    In this adventurous episode, we share the incredible journey of our ministry receiving a grant for a brand-new ministry truck—an essential step that allows us to safely and properly tow our mobile shower trailer and expand services to those who need them most. What seemed like a straightforward blessing quickly turned into an adventure filled with unexpected challenges, delays, and moments where it felt like the enemy was trying to block the path.  But every obstacle became a reminder that God’s plans are bigger than any setback. Along the way, we witnessed how faith, perseverance, and prayer carried us through each test. What looked like roadblocks were actually opportunities for growth—moments where God was shaping us, strengthening our trust, and preparing the ministry for greater impact.  Join us as we reflect on the ups and downs of this journey, the lessons learned in the waiting, and how God turned every challenge into a testimony.     E33: From Church Seats to Serving in the Streets

    What happens the first time you step out of the church seats and onto the streets to serve the homeless?  In this raw and deeply personal episode, this group shares unfiltered reflections from their first mission trip serving people experiencing homelessness. They went in thinking they were bringing help. They left realizing they were receiving something far greater.  We talk about the awkwardness, the fear, the assumptions we didn’t know we had—and the moment those walls came down. The conversations that caught us off guard. The laughter we didn’t expect. The eye contact that changed everything. The realization that the people we met aren’t “the homeless.” They are fathers, mothers, veterans, artists, dreamers—human beings with stories, humor, heartbreak, and dignity.  This episode isn’t polished. It’s honest.  We wrestle with the uncomfortable truth that homelessness is not a distant issue—it’s a growing crisis happening in our own communities. And charity alone isn’t enough. If we’re going to address homelessness in a meaningful way, we have to start seeing people differently. Listening differently. Acting differently.  These are the reflections that changed us.  Because once you know someone’s name, once you hear their story, you can’t look away.  It’s time to rethink how we show up.
