    Episode 10: Lover of People The Love Hertz Pod is back after yet another totally unannounced break; but this time we mean it when we say we’re here to stay (for good, probably). In this episode, we sit down with Andrew: A father, public speaker, and self described lover of people. Andrew and Kat go way back. They first crossed paths at a religion-based facility for teens. Decades later, they reconnected so that Andrew could come talk with us about what love has looked like through every season of his life. Andrew opens up about what love looked like growing up, how it changed through his time in the religious community, and how it’s shifted again through divorce, remarriage, and finally finding something that feels like real love. We also get to hear a bit more of Katrina’s backstory in this one too (which we know you’ve been waiting for). We talk about what it was like for him to receive a late-in-life diagnosis, how that opened the door to deeper self-understanding, and why revisiting old grief has been such an important part of his healing process. Derek shares his story; a traumatic accident that changed his life and the ripple affect it had on how he sees the world himself and the people closest to him. We talk about the fragility and strength of the human experience: being cared for in a moment of crisis, finding love in the little things and learning the ways that our bodies express emotions  Sjeli opens up about acting in an emergency in the past and reflect on a time when love literally took her breath away. From waking up in a nightmare to exactly the hero he needed, from marching to your own drum or being held and understood when you need it most, this episode is full of surprises, vulnerability, tenderness, and gratitude.
