    Navigating The Currents, Part 1

Navigating the Currents The Hunger of the Soul, Sacred Landscapes & Living in Flow In This Episode What if what we call luck is really our relationship with the unseen currents flowing through our lives? Beginning with a hauntingly beautiful transmission on the hunger of the soul, Jennifer Taylor and Tava Baird find themselves drawn into an unexpected exploration of sacred symbols, feathers, serpents, ancient goddesses, and the hidden language of the natural world. As mysterious visions, sigils, and synchronistic discoveries unfold in real time, Samael reveals a profound teaching: the Earth itself is alive with patterns waiting to be read. Trees, stones, rivers, landscapes, and even the places we call home carry the memory of energetic currents, offering guidance to those willing to slow down, observe, and listen.  From that foundation emerges one of the episode's most transformative ideas: we do not move through life in isolation, but within an energetic sea. Rather than viewing our struggles as punishment or "bad luck," Jenn and Tava explore how we might instead learn to recognize the currents we inhabit—and when it is time to step into different waters. Through conversations about sacred places, ancestral stones, intuition, environmental energy, and our relationship with the living world, they invite listeners to rediscover nature as both teacher and companion. Sometimes healing is not about fighting harder, but about learning to recognize the landscape beneath our feet and allowing its wisdom to guide us back into the current that carries us home.  Journey Through This Episode 0:00 — A mysterious gift and the hunger of the soul7:00 — An unexpected vocal transmission20:45 — A winged sigil emerges24:45 — Tonantzin, Coatlicue, and the wisdom of the serpent30:20 — Rediscovering the Garden's original purpose35:20 — Is luck really just unseen currents?36:40 — Learning to navigate the energetic sea40:30 — Holy roots, holy stones, and nature as scripture45:00 — Reading the landscape around us48:20 — When struggle is a sign to change currents57:00 — Stones, ancestors, and finding home1:00:20 — Returning to flow through nature1:02:00 — Closing song: Sacred Waters, Singing StonesFor Your Journey Mentioned in this episode... The Sacred Hunter

What happens when two ancient spiritual currents begin to weave themselves together? In this extraordinary episode, Jennifer Taylor and Tava Baird share a behind-the-scenes experience unlike anything they've encountered before. While exploring the creation of a combined sigil for Michael and Samael, unexpected events unfold—visions, intense energetic sensations, mysterious power outages, spontaneous channeling, and profound songs that seem to emerge from somewhere beyond themselves. What begins as an exploration of sacred symbols quickly transforms into a deeper revelation about union, remembrance, and the mysterious point where seemingly opposite forces meet.  From those extraordinary experiences emerges a powerful teaching from Samael:  the mystery of The Sacred Hunter. Far from representing destruction, the Hunter becomes the keeper of sacred endings—the one who lovingly helps us release old identities, unfinished dreams, relationships, outdated stories, and limiting beliefs so that something new can truly take root. Through deeply personal stories about Keith's vocation, Amnivara's unfolding path, wedding rings, business transitions, and the courage to grieve what has served its purpose, Jenn and Tava explore why making space is itself a sacred act. Rather than urging us to cling more tightly to what we've built, this episode offers a profound invitation to honor what is complete, bless it, let it return to the Earth, and trust that every ending creates fertile ground for what longs to be born next.  In This Episode: The creation of a combined Michael–Samael sigilExtraordinary experiences during channelingThe meaning of the Sacred HunterWhy endings are the first step toward new beginningsHonoring grief as sacred ceremonyMaking space for new visions and possibilitiesReleasing old identities, projects, and limiting storiesKeith's role as the Sacred HunterBuilding Amnivara across lifetimesThe spiritual practice of conscious releaseWelcoming what is waiting to be bornWant more of Jenn's music?  https://amnivara.bandcamp.com/ Please remember this podcast is for inspiration, reflection, and entertainment only, and is not medical, psychological, or professional advice. Threshold Magic Pt 2: Reframing Chaos and Holding The Space Of Compassion

