    67 The Diverse Faces of Peace You May Not Know

    Peace has many diverse faces — and some of them, you may not know yet. In this episode of Equipped Fellowship, we're uncovering what the faces of peace actually look in day to day life. Spoiler alert: The version of peace Jesus actually promised us in John 14:27, which is nothing like the "everything is calm and going my way" peace the world sells us. We get real about what it's actually looked like for us lately. Things such as surrendering a comfort we didn't want to let go of, choosing peace over a justified frustration, and learning the difference between white-knuckling our way through change and actually resting in God. We talk about why sometimes peace looks like a boundary, a hard conversation, forgiveness, or simply waiting.     66 Prayer: Is It Formula or Is It a Relationship?

    What has prayer actually taught us about God? In this episode of Equipped Fellowship, we get honest about how our prayer life with God has changed, and what happened when we let go of the formula and stopped trying to pray perfectly. For years, we thought prayer had to look a certain way, the right words, the right posture, the right amount of time. But somewhere along this faith journey, we learned that prayer isn't a performance, it's a relationship. It's conversational prayer that happens in the car, at the sink, in the middle of a hard day, not just in a quiet time we're afraid to miss. In this conversation, we talk about what it looks like to keep "connection points" with the Father throughout the day, why childlike faith changes everything about how we approach God, and how letting go of expectations freed us from disappointment in prayer. We also get real about what happens when we stop praying consistently, and how Philippians 4:6-7 and the reminder to "be still and know that I am God" have carried us through seasons of overwhelm. We're unpacking how to tell the difference — and how to trust God when the new direction doesn't come with a map but you know that the pivot is part of God's plant. In this episode of Equipped Fellowship, we get honest about the pivots happening in our own lives right now — a sudden phone call that changed everything, a brand-new job, and the fear that comes with stepping into the unknown. We talk about what it really means to surrender a plan without feeling like you've failed, and we share the anchor verse that kept us grounded when panic tried to take over. We walk through the difference between quitting (which is rooted in self-preservation) and pivoting (which is rooted in what God is asking of us), and we introduce our PIVOT framework — Pause, Investigate, Validate, Open your hands, Trust — along with the opposite pattern we tend to fall into instead: Panic, Interfere, create our own Vision, Oppose, and Turn to other voices. This episode is for any woman standing at a crossroads, wondering if a closed door means she got it wrong, or if it means God is simply asking her to trust the next step.     64² Biblical Boundaries to Help You Keep Your Peace | Overflow Episode

    64 Biblical Boundaries to Help You Keep Your Peace

    Do you secretly feel guilty when saying no? Discover how biblical boundaries can protect your heart and peace and transform your relationships according to God’s word. As Christian women, we are called to love, serve, and carry one another’s burdens. Somewhere along the way, many of us started believing that being a good Christian means always saying yes, never disappointing anyone, and putting everyone else's needs ahead of our own. But when we look at Jesus, we see something very different. He loved everyone perfectly, yet he did not give everyone unlimited access to him. He withdrew, rested, prayed, walked away from crowds, and said no. In this episode, we unpack the main problem many of us face: a lack of boundaries rooted in a fear of rejection, disappointing others, or looking for our identity somewhere else. We reveal how overextending ourselves can lead us to become our own idols, mistakenly thinking we are the source of everyone's answers when God is the only source. We walk through what it looks like to guard your heart (Proverbs 4:23), why trying to be "the source" for everyone is its own form of idolatry, and how Jesus invites us to bring our burdens to Him first (Matthew 11:28-30). We also share four practical "don'ts" for building boundaries that actually hold — from protecting your immediate family to recognizing when outside voices shouldn't get the final say. This conversation is for any sister in faith who struggles with guilt over protecting her time, heart, or family.
