Your Secret Sin Is Affecting More Than You Think.

What if the sin you're struggling with in private is affecting more than just you? We often convince ourselves that if nobody sees our sin, nobody else is affected by it. But the truth is, our obedience and disobedience to God can have a much greater impact than we realize. In this video, I open up about something God has been teaching me in my own walk with Him. I've noticed that when I'm genuinely pursuing Jesus, spending time in His Word, and fighting against secret sin, the Holy Spirit begins working through my life in ways I never expected. Conversations about God happen more naturally, people around me are encouraged in their faith, and I've even noticed differences in how our devotionals reach others. But I've also experienced the opposite. And it's made me ask myself a difficult question: Is a moment of satisfying my flesh really worth compromising the way God wants to use my life? Through the story of Achan in Joshua 7, we explore the consequences of hidden sin, why obedience matters, and how our private decisions can impact the people around us. This isn't about being perfect. It's about repentance, surrender, and choosing to follow Jesus even when nobody is watching. Your obedience matters. Your private life matters. And you never know how God might use your faithfulness to impact someone else's life. 📖 Scripture referenced: Joshua 7 Hebrews 4:13 Galatians 5:16 Matthew 5:16 James 5:16 1 John 1:9 If this message speaks to you, consider subscribing and joining us as we grow closer to Jesus and encourage others to do the same. You Can’t Heal in the Life You Keep Running Back To

Why do we keep going back to the very things we prayed for God to free us from? Sometimes it’s a relationship. Sometimes it’s a sin, a habit, a lifestyle, a friend group, or simply an old version of ourselves. We know it wasn’t good for us. We remember asking God to help us get out. But when following Him gets uncomfortable, the past can suddenly start looking a lot better than we remember it. The Israelites did the same thing. God miraculously freed them from slavery in Egypt, yet when the wilderness became difficult, they started remembering Egypt like it was home. They remembered the food but forgot the chains. And if we’re not careful, we can do the same thing. We remember the temporary pleasure and forget the pain. We remember what was comfortable and forget why we begged God to change us in the first place. In this video, we talk about what Israel’s journey out of Egypt can teach us about leaving our old lives behind, resisting the temptation to go backward, and trusting God when freedom feels unfamiliar. Maybe God has already brought you out of something. Don’t let a difficult season convince you that you were better off in Egypt. You left for a reason. Keep walking. 📖 Scriptures discussed:Numbers 11Numbers 14Galatians 5:1 If this video encouraged you, consider subscribing and sharing it with someone who might need to hear this today. — theWordcast #Christian #Faith #Jesus #God #ChristianYouTube #Bible #FollowingJesus #ChristianMotivation
