Are You Forcing the Flow? | Knowing When to Push, Pause & Trust the Energy

Send us Fan Mail Sometimes the most aligned thing you can do is stop trying to make the plan happen. In this episode of Seeds of Discovery, Elaine and Beth sit down—once again with a little thunder rumbling in the background—for an unexpected conversation about force vs. flow. After realizing that their carefully planned recording day wasn't unfolding the way they expected, one question surfaced: How do you know when you're doing the work... and when you're forcing the work? We talk about recognizing the physical and energetic “tells” that let us know when something is aligned, the difference between procrastination and honoring your actual capacity, and what happens when anxiety and pressure start replacing curiosity and inspiration. The conversation also brings us back to the Year of the Fire Horse and a realization that maybe we don't need to keep up with the wild horse at all. Maybe the question is: What kind of horse are you today? The wild horse ready to run? The thoroughbred with somewhere to go? The old gray mare who would really like to hang out in the pasture? Or maybe even the foal—still finding its legs and learning how to stand? Because being in flow doesn't always look like moving quickly. Sometimes it looks like recognizing the energy you're actually in and allowing yourself to work with it rather than against it. And perhaps that's exactly where the magic happens. 🌱 In this episode: Force vs. flow and how to recognize the differenceFinding your body's personal signals for alignmentHonoring energetic capacity without confusing it with avoidanceAnxiety and stress as clues that we may be pushing too hardRevisiting the Year of the Fire Horse halfway through the journeyWhy old teachings can reveal something completely different when we return to themAllowing the path to be clear without needing every step to be finishedAnd, unexpectedly, figuring out what kind of horse you are todayGrab a cup of something warm, listen for the thunder in the background, and join us for another conversation that went exactly where it apparently needed to go. Honoring the Energy: Boundaries, Burnout & Doing Things Differently

Send us Fan Mail Sometimes the conversation you didn't plan is the one you're supposed to have. With thunder rolling in the background, Elaine and Beth sit down for an unplanned conversation about where they are in their work, their spiritual practices, and the ways their relationship with energy continues to evolve. They talk about energetic boundaries, burnout, consent in energy work, the pressure to carry messages or healing for other people, and the realization that just because you can do something doesn't necessarily mean you should. They also explore why they're changing the way they teach—moving away from rigid "shoulds" and traditional structures and toward self-paced learning, personal experience, and giving people space to develop their own relationship with energy. Along the way, the conversation moves through Reiki, Transitional Pathways, intuitive work, spiritual overwhelm, honoring your capacity, and the importance of knowing when the container needs to become a little smaller. Because sometimes honoring your energy means changing the plan. And sometimes the thunder has something to say too. ⛈️✨ Join us for a very real, very unplanned Seeds conversation about boundaries, responsibility, trust, and learning to work with the energy that's actually here. The Sanctuary Within: Introducing Transitional Pathways©

Send us Fan Mail We’re back! 💜 After an unexpected little podcast hiatus, we’re sitting down to talk about what has been keeping us so busy behind the scenes: Transitional Pathways©. In this episode, Elaine and Beth share how Transitional Pathways© came into being, how the work has changed through their own experiences with it, and why Reiki remains an energetic thread running through the practice—even though you don’t have to be a Reiki practitioner to begin. We talk about the Meadow, the inner landscape, meditation for people who don’t necessarily “see” when they meditate, neurodivergent-friendly spiritual practices, and why we chose to make this work self-paced rather than trying to fit a deeply personal experience into a weekend class. But underneath all of that is something even simpler: learning how to sit with yourself. Not fixing. Not changing. Not looking outside yourself for someone else to tell you what your experience means. Just witnessing, listening, exploring, and slowly discovering the sanctuary that already exists within you. If you’ve been curious about Transitional Pathways©, Reiki, inner journey work, self-trust, or finding a more personal and intuitive way to approach spiritual practice, this episode is a beautiful place to begin. Broken Open: Navigating Change, Purpose & Spiritual Growth

Send us Fan Mail In this episode, we're trying something a little different. Instead of a structured topic, we gathered around the table, pulled cards, and let the conversation unfold naturally. What emerged was an honest discussion about intuition, transformation, confidence, legacy work, spiritual growth, creativity, and the challenges of balancing our soul work with everyday life. We talk about: ✨ Trusting your intuition even when you're unsure ✨ Moving through dark nights of the soul and personal transformation ✨ The difference between being broken and being broken open ✨ Imposter syndrome and claiming your gifts ✨ Childlike wonder, imagination, and reconnecting with the unseen ✨ Balancing spiritual experiences with grounded, everyday life ✨ The tension between control and surrender ✨ Walking a new path instead of repeating old patterns This episode feels less like a podcast and more like sitting around the table with friends having the conversations that happen when the cameras are rolling—and sometimes when they're not. We hope you'll pull up a chair and join us. #SpiritualGrowth #Intuition #Tarot #AkashicRecords #PersonalTransformation #ShadowWork #SpiritualPodcast Support the show Thank you so much for joining us on Seeds of Discovery! The Revolutionary Path: Confidence, Vulnerability & Doing the Work

