Also a couple light Zodiac Academy spoilers because we randomly refer to that too!** In this episode, we discuss our predictions for ACOSH and make Bingo cards for some things we think will happen (and some things that are…likely not going to happen lol). This is also informally (if you know Zodiac!) the Orion and Seth group project! We haven’t laughed this hard or been this unhinged in a long time lol!  What are you putting on your bingo card??? https://linktr.ee/bookbreathingbtchqueens Intro/Closing Music Credit: Indie-Pop by Ivan Luzan Find the song here: https://pixabay.com/music/indie-pop-indie-pop-170731/ Find Ivan Luzan here:  https://pixabay.com/users/ivan_luzan-34614814/

The Darkness Stares Back | Episode 77–ACOMAF Chapter 46-47

Thumbnail art:  Art by vincry.arts on Instagram! https://www.instagram.com/p/CZziUHxo43i/  https://www.instagram.com/vincry.arts/  **All our episodes may contain SPOILERS for all three Maasverse series so please only listen if you've read ALL the books!** In this episode, continue with part 2 of our discussion of chapters 45-47 (this is just 46 and 47–part 1 was last week’s ep!). This is the episode where we are training in the forest with Rhys and Feyre and there’s lots of tension between the two of them and then leads into the iconic encounter with Lucien in the forest. This is sort of the end of the “training montage” part of the book and a really interesting collision of Feyre’s two worlds. Lots of fun moments (Feyre’s line about the darkness, Rhys immediately touching Feyre’s dick, Feyre sprouting wings, and more!) What’s your fav part of these chapters?? https://linktr.ee/bookbreathingbtchqueens Intro/Closing Music Credit: Indie-Pop by Ivan Luzan Find the song here: https://pixabay.com/music/indie-pop-indie-pop-170731/ Find Ivan Luzan here:  https://pixabay.com/users/ivan_luzan-34614814/

We do begin with a longer discussion of the Azriel leak and Lucien quote (that ends/regular episode begins at 27:56). Also, we ended up splitting this ep into two since it was long so chapters 46-47 will be coming next week! We also discussing being made (because of the comments with Amren) and some other things. We also spent a good time discussing the Illyrian society and the interesting details we get in chapter 45 about this. This is also when we learn about the Tamlin and Rhys backstory which was another interesting deep dive.  https://linktr.ee/bookbreathingbtchqueens Intro/Closing Music Credit: Indie-Pop by Ivan Luzan Find the song here: https://pixabay.com/music/indie-pop-indie-pop-170731/ Find Ivan Luzan here:  https://pixabay.com/users/ivan_luzan-34614814/

    Starfall with the High Lord | Episode 75–ACOMAF Chapters 43 & 44

Thumbnail art:  Feyre and Rhys dancing on Starfall by meiflowersketches on Instagram! https://www.instagram.com/p/C-AljWGs4Ct/?hl=en&img_index=1  Feyre and Rhys smiling at each other on Starfall by madschofield on Instagram! https://www.instagram.com/p/CcLnf34pmw5/?img_index=2  **All our episodes may contain SPOILERS for all three Maasverse series so please only listen if you've read ALL the books!** In this episode, we discuss the aftermath of the visit to the Court of Nightmares, the conflict between Rhys and Feyre which then culminates in the night at Starfall! We’ve got lots of thoughts about how the relationship between them is changing and building and of course some general theorizing too–we take another look at Azriel smelling mate bonds in the bonus chapter at the beginning of this episode and also wonder if Aidas is at the Starfall party?? Because who is that mysterious man that Azriel and Cassian are talking to? And what are these souls? Starfall feels super significant/like it has major crossover potential and we don’t really have solid ideas but did have fun theorizing about it! Are they migrating around and around like whales or are these different spirits every year? Also another moment of intimacy covered in “paint” lol.  https://linktr.ee/bookbreathingbtchqueens Intro/Closing Music Credit: Indie-Pop by Ivan Luzan Find the song here: https://pixabay.com/music/indie-pop-indie-pop-170731/ Find Ivan Luzan here:  https://pixabay.com/users/ivan_luzan-34614814/

“It means nothing. It’s just your body reacting” | Episode 74–ACOMAF Chapter 42

Thumbnail art:  Rhys & Feyre by madschofield on Instagram! https://www.instagram.com/p/CcOMNIlJJjE/?hl=en&img_index=1  **All our episodes may contain SPOILERS for all three Maasverse series so please only listen if you've read ALL the books!** In this episode, we discuss the visit to the Court of Nightmares! There’s lots of really interesting parts of this chapter with the attack on the way (Mor was absent for that btw), the incessant flirting, Feyre being turned on by power, the tension between Rhys and his court and lots of interesting details about the sacred mountain! Plus this chapter is just so iconic. Also, Feyre flirting with Rhys made her feel like she’d been sleeping in a glass coffin (like the Asteri at the prison)?? What is that line lol?? What do you think–just her body reacting? https://linktr.ee/bookbreathingbtchqueens Intro/Closing Music Credit: Indie-Pop by Ivan Luzan Find the song here: https://pixabay.com/music/indie-pop-indie-pop-170731/ Find Ivan Luzan here:  https://pixabay.com/users/ivan_luzan-34614814/

    Facing the Human Queens | Episode 73–ACOMAF Chapters 40 & 41

Thumbnail art:  The Human Queens by odelletheoctopus on tumblr! https://odelletheoctopus.tumblr.com/post/172099799741/the-mortal-queens-yeah-it-took-me-a-while-to  **All our episodes may contain SPOILERS for all three Maasverse series so please only listen if you've read ALL the books!** In this episode, we discuss the meeting with the human queens and the aftermath, just before they make the decision to go to the Night Court for that chapter! We’ve got lots of thoughts and ideas about what is really going on here: Why does Mor blurt out a question about winnowing at the start of a very tenuous and meticulously planned meeting? Is Rhys’ last name Moonbeam? What is his power (and what is Mor’s)?? What does the Veritas really do? Were the Black Lands the past of Eyllwe?  https://linktr.ee/bookbreathingbtchqueens Intro/Closing Music Credit: Indie-Pop by Ivan Luzan Find the song here: https://pixabay.com/music/indie-pop-indie-pop-170731/ Find Ivan Luzan here:  https://pixabay.com/users/ivan_luzan-34614814/
