    What Is Happening To Modern Mothers…

    What happens when the person a child is supposed to trust the most becomes the person they need protection from? In this episode, we take a disturbing look at several cases involving mothers who allegedly hurt, abused, exploited, or killed their own children and the warning signs and circumstances surrounding some of these heartbreaking cases. We discuss the shocking case of Lindsay Clancy, the Massachusetts mother accused of killing her three children, Cora, Dawson, and Callan, in January 2023. Her case has raised difficult questions about mental health, motherhood, and criminal responsibility. Her 2026 murder trial ended in a mistrial after the jury could not reach a unanimous verdict. We also discuss Operation Statewide Shield in Florida, where authorities recovered 163 missing children, ranging from just 2 months old to 17 years old. Investigators said many of the children had experienced abuse, neglect, exploitation, or exposure to criminal activity. Another disturbing case involves Helena Nichole Hoyle, a South Carolina mother accused of allowing men to sexually assault her young daughters in exchange for money and drugs. Investigators say the children described repeated abuse involving multiple men, leading to trafficking and child-neglect charges against Hoyle. And those are only a few of the cases we get into. But, We also take a look at a California robotics company that has created some absolutely terrifying-looking machines designed to operate in places that would be too dangerous for humans. Their idea is actually pretty cool , helping during wildfires and other disasters. but once you see what these things look like, it’s hard not to understand why the internet has compared them to something straight out of a nightmare. And finally, we talk about another deeply disturbing side of the internet: cases involving teenagers and livestreams where things took a tragic turn. It raises some serious questions about social media, online audiences, and just how quickly something happening on a screen can become something much darker in real life.