Send us Fan Mail In this honest and unscripted conversation, we explore the space between confidence and vulnerability- and what happens when the masks come off. What began as a casual discussion quickly evolved into a deeper reflection on imposter syndrome, childhood conditioning, self-doubt, perfectionism, and the inner voices that tell us we're not enough. We share personal stories about learning to trust ourselves, navigating spiritual growth, healing old patterns, and discovering that doing "the work" isn't always about having the answers. Along the way, we talk about: ✨ Confidence vs. vulnerability  ✨ Childhood beliefs and how they shape us  ✨ Imposter syndrome and self-doubt  ✨ Why comparison keeps us stuck  ✨ Trusting your own spiritual process  ✨ The Meadow and inner healing work  ✨ Working with cards as a tool for reflection  ✨ ADHD, divergent thinking, and spiritual practice  ✨ Letting go of rigid systems and finding what works for you  ✨ The Revolutionary archetype and creating a more authentic path Whether you're navigating your own healing journey, questioning your next step, or simply trying to quiet the inner critic, this conversation is a reminder that growth doesn't have to look like anyone else's path. Sometimes the most revolutionary thing we can do is trust ourselves. Support the show Thank you so much for joining us on Seeds of Discovery! Unfiltered: Patterns, Self-Sabotage & Choosing Differently

Send us Fan Mail This mini episode came from a test recording that turned into something deeper than we expected. We found ourselves talking about the patterns we carry—how they’re formed, how they protect us, and how they can quietly shape our relationships, our choices, and the way we see ourselves. From taking on responsibility that was never ours… to pushing people away even when they’re trying to help… to questioning ourselves even when we know we’ve earned where we are. This conversation moves through: survival patterns and where they come fromthe “snow globe” idea of repeating the same cycles what it looks like to choose differently (even in small ways)and the truth that healing isn’t always about fixing—sometimes it’s about learning to navigateThere’s something powerful about hearing these things spoken out loud, in real time, without a filter. From Control to Trust: The Evolution of Energy Work

Send us Fan Mail In this episode, we dive into the evolution of energy work—not as something we control, but as something we learn to trust, follow, and align with. We reflect on how our relationship with energy has shifted over time—from structured techniques and “doing it right” to a more intuitive, relational approach. What began as learning protocols and symbols has become a deeper understanding: energy isn’t something we command… it’s something we partner with. We talk about: Letting go of control and allowing energy to move naturallyThe difference between learning a modality vs. embodying itWhy “healing” isn’t about fixing yourselfHow all of us already have access to this energyTrusting your own way of working with energyThis conversation is an invitation to move beyond the “steps” and into your own lived experience with energy—to trust what you feel, and to let that be enough. ✨ You are not here to master the energy. You are here to allow it to move through you. Support the show Thank you so much for joining us on Seeds of Discovery! We hope today’s episode planted a seed of inspiration in your life. The Fire Horse Energy Is Just Getting Started 🔥 What’s Coming Next (Astrology Update)

Send us Fan Mail We’re revisiting one of our most popular conversations—the Fire Horse energy—because the truth is… we’re just getting started. While the Year of the Fire Horse began with the Chinese New Year, this isn’t a passing moment—it’s a long-wave energetic shift. And now, with major astrology activating (including Mars moving into Aries, a powerful Aries New Moon, and Uranus preparing to shift into Gemini), the fire is beginning to build in a very real way.  In this episode, we explore: Why you may not have felt the Fire Horse energy yet—and why that’s changingHow fire shows up internally (thoughts, emotions, clarity) before it manifests externallyThe difference between reaction vs. response in high-intensity energyFire + air energy → why things may feel fast, amplified, or even combustibleWorking with passion vs. burning things down (literally or energetically)The balance of Venus in Taurus bringing grounding to all this fireWhat it means to “put on your Leo” and step into visibility and confidenceWe also share a powerful message that came through meditation: ✨ Move forward—but leave lanterns of light behind you for others. This is a conversation about authenticity, momentum, and conscious creation—not just surviving intense energy, but learning how to work with it in a grounded, intentional way.