In the second half of their exploration of thresholds, Jennifer Taylor and Tava Baird dive deeply into Samael’s surprising teaching that: chaos is not the absence of divine pattern—it is divine pattern we do not yet recognize.  Through discussions of dance, music, relationships, gardening, cymatics, and personal transformation, they challenge the common belief that balance is good and chaos is bad. Instead, they explore how chaos serves as the fertile space between forms, the movement between notes, the disruption that allows new possibilities to emerge. From interpersonal conflict to major life transitions, Jenn and Tava examine what happens when we stop trying to force immediate resolution and instead learn to trust the unfolding process, allowing hidden truths, deeper patterns, and unexpected opportunities to reveal themselves.  The conversation then shifts into a profound exploration of compassion as an energetic state rather than an emotion, drawing on teachings from Jonathan Goldman and weaving them together with Samael’s guidance on "stepping to the side" and allowing chaos to do its work. Rather than becoming the referee in every conflict or attempting to control every outcome, Jenn and Tava explore the power of holding the Space of Compassion where healing, growth, and revelation can naturally occur. Along the way, they discuss chaos angels, gratitude, divine guidance, free will, and the possibility that some of life's greatest transformations arise not when we tighten our grip, but when we release it. As the summer solstice approaches, this episode offers a powerful invitation to see chaos not as something to fear, but as possibility itself—the sacred movement that allows us to become who we are meant to be. Threshold Magic: The Edge, Control and Possibility Part 1

As the summer solstice approaches, Jennifer Taylor and Tava Baird find themselves exploring the mysterious power of thresholds—the liminal spaces between what has been and what is becoming. Beginning with Samael's reflections on solstices, equinoxes, tides, doorways, hallways, and windowsills, the conversation unfolds into an exploration of "edge states": those moments when life is already in motion and possibility is at its greatest. Through stories of Reiki healing, sudden injuries, and energetic intervention, Jenn and Tava examine how moments of transition hold unique opportunities to redirect momentum, restore balance, and consciously participate in shaping what comes next. Rather than seeing change as something that simply happens to us, they explore how awareness allows us to engage with transformation while it is still fluid and malleable.  The discussion then deepens into a thought provoking conversations of the season: the relationship between chaos, control, change, and the human longing for erasure. Why do we struggle so deeply with uncertainty? Why do we cling to the illusion that we can return to a previous version of ourselves or undo what has already occurred? Through teachings from Samael, practical examples, and the recurring theme of "and" versus "or" thinking, Jenn and Tava explore how true transformation arises not from resisting change but from learning to ride its momentum. As the episode draws to a close, Samael requests a second transmission and announces his desire to speak directly on chaos and control—opening a doorway into a conversation so expansive that it ultimately spills into the following week's episode.  Please remember this podcast is for inspiration, reflection, and entertainment only, and is not medical, psychological, or professional advice. Energetic Anatomy and Tuning In To Your Guides

Following the unexpected arrival of Ophan, Jennifer Taylor and Tava Baird pause their exploration of angelic mysteries to examine the landscape through which all spiritual experiences flow: our own energy systems. In this episode, they unpack the relationship between chakras, the central channel, grounding, life-force energy, and the energetic patterns that shape our lives. Along the way, they explore how unresolved experiences can affect our ability to move forward and why balance between Heaven and Earth may be one of the most important spiritual practices of all. From there, the conversation shifts into the subtle art of receiving guidance. How do our guides actually communicate? Why do so many people miss the signs they're being given? Through stories of synchronicity, intuition, and unexpected messages delivered by strangers, Jenn and Tava explore the quiet language of spirit and the importance of trusting those tiny nudges that seem to come from nowhere. A thoughtful and accessible episode for both beginners and experienced practitioners, this conversation reminds us that sometimes the greatest spiritual breakthroughs begin with the smallest whisper.  Resources: The Gift of the Body by Jonathan Goldman Please remember this podcast is for inspiration, reflection, and entertainment only, and is not medical, psychological, or professional advice. The Gate, The Path and The Sword - Ophan's Arrival

What was supposed to be a practical discussion about energy systems and the chakras takes an unexpected turn when an entirely new presence enters the conversation. What follows is one of the most surprising, spontaneous, and energetically intense episodes of Mystical Musings to date.  After Jennifer's opening transmission, Tava receives a striking message from Samael in which he refers to a being unfamiliar to either host whom he calls Ophan.  This prompts an illuminating real-time investigation onto Ophan.  From there, the conversation expands into a profound exploration of divine architecture, energetic pathways, and the mechanisms through which growth, evolution, and possibility emerge. After Samael suggest that The Singer "sing her," a powerful song carrying Ophan's energy is brought through by Jenn - the effects of which (coupled with the messages received) were so intense Tava shares in earnest that she may be having a nervous breakdown. The result becomes an impromptu demonstration of grounding techniques, sensory awareness, and practical tools for returning to the body when spiritual experiences become overwhelming.  As Jennifer remarks during the recording: "You have to go lower to go higher." A fitting theme for an episode that begins in mystery, travels through angelic cosmology, unexpectedly demonstrates energetic embodiment, and leaves everyone wondering what will happen next. The episode concludes with Jennifer's recording of Soul Soothing, offering listeners a gentle opportunity to ground, integrate, and return to balance after one of the most unexpected journeys in Mystical Musings history. Hex Breaking and the Art of Letting Go

