A Guide to Traveling Between Realms - Part 1

After several weeks away, Jennifer Taylor and Tava Baird return for Season 4 of Mystical Musings — and immediately find themselves plunged into one of the most expansive and mind-bending conversations they’ve ever had on the podcast. What begins as a simple opening song quickly transforms into a powerful energetic transmission, complete with an unexpected period of silence that Jennifer describes as “more of a session than a song.” From there, Samael launches into an intense exploration of time slips, liminal travel, multidimensional movement, and the energetic consequences of moving between realms too quickly. Together, Jenn and Tava unpack: The difference between past-life memories and observing events while out of bodyWhy some people may feel deeply connected to major historical eventsThe concept of “chaos angel energy”Energetic hitchhikers and “coattail travelers”How trauma and embodiment affect multidimensional perceptionThe importance of grounding and energetic processingMetatron’s Cube, gates, pathways, and traveling consciousnessWhy Samael says “It is not a film. There are actual conscious energies there.”The hidden dangers of identifying too strongly with who we think we once wereWhy “Hope is the strongest magic”Michael and Metatron’s connection to limitless possibilityThis episode also explores the idea that the stories we tell- about ourselves, and about history — shape reality far more deeply than we realize. ⚠️ Please Note: The opening sound transmission in this episode became unexpectedly deep and immersive. Jennifer strongly advises listeners not to listen while driving or operating machinery. There is also an extended period of silence during the transmission in which energetic work is still occurring. Next week, the conversation continues as Samael offers practical guidance for those who experience uncontrolled “traveling,” time slips, or liminal movement — and how to navigate those experiences safely while remaining grounded and embodied. Breaks Are Signs of Evolution - Part 2

Part 2 – Breaks As Signs of Evolution In this profound continuation of last week’s conversation, Jennifer Taylor and Tava Baird dive deeper into the nature of edge states, oscillation, gates, sacred geometry, incarnation, and the spiritual significance of “falling.” Through channeled discussion, personal experiences, and energetic exploration, the episode unfolds into a fascinating examination of how consciousness moves between states — and how transformation often begins in the breaking apart of old structures. Breaks are Signs of Evolution - Part 1

In this exciting kick off of Season 4 hosts Jennifer Taylor and Tava Baird dive deep into the understandings of 'edge states' and the evolution of our soul.  It begins with a brief discussion of Samael and Archangel Michael's "spirit crowd control plan" for how they will balance the needs of the spirits with those of the embodied participants in the upcoming Power of Story event held in a mausoleum.  Interestingly enough, the answer for this conundrum comes back around at the end - weaving its wisdom into how we might manage various aspects of ourselves that seem incongruous.  Many revelations are made -including Samael's sharing of a second level teaching in Lilithian philosophy.  A frequent occurrence in Jenn's energetic healing sessions (which Samael calls "incarnations") is explained in more detail by Samael, shedding light onto how one might reframe difficult life events in a way that fosters greater wholeness.    Season 4 starts off with a bang! You won't want to miss it.    Resources: Refuge in the Storm - channeled song at the end of the podcast - an energetic transmission of divine support through a collaboration between the Spirits of Place, Archangel Michael and Samael.   Downloadable through the link below: https://amnivara.bandcamp.com/track/refuge-in-the-storm Please remember this podcast is for inspiration, reflection, and entertainment only, and is not medical, psychological, or professional advice. Among Ghosts and Angels: Standing your Ground (Part 2)

In this exciting second part of our conversation from last week, hosts Jennifer Taylor and Tava Baird share the full experience of Jenn's first visit to the historic and quite haunted, Blue Ball Inn.  Not your typical paranormal investigation style podcast - this discussion  reveals  Tava's deeper understandings of, and ongoing relationships with, the resident ghosts; demonstrates acts of service and support of the spirits' personal spiritual work, and provides insights into the reason why some spirits may choose to remain on the earth plane rather than crossing over from Samael's perspective. From crackling walls, moving dolls and ghost preachers this episode has it all! While the experiences are sensational, the lessons learned and insights gained speak deeply to the effects of carrying around shame and self deprecating patterns, and how they can continue into the afterlife.   Jenn and Tava's experiences with the disembodied residents are equally surprising, enlightening and entertaining.  Aside from pure fun and interest,  there are lots of little gems of information and inspiration including ways of maintaining your sovereignty in highly energetic spaces; care and feeding of the disembodied, ways of offering compassion to both yourself and those on the other side, and more.  This is sure to be a favorite episode! 00:00 Part Two Setup 04:34 Arriving at the Inn 04:58 Foyer Energy Shift 07:58 Introductions and Boundaries 09:49 Spirits on Best Behavior 10:44 Upstairs Threat Map 12:32 Meeting McMillan Doll 14:51 House Comes Alive 18:37 Gate Room Wings Out 23:09 Dolls Chatter and Knocking 25:12 Pastor Michael Backstory 26:32 Pastor Spirit Profile 28:07 Jen Offers a Hymn 30:51 Old Rugged Cross Glitch 33:25 Shame Spiral Explained 37:22 Walking to the Gate 41:04 Deal to Return Singing 43:08 Up to the Attic Kids 45:36 Teaching Songs to Spirits 47:58 Pied Piper Exit 50:07 Closing Thanks and Song 53:58 Sovereignty SendoffWant to visit, volunteer, join the archeology teams or support the restoration and preservation of the Blue Ball Inn discussed in this episode?  Find out more about the Blue Ball Inn, Brucetown, VA: https://bbi1747.com/ Please remember this podcast is for inspiration, reflection, and entertainment only, and is not medical, psychological, or professional advice. Among Ghosts and Angels: Standing Your Ground (Part 1)

