    What's the Reality on America's Next Top Model (Part Two)?

    Welcome to part two of What's the Reality on America's Next Top Model. Unfortunately, I had audio issues, which I was able to fix for audio-only listeners, but not the YouTubers, so there isn't a video for this episode, which sucks because my makeup was so tea after work.  Anyways, in part one, we talked about the birth of ANTM, Tyra Banks' career, and some other details before I dived into the documentary. Now that I have watched the documentary, I have finally formed a true opinion on Miss Tyra Banks, which may be controversial. Part two recalls her fallout with Jay Manuel, the epic firings, scandals behind the scenes, and a breakdown of the documentary series, of course, with much commentary.  Thanks for listening!     Toxic Tuesday (Rihanna Home Shooting, Dr. Wendy and Eddie Updates, Southern Hospitality Premiere, LIB Ohio)

    Welcome back to the pod! I am back for Toxic Tuesday after a much-needed vacation, and what didn't I miss?  First, I must share my condolences to Mary Cosby for Robert Jr. and this awful tragedy! Definitely praying for Mary.  In other headlines, Rihanna's home shooting details and why these parasocial relationships need to be stopped immediately. Next, I dive into the RHOA trailer and whether it was giving Love and Hip Hop (it was not). Dr. Wendy and Eddie Osefo have some trial updates, and it's not looking good for Eddie; it's giving he is taking the fall. I talk about Ciara's lack of boundaries on Summer House and why she is constantly finding herself in the positions she is. Finally, the golden era of reality TV seems to be back on as Southern Hospitality's premiere was insanely good. Also, Love Is Blind, Ohio is keeping me fed unexpectedly. I also briefly discuss the final reunion on RHOP, thoughts on Married to Medicine, and Candiace Dillard-Basset taking a major L after The Traitors.  So happy to be back!     Toxic Tuesday (BAFTA Awards, Met Gala Theme, Hilary Duff, RHOP, Married2Med, Summer House)

    Welcome to the pod and to another episode of Toxic Tuesday. In this episode, I dive into the mess that has been the BAFTA Awards and how Black History Month has been less rewarding than before, given its historic 100-year run. They really are playing with us, from Ryan Coogler's speech being censored when he said "Free Palestine" to Tourettes being used as an excuse by the masses... a true disappointment. In other news, at least the Met Gala theme was announced: Fashion is Art. I also get into the tea on Hilary Duff and her sister, the former Disney star, who confirmed that the two are estranged.  After reali(tea) topics, I get into the latest part of the RHOP reunion, and all I can say is the newbies fell FLAT. I'm also excited for Married 2 Medicine's annual couple trip. Some stuff is for sure about to go down. I also briefly discuss Summer House and Amanda and Kyle's new dynamic.  I'm going on vacation!     What's the Reality on America's Next Top Model (Part One)?

    America’s Next Top Model premiered in May 2003 and was a reality show competition series based on finding America’s next top model, literally. The competition series would feature women from all over, from Kansas City to New York, and select 10-13 typical women, whipping them into modeling shape over the course of 12 weeks, with looming eliminations each episode. The show’s popularity really began to rise with higher stakes and more incentives by Cycle 3. It was a true pop culture phenomenon. Recently, the ANTM controversy and Tyra Banks' behavior have been all over timelines, with a Netflix documentary highlighting the show's demise and Banks' cold tactics.  In part one, I am deep-diving into the original show and everything that came from it, from scandals to crazy photoshoots.
