By the Blood & the Word: Testimony Series Pt. 3 — Part 1

Some battles are taught about. Others are testified about. Throughout Season 5, we've been having honest conversations about the battles people fight in their minds, the wounds they carry, and the healing that can be necessary after difficult experiences. But sometimes we need to stop talking about the battle long enough to remember: God has brought people through. In this special third installment of our Testimony Series, Women of Valor makes room for real stories of faith, struggle, deliverance, endurance, healing, restoration, and the faithfulness of God. 📖 “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony…” — Revelation 12:11 A testimony is more than a story about what happened. It is a witness. This is where I was. This is what I faced. This is what God did. And this is why I still believe. Sometimes we look at people after the victory without knowing what it cost them to get there. We see the worship but not the warfare. We see the strength but not the nights they cried. We see the testimony but not the chapter where they wondered how the story would end. This episode reminds us that the same God who was faithful in someone else's story is still faithful today. 🩸 The Blood still speaks. 🗣️ Your testimony still matters. 🔥 What God brought you through can strengthen someone still going through it. Maybe you're currently living in the chapter before the testimony. Maybe you're praying for something that hasn't changed yet. Maybe you're wondering whether God sees you. Let these testimonies remind you: Your current chapter is not necessarily the conclusion of your story. And if God has already brought you through something, don't bury the evidence. Someone needs to hear what He did. 🎙️ Join us for Season 5, Episode 5: By the Blood & the Word — Testimony Series Pt. 3. Come listen. Come remember. Come be encouraged. And perhaps you'll recognize that you have a testimony too. #WomenOfValor #ByTheBloodAndTheWord #TestimonySeries #Revelation1211 #ChristianTestimony #GodIsFaithful #Overcomer #Faith #Healing #Deliverance #Restoration

Wounded in the House: Church Hurt & Spiritual Abuse — Pt. 2

You identified the wound. You acknowledged what happened. But now comes another difficult question: How do you heal from something that happened in the very place you expected to find God? In Part 1 of Wounded in the House, Women of Valor opened an honest conversation about church hurt, spiritual abuse, manipulation, control, unhealthy leadership, and the misuse of spiritual authority. Now, in Part 2, we're talking about what comes next. Because recognizing the wound is important—but God does not desire for us to build our identity around what wounded us. How do you forgive without pretending the harm wasn't real? How do you establish healthy boundaries without allowing bitterness to build walls around your heart? How do you rebuild trust after spiritual authority has been misused? How do you remain connected to Christ when people who represented Him poorly have damaged your perception of Him? And how do we pursue accountability without allowing our pain to become revenge? 📖 “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.” — Psalm 147:3 Healing does not require denial. Forgiveness does not call evil good. Reconciliation and forgiveness are not always the same thing. Trust can be rebuilt—but trust also requires faithfulness. Boundaries are not automatically bitterness. And accountability is not rebellion. 🔥 You can forgive and still acknowledge what happened. 🔥 You can heal without returning to unhealthy environments. 🔥 You can honor biblical authority without submitting to manipulation. 🔥 You can love the Body of Christ while acknowledging where the Body needs healing. 🔥 And you can rediscover the character of God apart from the people who misrepresented Him. Perhaps one of the enemy's greatest victories after church hurt would be allowing the actions of people to convince you to abandon the God who never wounded you. People may have failed you. Leadership may have disappointed you. A church experience may have deeply affected you. But none of those things have the authority to redefine the character of God. This episode isn't simply about surviving church hurt. It's about refusing to allow the wound to have the final word. 🩹 Tell the truth about what happened. 💛 Give yourself permission to heal. 🙏🏽 Bring the pain honestly before God. 🤝 Seek wise and safe support. 🚧 Establish necessary boundaries. 📖 Rediscover God through His Word. And when you're ready… move forward without carrying the wound as your identity. 🎙️ Season 5, Episode 4: Wounded in the House — Church Hurt & Spiritual Abuse Pt. 2 🎧 Listen now on the Women of Valor Podcast.

Wounded in the House: Church Hurt & Spiritual Abuse Pt. 1

What happens when the wound didn't come from the world… …but from inside the house? The church should be a place of refuge, discipleship, accountability, community, and healing. Yet for many people, some of their deepest wounds are connected to experiences within Christian communities. Being manipulated by spiritual authority. Being publicly humiliated or privately controlled. Having questions treated as rebellion. Watching wrongdoing be protected while the wounded are told to remain silent. Having Scripture used as a weapon instead of a source of truth and healing. And sometimes, the hurt is not spiritual abuse at all—but it is still very real. In Season 5, Episode 3, Women of Valor begins an honest and necessary conversation about church hurt and spiritual abuse. How do we distinguish between biblical correction and spiritual manipulation? Between godly authority and control? Between ordinary conflict among imperfect people and patterns that have become spiritually abusive? And perhaps one of the hardest questions: What do you do when someone’s representation of God damages the way you see God Himself? 📖 “Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD.” — Jeremiah 23:1 This conversation is not about attacking the Church. It is about loving the Body of Christ enough to confront what wounds it. Because accountability is biblical. Correction is biblical. Spiritual authority is biblical. But so are humility, servant leadership, justice, truth, compassion, and accountability for those entrusted with God's people. 🔥 Godly authority does not require you to ignore wrongdoing. 🔥 Forgiveness does not mean pretending something never happened. 🔥 Church hurt and spiritual abuse are not always the same thing. 🔥 And the failure of people does not change the character of God. If you have ever been hurt in church, struggled to trust spiritual leadership again, questioned whether what happened to you was actually biblical, or watched someone walk away wounded and confused—this conversation is for you. We're bringing the wound into the light, not so we can remain defined by what happened, but so healing can begin. 🎙️ Season 5, Episode 3: Wounded in the House — Church Hurt & Spiritual Abuse Pt. 1 🎧 Listen now on the Women of Valor Podcast.

Battlefields of the Mind: Mental Health & Spiritual Warfare, Pt. 2

The battlefield has been identified. Now, how do we respond? In Part 1, we opened an honest conversation about mental health, emotional struggles, and spiritual warfare—challenging the idea that every mental-health struggle means someone lacks faith or that every battle of the mind should automatically be labeled demonic. Now in Part 2, Women of Valor goes deeper. What happens when fear becomes a pattern? When negative thoughts begin shaping how you see yourself, God, and your future? How do we recognize strongholds, confront lies with truth, seek healing for genuine wounds, and know when additional support may be necessary? 📖 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind…” — Romans 12:2 This conversation reminds us that caring for our minds and engaging in spiritual warfare do not have to compete with one another. We can: 🧠 renew unhealthy patterns of thinking 🙏🏽 pray and remain spiritually alert 📖 bring our thoughts under the truth of God's Word 💛 address emotional wounds rather than burying them 🤝 receive support and godly community 🩺 seek qualified professional care when needed Because sometimes healing requires us to stop pretending that everything is okay and begin honestly examining what is happening within us. 🔥 Not every thought deserves your agreement. 🔥 Not every struggle has the same source. 🔥 Discernment determines how we respond. 🔥 You do not have to suffer silently. The enemy would love to use shame, fear, isolation, accusation, and deception to keep God's people bound—but Christ calls us into truth, freedom, wisdom, and wholeness. The battle may involve your mind, but your mind does not have to belong to the battle. 🎧 Join us for Season 5, Episode 2: Battlefields of the Mind — Mental Health & Spiritual Warfare Pt. 2.