In this deeply practical — and unexpectedly healing — episode of Mystical Musings, Jennifer Taylor and Tava Baird begin what they think will be another exploration of “and/or” consciousness and multidimensional pathways… only to have the conversation completely redirected into an extensive discussion on hexbreaking, obsession, energetic entanglement, and the process of reclaiming the self. Following a powerful energetic transmission involving stone circles, flutes, movement, and what Jenn describes as almost “martial” protective gestures, Tava brings through an extensive teaching around the unintentional effects of willfully sending negative energies towards another, which come call 'hexing.' From there, the episode unfolds into a profound examination of: Hexes and energetic entanglementWhy obsession strengthens energetic cordsThe hidden danger of continuously focusing on what we hateHow repetitive anger and “venting spirals” can become self-perpetuatingWhy “anti-” movements often continue feeding the thing they opposeThe energetic consequences of fixationHow attention itself becomes a form of magicWhy ignoring something can sometimes be the greatest reclaiming of powerJenn beautifully expands the discussion beyond formal magical practice, pointing out that: Where attention goes, energy flows. The heart of the episode becomes an extensive 13-step “Hexbreaker” framework — a guide for recovering from emotional entanglement, heartbreak, obsession, spiritual imbalance, trauma spirals, and toxic energetic loops. Topics include: Retreating from constant digital noiseTaking intentional breaks from social media and overstimulationCreating environmental change to signal new beginningsRearranging physical space to support emotional healingGentle reconnection with trusted peopleIntroducing new ideas, books, art, and experiencesThe healing power of laughterTravel as energetic reorientationThe importance of touch, embodiment, and physical careGuardians and guides in dream states and liminal spacesCord-cutting, freezer spells, and how timing changes their energetic impactTherapy, EMDR, mindfulness, support groups, and psychiatric careRenaming, reconsecration, and becoming someone newBuilding what Samael calls:“A temple to the self.” The episode closes by returning once again to a recurring phrase that has become central to this season: “Hope is the strongest magic.” And fittingly, Jenn ends the episode with her channeled piece: Consecration of an Altar to Hope. The Next Lesson in Travel and Magic

This week on Mystical Musings, Jennifer Taylor and Tava Baird continue their ever-expanding exploration of time, multidimensional existence, discernment, and the mysterious nature of consciousness itself. Following another deeply immersive energetic transmission from Jennifer — amplified by the intentional creation of a sacred stone circle before recording — the conversation launches into what Samael calls: “The next lesson in travel and magic.”What follows is a fascinating and surprisingly grounded discussion about: The non-linear nature of timeParallel lives and multidimensional selvesWhy guides and unembodied beings experience time differentlyThe “Michael J. Fox theory” of time travelThe butterfly effect of energy and consciousnessHow pieces of our energy exist in many places at onceReaching across timelines for wisdom, guidance, and healingWhy information from other “selves” still requires interpretation and adaptationThe evolving meaning of spiritual insight over timeDiscernment in spirituality, history, and magical practiceThe dangers of rigid certainty and internet dogmaWhy “forbidden books” can still hold valueThe difference between information and wisdomGrace, nuance, and personal responsibility on spiritual pathsSamael uses rabbits, bouncing energy, and shifting pathways as metaphors for how consciousness moves through realms and timelines — explaining that embodied humans perceive time linearly only because our brains require that structure in order to function within this reality. Jenn and Tava discuss the possibility that multiple versions of ourselves may exist simultaneously across different realms, timelines, and experiences — and that wisdom can sometimes be exchanged between them. One of the most powerful sections of the episode centers around discernment: How truth evolves as perspective changesWhy spiritual information should remain open to reinterpretationThe responsibility of seekers to think criticallyThe importance of reading broadly rather than blindly following authorityWhy history itself is often incomplete, biased, or constantly evolvingTava passionately discusses the modern tendency toward certainty, censorship, and “approved information” within spiritual communities, arguing instead for thoughtful discernment, nuance, and personal responsibility. And somehow… amidst all the multidimensional philosophy and existential brain-bending… this episode also introduces: soothing sea turtle visualization techniques,Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy, and a whole lot of laughterPlease remember this podcast is for inspiration, reflection, and entertainment only, and is not medical, psychological, or professional advice.
