At Ember’s Rest, they find good beer, warm light, and the fleeting illusion that maybe — just maybe — they can enjoy five consecutive minutes of peace. Naturally, this does not last. What begins as a well-earned night out quickly sours when an old enemy resurfaces in the streets of Drogmalhar, bringing with them fresh horrors, rising danger… and the unmistakable scent of cloves.
