    Advocating Through Recovery: A Veteran’s Journey After Limb Loss

    Marine veteran and motorcycle enthusiast Ryan Roberts joins host Rachael Auyer to share his journey from a devastating motorcycle accident and 15+ surgeries to choosing amputation, learning to walk again, and getting back on his Harley, on the golf course, and into the water. Ryan explains how he navigated VA benefits, accessed community prosthetic care during Covid, and worked with his prosthetist to match his prosthesis to his goals. This episode is a powerful look at perseverance, self-advocacy, and what’s possible after limb loss.     As Season One comes to a close, our hearts are full of gratitude.
