has less to do with how much we earn, and more to do with how we steward what we already have? We share three biblically backed shifts that have reshaped how we think about money and stress. First, stewardship starts with what is already in your hands, not someone else’s income. Then we talk about money as a tool, not a master, and the subtle ways fear can move money into the driver’s seat. Finally, we unpack why margin matters, how preparation can be an act of faith, and what Proverbs 21 and Joseph’s story show us about planning without panic. You’ll leave with practical, realistic next steps for budgeting, tracking spending, building an emergency fund, paying down debt, and choosing generosity with intention, plus one simple prompt to sit with this week.  If you want to go deeper, we also share how the She’s Organised Hub supports women with coaching, Bible studies, and practical resources.  Subscribe, share this with a friend, and leave a review so more people can find faith-led financial stewardship that actually brings peace.
