The Sad State of Sports – A PJH Classic Rant!

Got something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode! Ever wonder what happens when a legendary podcaster is left completely unsupervised? With his trusty sidekick Frankie T—and his world-famous Paulie tranquilizing dart gun—out sick, Paul John Hausleben is off the leash! Get ready for a hilariously unfiltered, one-man rant about the absolute circus that is the modern sports world. PJH kicks things off by airing all his grievances with the NFL, including a deep dive into the heartbreaking weekly soap opera that is his beloved New York Jets. From wild conspiracy theories about scripted games and baffling referee behavior to over-the-top penalties and questionable coaching choices, and ridiculous player behaviors, Paulie leaves no stone unturned. Next up, he takes a swing at Major League Baseball, mourning the Yankees' early playoff exit and explaining why modern analytics might just be ruining America's pastime. Finally, he jets across the pond to tackle the Premier League—specifically wondering why it's taking longer to sort out Manchester City’s legendary 114 -115 charges than it takes to watch a Lord of the Rings trilogy. Whether you're a die-hard sports fanatic or just here for the pure comedic chaos, PJH's mix of passion, logic, and pure frustration makes for an absolute must-listen. Got something to say to this podcast? Send a voicemail, and you might hear yourself on the next episode! Paul John Hausleben introduces a new series to the now legendary God Bless the Keg Publishing LLC podcast. Review! Where #27, AKA Paul John, uses his passion, and his expertise to dissect and slice and dice music recordings into the nuances that other music critics miss. And along the way, PJH detours into side rants, conversations, and his usual fun and humor until he finally gets to the main subject at hand! That is part of the fun and magic! This is not a general overview or a casual rating of a music recording; this is music surgery! PJH brings the listeners in-depth into the recording, and his passion unleashes what the listener might not notice or appreciate. In this first episode of Review! PJH reviews, track-by-track, the brand-new album Drama by Nicole Atkins. Yet that does not stop PJH from being a critic of the recording. As is typical of Paul John Hausleben, he is a New Jersey guy through and through. And factual to a flaw. This episode clearly displays why Paul John Hausleben is not only the well-respected and charismatic host of the God Bless the Keg Publishing LLC podcast, but he is a genuine music critic, who expertly researches and prepares for a music review of an artist’s work and seriously reviews the music with the utmost care and professionalism.
