This chapter covers that first initial meeting with Tarquin, Cresseida, and Varian and the different masks Feyre is learning to wear as a member of the Night Court IC. These chapters are fun and feel like the start of a new part of the book with some interesting deepening relationships, a lot more insight into the Inner Circle and the dynamics between them and the interesting ways that Feyre is starting to belong with them. We’ve got some interesting thoughts about Azriel being suspicious of Mor, Cassian spouting the goss and getting in trouble, and a few interesting points looking at Rhys’s backstory.
