The Believers Walk: Biblical Marriage Roles (Ephesians 5:22-33) [Audio]

LifePoint Baptist Church Pastor Jarrod Stotmeister lpforme.com Sunday Morning Sermon Title: The Believers Walk Date: February 15, 2026 Passage: Ephesians 5:22-33 In this message from Ephesians, Pastor Jarrod Stotmeister teaches on the believer's walk in marriage. Wives are called to submit to their husbands as to the Lord, while husbands are commanded to love their wives sacrificially, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it. This passage reveals the profound mystery of marriage as a picture of Christ and His church. Ephesians 5:22-33 22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.

That's Not Fair: When Life Hits You When You're Down (2 Samuel 21:1-7) [Audio]

LifePoint Baptist Church Pastor Jarrod Stotmeister lpforme.com Wednesday Night Sermon Title: That's Not Fair: When Life Hits You When You're Down Date: February 11, 2026 Passage: 2 Samuel 21:1-7 When life seems to pile on hardship after hardship, it's easy to cry "That's not fair!" In this message, Pastor Jarrod Stotmeister examines David's experience during a three-year famine, revealing how God sometimes brings consequences from past wrongs to light—even years later. Learn how seeking God in tough times leads to truth, repentance, and restoration rather than bitterness. 2 Samuel 21:1-7 1 Then there was a famine in the days of David three years, year after year; and David enquired of the LORD. And the LORD answered, It is for Saul, and for his bloody house, because he slew the Gibeonites. 2 And the king called the Gibeonites, and said unto them; (now the Gibeonites were not of the children of Israel, but of the remnant of the Amorites; and the children of Israel had sworn unto them: and Saul sought to slay them in his zeal to the children of Israel and Judah.) 3 Wherefore David said unto the Gibeonites, What shall I do for you? and wherewith shall I make the atonement, that ye may bless the inheritance of the LORD? 4 And the Gibeonites said unto him, We will have no silver nor gold of Saul, nor of his house; neither for us shalt thou kill any man in Israel. And he said, What ye shall say, that will I do for you. 5 And they answered the king, The man that consumed us, and that devised against us that we should be destroyed from remaining in any of the coasts of Israel, 6 Let seven men of his sons be delivered unto us, and we will hang them up unto the LORD in Gibeah of Saul, whom the LORD did choose. And the king said, I will give them. 7 But the king spared Mephibosheth, the son of Jonathan the son of Saul, because of the LORD'S oath that was between them, between David and Jonathan the son of Saul.

The 7 Irrefutable Laws of Receiving/Rejecting Jesus (cont) (Matthew 2:13-23) [Audio]

LifePoint Baptist Church Pastor Jarrod Stotmeister lpforme.com Sunday Evening Sermon Title: The 7 Irrefutable Laws of Receiving/Rejecting Jesus (cont) Date: January 25, 2026 Passage: Matthew 2:13-23 In this continuation, Pastor Jarrod Stotmeister preaches from Matthew 2:13-23, showing how Joseph received God's word and obeyed, while Herod fully rejected the King through violence. These events reveal more of the seven irrefutable laws that shape every person's response to Jesus. Trust God's guidance and reject the path of rebellion. Matthew 2:13-23 13 And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him. 14 When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt: 15 And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son. 16 Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently inquired of the wise men. 17 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying, 18 In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not. 19 But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, 20 Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child's life. 21 And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel. 22 But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee: 23 And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.

The 7 Irrefutable Laws of Receiving/Rejecting Jesus (Matthew 2:1-12) [Audio]

LifePoint Baptist Church Pastor Jarrod Stotmeister lpforme.com Sunday Morning Sermon Title: The 7 Irrefutable Laws of Receiving/Rejecting Jesus Date: January 25, 2026 Passage: Matthew 2:1-12 Join Pastor Jarrod Stotmeister as he opens Matthew 2 with the account of the wise men's journey and Herod's fearful reaction. This message unpacks the seven irrefutable laws that determine whether a heart receives or rejects Jesus Christ—laws that remain true today. May we respond like the wise men: with worship, gifts, and obedience. Matthew 2:1-12 1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, 2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him. 3 When Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. 4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he demanded of them where Christ should be born. 5 And they said unto him, In Bethlehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, 6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel. 7 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared. 8 And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also. 9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood over where the young child was. 10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy. 11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense and myrrh. 12 And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.
