    Newcastle & Sunderland MISERY Returns, Arsenal Win at Anfield! | PL GW9 Review

    Shane and Josh 1 were travelling back to the UK. Newcastle and Sunderland clearly decided to give them absolutely nothing to rush home for. 😭✈️ Dan, Josh 2, Jeff and Andy are back to review all the Premier League Gameweek 9 action — and that brief spell of Newcastle optimism was lovely while it lasted. ⚫⚪ Newcastle lose 1-0 at home to Everton — Thierno Barry gets the winner, Jacob Ramsey gets sent off and last week’s clean sheet and three points already feel a long way away. Welcome home, Shane. 😂 🔴⚪ Sunderland lose 3-1 at Coventry — finally a league goal, unfortunately accompanied by three at the other end. Newcastle and Sunderland fans can now agree on one thing: absolutely nobody wants another trip to Coventry. Elsewhere, we get into: 🔴 Arsenal beat Liverpool 1-0 at Anfield — Kai Havertz scores the winner as the Gunners take top spot. Liverpool’s penalty shout and failure to register a shot on target give us plenty to discuss. 😱 Brighton win 1-0 at Manchester City — Yasin Ayari delivers the blow as City suffer back-to-back league defeats. Seven straight wins followed by two losses. That escalated quickly. 🔵 Chelsea beat Manchester United 2-0 — a much-needed response for Chelsea and another miserable afternoon for United. Halloween really delivered for their supporters. ⚪ Tottenham beat Crystal Palace 2-0 — another win and clean sheet for Spurs, while Palace’s miserable run continues. 🍒 Bournemouth beat Leeds 2-0 — three consecutive league wins without conceding. The Cherries are enjoying themselves! 🐝 Brentford beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 — three points and a clean sheet for the Bees. 🤝 Aston Villa draw 1-1 with Fulham — after beating City, Villa have to settle for a point. 🐯 Hull and Ipswich draw 2-2 — four goals and the points shared. The lads are heading home. The football hasn’t got any kinder.     Newcastle FINALLY Smile, Sunderland Still Blank & Man Utd Hit for THREE! | PL GW8 Review

    Shane leaves the country and Newcastle remember how to win. We’re not saying those things are connected… 😂 Josh 2, Jeff, Dan and Andy take the microphones for our Premier League Gameweek 8 review, with Shane and Josh 1 currently in Denver, Colorado. And there’s plenty to get stuck into! ⚫⚪ Newcastle win 2-0 at Crystal Palace — goals from William Osula and Harvey Barnes, a clean sheet and finally a response after the Coventry and Villa defeats. Shane might have to extend his holiday. 🔴⚪ Sunderland draw 0-0 with Leeds — a point and a clean sheet, but still bottom and now six league games without a win. Brobbey’s big chance, Leeds’ penalty shout and another afternoon without a Sunderland goal. Can someone remind them where the net is? 😭 Elsewhere, we get into: 🍒 Bournemouth batter Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford — Bruno Fernandes dropped, eight games without a win in all competitions and the pressure piling onto Michael Carrick. Bournemouth have enjoyed playing our clubs these last two weekends… 🦁 Aston Villa beat Manchester City 2-1 — Nicolas Jackson scores twice to end City’s perfect league start. Turns out Villa weren’t just saving it for Newcastle! ⚪ Tottenham win 2-0 at Chelsea — a Mike Penders own goal, Cole Palmer sent off and Mathys Tel finishing the job. Quite a way for Chelsea’s afternoon to fall apart. 🔴 Liverpool beat Brighton 2-0 — after putting five past Palace last week, Brighton find Anfield a very different proposition. 💪 Arsenal beat Everton 2-0 — another win and another clean sheet as City finally drop points. ⚫⚪ Fulham win 1-0 at Coventry — back-to-back 1-0 victories. Newcastle fans, look away from that Coventry result. 🤝 Hull draw 1-1 with Brentford, while Ipswich and Nottingham Forest also finish 1-1. Newcastle relief. Sunderland frustration.     They made a living defending their goal. Now the lads have to defend their rankings. 😂 Rank & Reveal is back, and this time we’re tackling one of football’s biggest debates: who is the greatest Premier League centre-back of all time? Ten centre-backs. Ten places. And plenty of opportunities to realise you’ve made a terrible mistake. 😬 📋 Here’s how it works: The players are revealed one at a time, and the lads must give each one a position from 10th to 1st. The catch? Once a player is locked in, there’s no moving them. Do you fill that number one spot early, or hold it back in case someone even better is still to come?     Chelsea v Spurs, Brighton Flying & PLEASE Win Newcastle! | PL GW8 Predictions with LEBOM

    Another week, another set of predictions — and after last weekend, we’d quite like Newcastle and Sunderland to remember how scoring goals works. 😭 The lads are back with LEBOM to predict every Premier League Gameweek 8 fixture, picking winners, calling scorelines and deciding where the surprises might come from. There’s a London derby, a tricky test for Liverpool and two North East clubs who owe us a considerably better weekend… On the agenda: 🔥 Chelsea v Tottenham — Chelsea have scored seven in their last two league games. Can Spurs put a stop to their winning run, or is Stamford Bridge going to be another painful away day? 🦅 Liverpool v Brighton — after putting FIVE past Palace, Brighton head to Anfield. Can they carry that confidence into another big result, or will Liverpool bring them back down to earth? ⚫⚪ Crystal Palace v Newcastle — Palace lost 5-0. Newcastle lost at home to Villa. Someone has to respond… although a miserable draw would be very on-brand for this fixture after those weekends. 😬 🔴⚪ Sunderland v Leeds — back at the Stadium of Light after another defeat without scoring. Can Sunderland finally give their fans something to celebrate? 🏆 Aston Villa v Manchester City — Villa beat Newcastle last time out, while City came through a 3-2 game against Ipswich.     Newcastle & Sunderland MISERY, Brighton Smash FIVE! | PL GW7 Review

    Two clubs. Two defeats. Not a single goal between them. What a lovely weekend to record a football podcast. 😭 Shane is joined by Jeff, Dan and Josh 2 to go through the Premier League’s Gameweek 7 action — and Newcastle and Sunderland have certainly given us plenty to complain about! ⚫⚪ Newcastle lose 1-0 at home to Aston Villa — after the Coventry disaster, we were hoping for a response. Preferably one that involved scoring a goal and getting some points. 🔴⚪ Sunderland go down 2-0 at Bournemouth — another blank, another defeat and another weekend to forget. At least neither side can enjoy the other’s misery without being reminded of their own. 😂 Can we just bring the international break back? Elsewhere, we get into: 🖐️ Brighton batter Crystal Palace 5-0 — imagine waiting all week for your rivalry game and THAT happening 🔵 Man City beat Ipswich 3-2 — five goals at the Etihad and a much closer scoreline than City fans would have wanted 🔴 Liverpool win 2-1 at Brentford — three points to help put last week’s City defeat behind them 💪 Chelsea beat Everton 2-0 — back-to-back wins and a clean sheet this time 🤝 Leeds and Manchester United draw 1-1 — honours even at Elland Road 🌳 Arsenal edge past Nottingham Forest 1-0 — another three points for the Gunners 🐯 Fulham beat Hull 1-0 at Craven Cottage Goals elsewhere.