In this week's episode (a part 1 of 2), Jennifer Taylor and Tava Baird take a Mystical Musings Field Trip for Jenn's birthday to explore spirit communication dolls and Jenn's long-awaited introduction to the residents at the haunted Blue Ball Inn 1747. Tava explains her process of welcoming spirits, using music to feed visiting souls, and the physical and energetic restoration of dolls. Channeled song from Michael and a message from Samael introduce redefining holiness as active protection, unity, and raising one’s voice. The team discuss reframing helplessness by asking “What do I have?” and tell an archaeology story about being “six inches away” from a key discovery to encourage persistence. Part 2 - Azrael and The Poet: Jennifer Jurlando on Grief, Death Care and Being Alive

In this powerful continuation, hosts Jennifer Taylor and Tava Baird welcome back poet and death worker Jennifer Jurlando for a conversation weaving grief, embodiment, and the sacred act of becoming.  The episode opens in sacred space with an intuitive song transmission inspired by becoming—not as a moment, but as a process shaped by loss, transformation, and lived experience. Through Samael’s channeled perspective, listeners are offered a profound reframe of death—not as an ending, but as a passage worthy of celebration, music, and remembrance. The conversation gently explores the coexistence of sorrow and joy, and the permission to hold both. Jennifer Jurlando shares stunning original poetry, including “Dear Champion” and “Wild,” each illuminating the raw, hard-won nature of becoming. In “Embodied,” she offers a sweeping reflection on incarnation itself, featuring divine voices such as Samael, Michael and Azrael, and revealing the miracle of being alive in a human body. Moving seamlessly between depth and laughter, the episode touches on grief,  storytelling, the beauty of shared memory, and the unexpected sacredness woven into everyday life. This is a reminder that we are not here to transcend the human experience—but to fully inhabit it. Azrael and the Poet: Jennifer Jurlando on Grief, Death Care, and Being Alive

Azrael and the Poet: Jennifer Jurlando on Grief, Death Care, and Being Alive In this deeply moving first half of a two-part conversation, hosts Jennifer Taylor and Tava Baird welcome their dear friend Mystical Musing fan, Jennifer Jurlando. Jurlando is a poet, grief support facilitator, death doula, bonecaster and founder of Thistle Community Death Care. In this rich and tender episode, the conversation explores grief, mortality, ritual, embodiment, and the profound ways that contemplating death can deepen one’s experience of being alive. Azrael — the angel of death, transition, and transformation — and Jurlando’s long relationship with this presence, both personally and through her work with the dying and the bereaved are discussed. Samael shares his unique perspective on Azrael, offering a rare and compelling reflection that many longtime followers of the podcast will not want to miss.  Throughout the episode, Jurlando shares several of her own poems, bringing language and tenderness to places that often feel beyond words. Her reflections on loss, the body, grief, ritual, and the sacredness of end-of-life care offer both depth and beauty, while also illuminating the heart behind her work.  This conversation includes discussion of stillbirth, grief, death, and end-of-life planning, but it is also filled with warmth, humor, reverence, and a powerful appreciation for life itself. Letting Yourself Fall: The Caretaking Overdrive

Tava Baird and Jennifer Taylor discuss recent weekends spent receiving guidance: Tava attended the Sacred Space/Between the Worlds Pagan conference in Maryland, praising its advanced classes, rituals, vendors, and community, while Jennifer used a hotel retreat to clarify how Amnivara will be offered. They explore the theme of “falling” as choosing to let responsibilities drop, accept help, and allow others to find their wings, contrasting this with misreading urgency and over-functioning as caretaker. Tava shares the growth of Samael and Lilith's work,  and balancing authenticity with scale. Jennifer's channeled music and Samuel’s messages emphasize worthiness of rest, choosing retreat as reorganizing energy, and pilgrimage to one’s inner holy place. They plan personal retreats and invite listeners to do the same.
