Episode 12: LESSONS FROM LOSS

Asalamu’alaikum WarahmatuLlah Wahbahrakatu!! It’s been a moment and I hope this episode finds you in the best of health. A short incite on loss and how it shapes our lives as believers. A personal reflection on loss, fear, gratitude, and the reality of preparing for death. Two incidents shifted my perspective this year, reminding me of Allah’s mercy and the importance of grounding ourselves in faith. Reference!! Jabir reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, say three days before his death, “None of you should die unless he expects good from Allah.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2877 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Muslim “We will certainly test you with a touch of fear and famine and loss of property, life, and crops. Abu Bakrah reported: A man praised another man in the presence of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. The Prophet said, “Woe to you! You have cut your companion’s neck! You have cut your companion’s neck! If one of you inevitably praises his companion, let him say: I consider him to be good and Allah will hold him accountable.
