Tottenham - Home and Away Episode 112

Can Spurs finally get their first Premier League win of the season? In this short solo episode of Tottenham – Home and Away, Graeme previews Monday night's crucial home match against Coventry City, looks back at the encouraging signs from the draw at Manchester United, and rounds up the latest news from Roberto De Zerbi's squad. With Tottenham bottom of the Premier League, just three points from six games and only three goals scored, the pressure is mounting. The late equaliser against Manchester United showed some much-needed fight, particularly after Spurs went down to ten men, but now those improvements need to translate into victories. We look at Coventry's recent resurgence under Frank Lampard, including impressive wins against Nottingham Forest and Newcastle, and why this is far from an easy home fixture. There's also news from Tottenham's four-day warm-weather training camp in Marbella, where De Zerbi has been working on fitness, team cohesion and getting his players ready for a crucial run of matches. On the injury front, it's mixed news. Savio and Lucas Bergvall are both ruled out, Pedro Porro remains unavailable, and Bentancur begins his suspension. But there's a major boost with Dejan Kulusevski confirmed to return to the bench, while exciting youngster Luca Williams-Barnett could also be involved. We discuss the potential starting XI, whether Maddison is ready to feature more prominently, and how Spurs can finally turn possession and promising attacking play into goals. With Chelsea away coming next, is Coventry already a must-win game for Roberto De Zerbi? Graeme gives his team selection thoughts and predicts a tense 2-1 Tottenham victory. Tottenham - Home and Away Episode 111

In this episode of Tottenham – Home and Away, Graeme and Glen are joined by Richard Stafford from Auckland Spurs to preview Tottenham’s trip to Manchester United and discuss the wider news around the club. With Spurs finally back after another long international break, we look at whether the pause has helped or hurt Roberto De Zerbi’s squad, the risks of players returning from international duty, and whether the likes of Maddison, Kulusevski, Udogie, Kudus, Van de Ven, Van Hecke, Fernandez, Bergvall, Gallagher, Tel, Marmoush and Solanke could shape the team at Old Trafford. We also dig into Spurs’ poor start, whether there are still visible signs of De Zerbi’s coaching, the issue of confidence in the final third, and why the attacking players badly need to get the goal monkey off their backs. A big part of the episode also focuses on the Manchester City charges, what they mean for the Premier League, how Chelsea changed the transfer market before them, whether Spurs and Manchester United are among the clubs who tried to operate properly, and what punishment would actually protect the integrity of English football. Finally, we give our score predictions for Manchester United vs Spurs, discuss the upcoming Coventry game, and ask whether Spurs are already drifting into dangerous territory if results don’t improve soon. Can Spurs show some fight at Old Trafford — or are we heading deeper into the Redknapp rescue zone? Tottenham Home and Away - Episode 110

The Dynamic Duo are back together on Tottenham – Home and Away as Graeme and Glen return after a few weeks apart — and, naturally, Spurs have given them plenty to talk about. With Tottenham stuck in a long international break, we discuss whether the time away could actually help Roberto De Zerbi’s squad. With players like Maddison, Kulusevski, Kudus, Udogie, Solanke and others staying behind or returning from injury, could this break give Spurs the reset they badly need? We also round up how Tottenham players have got on during international duty, including Marmoush, Mikey Moore, Yang Min-hyeok, Mathys Tel, Fernandez, Archie Gray, Lucas Bergvall, Williams-Barnett, Malachi Hardy and others across the youth teams. There’s also a look ahead to a tough run of fixtures, with Manchester United away, Coventry at home, and Chelsea away coming up — and whether Spurs could find themselves in real trouble if the poor start continues. The second half of the episode focuses on the huge Manchester City verdict, what it could mean for the Premier League, how it affects clubs like Spurs, whether titles should be stripped, what punishment would be fair, and why Chelsea’s financial history should not be forgotten either. We also touch on Pochettino’s comments, Daniel Levy’s possible view, Lee Judges randomly appearing in Dubai, and the latest Harry Kane return clause rumours. Tottenham - Home and Awa Episode 108

In this episode of Tottenham – Home and Away, Glen is joined in Melbourne by returning guest Rossi Biddle and first-time guest Chris Reynolds to pick through Spurs’ worrying start to the season. We discuss the lack of goals, the poor decision-making in the final third, and whether Tottenham’s £400m rebuild has actually made the team better yet. There’s debate around Marmoush, Savio, Mathys Tel, Solanke, and the strange situation with Richarlison, who looks completely out of the first-team picture despite being the one striker most suited to attacking crosses into the box. We also look at the defence after the Forest game: Van de Ven, Van Hecke, Udogie, Porro, Kinsky, and whether Spurs still look too open despite the money spent at the back. The panel ask whether the club has a pathway problem with young players like Lankshear, Scarlett, Parrott, Mikey Moore and Bergvall, and whether Tottenham are selling too early. There’s also plenty on Mudryk, his injury, his past under Roberto De Zerbi, whether the signing was a low-risk punt or another panic move, and whether the squad still lacks creativity with Maddison and Kulusevski unavailable. Finally, we preview the home match against Everton, discuss whether the stadium could turn toxic if Spurs start badly again, and give our score predictions. Three league games, no goals, and pressure already building — can Spurs finally get going? Please like and subscribe for more Spurs chat from both the match-going and international supporters’ view. Tottenham - Home and Away Episode 107

In this episode of Tottenham – Home and Away, Glen is joined by Richard and Hamish from New Zealand Spurs as we try something a little different — bringing in more voices from around the world while Graeme gets a rare 2am rest. The main focus is Tottenham’s transfer window. We discuss the big-money arrivals of Tonali, Fernandez, Van Hecke, Senesi, Robertson, Tosin, Savio, Marmoush and Mudryk, and ask whether Spurs have genuinely backed Roberto De Zerbi — or whether the club ended the window in a bit of a panic. There’s debate over whether Marmoush was the “bomba” signing, whether Spurs still lack a proper number nine, and whether the late moves for Mudryk and Tosin Adarabioyo make sense. We also look at the major outgoings, including Romero, Spence, Vuskovic, Bissouma, Richarlison, and several young players. We then reflect on the worrying start to the season, especially the Newcastle defeat, the mentality issue after going behind, De Zerbi’s challenge to make the new squad click, and whether fans are overreacting after two poor league results. Finally, we preview the trip to Nottingham Forest, discuss team news around Savio, Marmoush, Mudryk and Kulusevski, and give predictions for what already feels like an important early-season match. Can De Zerbi bring this new-look Spurs squad together quickly — or are we in for a few more painful weeks?
