    Mom, Your Feelings Might Be Costing You More Than You Think - Wall of Evidence Pt. 5

    This week on the Activate Your Destiny podcast, I’m sharing the story behind my Cornell University certification… and how close I came to missing it simply because I wasn’t in the mood. In this final episode of the Wall of Evidence series, I take you into a season where I was already stretched as a mom, building something new, trying to figure out my identity, and honestly just tired. The last thing I felt like doing was showing up for something else. But God had something waiting for me on the other side of that “I don’t feel like it” moment. This isn’t just about an opportunity. It’s about obedience when it’s inconvenient. It’s about trusting God when you don’t feel ready, don’t have the capacity, and don’t fully understand what He’s doing. As moms, we carry a lot. And sometimes the very thing God is calling us to will show up in the middle of an already full life.     God Said Leave...So Why Did This Happen Next?

    This is the part nobody talks about… especially as a mom. Everyone will tell you to trust God, take the leap, and walk in obedience. But what happens when you actually do it… and everything gets more confusing? At the time, I wasn’t just working a job. I was a full-time working mom, a wife, building a business, managing daycare, sick days, schedules, and trying to be everything for everybody. And even though I was doing everything right… Something still felt off. In this episode, I’m sharing the real story behind me leaving my job. Not the highlight version. In this episode of the Wall of Evidence series, I’m breaking down another frame behind me — my makeup certification — and the season where God began showing me that beauty alone wasn’t the answer. Because the truth is: You can put on the cutest outfit. You can do your makeup perfectly. But if your identity isn’t found… what is it really covering? This episode is about the moment I realized I had to start pouring into myself again — not just on the outside, but on the inside too. I thought the cap and gown would bring clarity. It didn’t. Instead, I found myself wrestling with identity, faith, and the quiet fear that maybe I was behind. This episode is about what God’s grace really looked like in that season. Grace wasn’t instant clarity. Grace wasn’t rescue. Grace was room. Room to grow. Room to mature. Room to figure it out.
