Do I Have an Undiagnosed ADHD Superpower?

Could you live more than five decades without realizing your brain may work differently? In this episode of *Heart to Heart Hangout*, Grace and I have an unscripted conversation that started with one question: **Could I have undiagnosed ADHD?** I started connecting some dots — difficulty concentrating in noisy environments, needing information presented a certain way, getting deeply absorbed in creative projects, struggling to process information in certain situations, and realizing that some of the ways I have learned to function may be more significant than I ever considered. Grace shares from her own experience with ADHD, including being diagnosed as an adult, and what starts as me throwing observations at her turns into a much bigger conversation about creativity, learning, neurodivergence, self-advocacy, patience…and grace. And somewhere along the way, somebody gets convicted enough to apologize. 😂 This is not a diagnosis, and we are not medical professionals trying to diagnose anyone. It is simply an honest conversation about noticing how differently people process the world — and why those differences deserve understanding rather than shame. Sometimes what looks like somebody “not listening,” “not getting it,” or “doing things differently” may have a story behind it that you cannot see. Maybe the bigger takeaway is not whether your brain fits a particular label. Maybe it is learning to understand yourself better — and give other people a little more grace. Welcome to *Heart to Heart Hangout* — real conversations, real laughs, and sometimes a little truth sneaks up on us. #HeartToHeartHangout #ADHD #AdultADHD #Neurodivergent #GiveGrace

We’re Back! Choosing Realness Over Perfection | Heart to Heart Hangout

We’re back—and this time, we’re leaving perfection at the door. Welcome to Heart to Heart Hangout: unedited, unscripted, and completely real. No carefully rehearsed lines. No elaborate production. Just two longtime friends with a brother-and-sister bond, turning on the camera and letting the conversation unfold the same way it would if no one else were listening. Grace kept her bonnet on. Terrence showed up in his undershirt. And somehow, what began as an attempt to test the technology turned into the show. In this conversation, we talk about why people may be hungrier for authenticity than polished presentations, the pressure to look and sound perfect, vulnerability in leadership, and what it means to let people see the person behind the role. We also explore faith, empathy, religious language, and how Jesus met people where they were—including His deeply personal conversation with the woman at the well. He knew her story without using it to shame her. What if more people experienced that same combination of truth, grace, and compassion from us? This is Heart to Heart Hangout. We hope it doesn’t simply feel like you’re watching a show. We hope it feels like you’re hanging out with friends.
