    Do Good

Doing good sounds easy—until you’re tired, stretched thin, and wondering if what you’re doing is actually making a difference. In this message from Galatians 6:7–10, Pastor Matt Troyer looks at the biblical principle that we reap what we sow and Paul’s challenge to not grow weary in doing good. Whether it’s our time, energy, money, or simply showing up for someone who needs us, following Jesus means looking for opportunities to invest in the lives of others—even when it costs us something. But we aren't called to meet every need or carry the weight of the world ourselves. Instead, we're called to keep in step with the Spirit, trust God with what He has placed in our hands, and faithfully do the good that is right in front of us. Because even when you can't see the results yet, God sees every seed you plant. So don't give up. Keep doing good. The harvest is coming.

    Toss it in the Trees

Following Jesus is a race of faith—but sometimes the things we carry make the race harder than it needs to be. In this message from Hebrews 12:1–3, Pastor Matt Troyer challenges us to take an honest look at what may be weighing us down. Some things are clearly sin, while others may not be wrong at all—but they've taken up too much of our time, attention, or heart. If it's keeping us from faithfully following Jesus, it may be time to toss it in the trees. But perseverance isn't just about what we let go of. It's about where we look. When life gets difficult, faith feels exhausting, or we're tempted to give up, Scripture calls us to fix our eyes on Jesus—the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. What do you need to toss into the trees? And where do you need to look to Jesus?

    Bear One Another's Burdens

In this message from Galatians 6, Pastor Matt Troyer takes a deeper look at what it really means to “bear one another’s burdens.” It’s more than showing up when someone is hurting—it means loving people enough to help them get back up when sin trips them up. Matt challenges us to move beyond simply worrying about our own spiritual growth and become the kind of people who gently restore, encourage, challenge, and walk alongside others. Because mature faith isn’t just about making sure you finish the race—it’s about helping the people around you finish too. The message closes with Donald’s powerful story of how an invitation, friendship, Bible study, and Christian community helped bring him back to Jesus—showing what can happen when believers actually carry one another’s burdens.

    Winning Takes Disciplined Training

What if growing in your faith takes more than good intentions? In this message from 1 Corinthians 9, Pastor Matt Troyer challenges us to approach our relationship with Jesus the way an athlete approaches a race—not drifting toward the finish line, but training with purpose. Spiritual growth doesn’t happen by accident. It takes discipline, intentionality, and a willingness to keep showing up even when we don’t feel like it. But discipline isn’t about earning God’s love or working for salvation. We’re saved by grace. Instead, spiritual discipline helps us become the people Christ has already called and redeemed us to be. Whether it’s knowing God more deeply, learning to discern what’s good, walking by the Spirit, or growing in obedience, the challenge is simple: Don’t just run the race. Run to win.

Ready for the Return of Christ

What if being ready for Jesus has less to do with figuring out when He’s coming back—and everything to do with how you’re living right now? In this message from Mark 13, Pastor Matt Troyer unpacks Jesus’ final words about His return and the repeated command to stay alert. While people have spent generations trying to predict dates and decode timelines, Jesus gives His followers a different focus: watch, be ready, and live faithfully today. Matt explores what that readiness actually looks like through faith, love, and hope—and reminds us that following Jesus isn’t something to put off until later. We don’t know when Christ will return, but we do know how He calls us to live while we wait. Readiness isn’t a future plan. It’s a present preparedness.

The Destruction of the Temple and the Return of Jesus

What does Jesus actually want us to know about the end times? In Mark 13, Jesus gives His disciples startling news: the temple will be destroyed, difficult days are coming, and one day He will return in power and glory. In this message, Pastor Matt Troyer walks through one of Jesus’ most challenging teachings, separating speculation from what Jesus clearly calls His followers to do. Rather than obsessing over dates and signs, we’re called to live alert, prepared, and expectant—knowing God’s Word, standing firm when life gets difficult, and confidently trusting that Jesus will keep every promise He has made. The question isn’t simply when Jesus will return, but how are we living while we wait?

    Jesus Before His Birth

Who is Jesus—really? In this message from Mark 12, Pastor Matt Troyer explores a question Jesus asked the religious leaders that challenged everything they thought they knew about the Messiah. Through Psalm 110 and Daniel 7, we discover that Jesus is far more than a great teacher or even a descendant of David—He is the Son of God and the Son of Man, our Savior and reigning King. Matt challenges us to move beyond simply knowing facts about Jesus to truly beholding Him for who He is. Because when we rightly understand Jesus, it changes how we respond to Him—giving us a deeper reverence for who He is and confidence in who He says He is.

    The Most Important Commandment

What’s the main thing in following Jesus? This week, Grant Engeman from the CrossPoint Teaching Team challenges us to simplify what we often make complicated. Jesus said the greatest commandment is to love God with everything we have and to love our neighbor as ourselves. Love isn’t just another part of the Christian life—it’s the measure of it. But this isn’t the shallow, sentimental version of love our culture often celebrates. It’s agape love—sacrificial, enduring, and willing to give itself away. And Grant reminds us that the greatest threat to that kind of love may be our tendency to put ourselves back at the center. So how do we become people who genuinely love well? Not by trying harder, but by receiving the love of God first. Love comes in, love goes out. As we understand God’s love, allow it to move from our heads to our hearts, and live from that identity, loving others becomes an overflow of what God is already doing in us. The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing—and the main thing is love.
