    82. ♟️Defaulting to Yesterday's Methods

👉 Get "The Provider" weekly newsletter for more insights at https://theprovider.io 🎙️This episode focuses on not relying on yesterday’s methods just because they worked before. In Numbers 20, Moses repeated an old method instead of following God’s new instructions, reminding us that success doesn’t always mean we’re doing things God’s way. The key message is: trust God over familiarity. Methods and circumstances change, but God’s character remains the same. In business, we should keep our systems while staying open to new direction and asking God, “How would You have me proceed?” This week, take a routine part of your work and pray about whether it’s still the best way forward. 👉 Subscribe to "The Provider" newsletter for more insights at https://theprovider.io

    81. 🌊 Why some people thrive no matter what

👉 Get "The Provider" weekly newsletter for more insights at https://theprovider.io We talk about how Psalm 112 teaches us that a life rooted in God can remain steady even when circumstances change. When we trust and worship God, He shapes us to become generous, gracious, courageous, and full of integrity. Daniel is an example of this kind of faith; he stayed faithful to God even under pressure. The key message is: you become like what you worship. This week, when something goes wrong, pause, pray, and respond with the stability and trust that come from knowing God is in control. 👉 Subscribe to "The Provider" newsletter for more insights at https://theprovider.io

    79. 🫥 Does your "work" even matter to God?

👉 Get "The Provider" weekly newsletter for more insights at https://theprovider.io This episode explores how many Christian entrepreneurs carry a quiet sense that their business isn't as spiritual as church work and where that idea actually comes from: it's Plato, not the Bible. It walks through how Greek philosophy split the world into "sacred" and "secular," and how that thinking snuck into Christians' views of work over the centuries. Then it flips that around and looks at what Scripture actually says: that work was part of God's design from the beginning, that it's a form of worship, and that your business can be just as sacred as a sermon. It also brings in Martin Luther, who said a shoemaker serves God by making good shoes, not by putting little crosses on them, and closes with a challenge to see your business a little differently. 👉 Subscribe to "The Provider" newsletter for more insights at https://theprovider.io

    78. Honey from the rock?

👉 Get "The Provider" weekly newsletter for more insights at https://theprovider.io This episode talks about those dry, hard seasons in business and in life the times when you're doing everything right, showing up, staying faithful, but the ground still feels hard. It looks at Psalm 81:16, where God promises to satisfy His people with "honey from the rock," and explains how finding wild honey in the desert was rare and unexpected back then — a picture of God bringing sweetness into the places you'd least expect it. It also talks about John the Baptist, who lived about as simply as it gets and still lacked nothing, and why hard seasons aren't always a sign something's wrong; sometimes they're exactly where God is building something in you. It wraps up with how to spot the "honey" when it shows up, and how you might be the answer to someone else's hard season. 👉 Subscribe to "The Provider" newsletter for more insights at https://theprovider.io
