Join us as we put male dominated sports under the microscope to find out what’s really going on in local land. Is the growth of women’s sport truly a sign of deep change in these historically male spaces, or is there something less genuine lurking beneath the surface?     Not All Special Rounds

    In this episode of Not All Clubs, Not All Special Rounds, we’re talking about inclusion - or at least the vestige of something that once resembled it. TW: Suicide is discussed in this episode and there is coarse language throughout. ANZAC, Pride, First Nations… these rounds are meant to honour connection, community, and respect. But too often, they end up feeling like a photo op where those very groups (and the women’s teams) are side-lined, forgotten, or handed the leftovers. We’re hearing your stories, unpacking the token gestures, and asking: what does real inclusion look like when the lights go out and the jumpers come off?     Not All Uniforms

    Welcome to Episode 4 of Not All Cubs – Not All Uniforms.  This time, we’re talking uniforms. The ones that don’t fit, show up halfway through the season, or clearly weren’t made with everyone in mind. Jumpers that ride up, shorts that don’t sit right, “unisex” cuts that are just men’s sizes with a new label. Meanwhile, the men’s teams have home, away, and heritage kits sorted — all fitting like a glove with preferred numbers to boot.  So where does the problem start — with the suppliers, the league, the clubs? And why does it keep falling on players to just deal with it? We’re unpacking the system behind the gear, and asking: is this really the best we can do?     Not All Fixtures

    In this episode of Not All Clubs, Not All Fixtures, we’re calling out the chaos that is the fixture — and how it keeps women’s teams at the bottom of the priority pile.  Games are moved last-minute. Schedules clash with major events. Fixtures change week to week with no explanation. And somehow, women's teams are always the ones who have to adapt.  We talk about what it feels like when your team’s not given a consistent slot, a fair go, or even the courtesy of being considered.     Not All Oval Space

    Join the Not All Clubs team for our pilot episode, Not All Oval Space, as we share your stories and discuss the ongoing issues of greenspace at Community Clubs. Are you training in the dark? Shipped off to a second oval across town? Do you get shunted over to the cricket nets whenever the men want the full oval? We also look at potential responses from the club around the cries of 'the men have been here longer' and 'the C Grade don't get space either!' So, are the ongoing issues due to lack of space, poor scheduling or is there something more sinister lurking in the background? You be the judge.
