Tick Tock! Time Waits for No Woman.

Send us Fan Mail The Life Chat: Turning 50, Big Birthday Highs, and the Soluna Concierge Relaunch We’re back around the table for another Life Chat — catching up after being ridiculously busy, talking about turning 50, big birthday celebrations, getting older and that slightly confronting feeling of being halfway through life. But hey, getting older is a privilege, right? We chat about the highs (and the comedown) of turning 50, including Bali, Japanese food at Hibiki Yakiniku, drinks at Bar Bar, a Michael Jackson night at the Rhino Room and meeting the very memorable Jake Callisto. Then there’s Lauren’s disco-themed 50th, complete with a winery day and a pretty epic afterparty. Cassie is also back with the relaunch of Soluna, her personal concierge service for all those jobs, errands and life admin that you either don’t have time for, don’t want to do, or simply need a hand getting organised. We talk about everything from decluttering and moving to event planning, outsourcing, workspace wins and why sometimes you just need to ask for help. Then there’s a little skincare chat, some naturopathy, OmMade, the health benefits of eating carrots, plus a wander into the world of small business, alternative therapies and the people and businesses we’ve been discovering lately. We also get into EcoPlay Farm, Kenny and play therapy, and the very cute Guinea Pig Hotel, before dreaming about our wellness getaway in November to Trentham and Daylesford involving mineral & forest bathing, tai chi, clean food, no booze and time to reset. We finish up talking about future Life Chat guests, listener topics and where we might take things next. Another big, random, honest catch-up covering birthdays, business, life admin, wellness, food, getting older and all the stuff in between. Even The Aliens Aren’t Judging Us This Hard

Send us Fan Mail Conspiracy Chats, Alien Encounters, Missing Bible Books, and Why Our Kids Judge Us More Than Their Dad This week on TLC, things go completely off the rails in the best way possible. Tina, Lauren and Cassie dive headfirst into conspiracy territory, starting with Michael Jackson memories before somehow landing on aliens, UFO sightings, Project Blue Beam, missing books of the Bible, pineal glands, and your own children judging your life choices. Cassie shares her latest conspiracy rabbit hole around Project Blue Beam, the theory that a staged alien invasion could be used to create mass fear and global control, while Tina and Cassie swap their own strange UFO stories, including unexplained lights, family encounters, and a very confusing Starlink moment. There’s also chat about the Book of Enoch, “speaking in tongues,” hidden Bible books, and why every conspiracy somehow ends up connected. Then the conversation takes a sharp TLC turn into parenting realities, spontaneous tattoos, midlife crises, and why mums seem to get judged way harder than dads ever do. The episode wraps up with sneaky teenage memories, Life360 tracking, and the realisation that maybe our parents deserved apologies after all. Basically, if you’ve ever gone from deep conspiracy theories to embarrassing parenting stories in the same conversation, this episode will feel very familiar. Michael Jackson: The King They Couldn't Cancel

Send us Fan Mail We are ready for what’s being called a global moment of healing by playing Jackson’s “Heal The World” for its full 6:25 duration. https://www.instagram.com/heal.the.world.25june26/  The global moment of unity and tribute is planned for June 25, 2026, at 2:26 pm (Los Angeles time), which is Jackson’s day and time of death. A post circulating through the fan pages reads: “On June 25, 2026, at 14:26 PDT, time zones vanish. At the exact second the world lost Michael Jackson, we bring him back to birth his dream.” Michael Jackson Is Everywhere Again... But Did He Ever Really Leave? One minute we're scrolling social media, the next we're down a full-blown Michael Jackson rabbit hole. And judging by the millions of views, comments, reaction videos and MJ content flooding our feeds, we're not the only ones. In this episode of TLC: The Life Chat, we ask the important questions: Why is the world suddenly obsessed with Michael Jackson again? Was he simply ahead of his time? And why do so many of his songs feel like they were written for today's headlines? From Heal the World and Man in the Mirror to They Don't Care About Us, we unpack the messages hidden in plain sight and discuss why Michael's music seems to be resonating with a whole new generation. Of course, we couldn't talk about Michael without diving into the controversies. We revisit the allegations, the 2005 trial, media coverage, celebrity testimonies, and the stories many fans believe never received the same attention as the accusations themselves. Along the way we chat about: • Whether Jaafar Jackson has actually channelled his uncle • The Tommy Mottola and Sony feud • Banned lyrics and misunderstood songs • Moonwalker and the deeper themes (see links to some of his other short films below) • Neverland, animals, children and why Michael created a world of his own • Unreleased tracks and forgotten gems from the catalogue • Theories, rumours and questions surrounding Michael's death • Why so many people are rediscovering his message of healing, compassion and unity Whether you're a lifelong fan, a casual listener, or someone wondering why your social media feed suddenly looks like it's 1988 again, this episode is a nostalgic, thought-provoking and occasionally cheeky deep dive into the King of Pop. Because love him or question him, one thing is certain... Michael Jackson still knows how to get people talking.   Chapters 00:00 – Saving the Children Before It Was Trending 00:37 – The Scroll That Turned Into An MJ Obsession 02:02 – Why We Think The World Needs A Bit More Michael 03:04 – Lyrics That Hit Different In 2026 05:40 – How The First Allegations Started 08:12 – The Trial, The Verdict & The Headlines 08:39 – Corey Feldman Enters The Chat 10:08 – Aaron Carter's Story 11:57 – Jaafar Jackson: Wait... Tall Poppies and Tesla: How Lauren Missed Her Chance to Meet Elon Musk

Send us Fan Mail Money, mindset, jealousy, freedom, tall poppy syndrome, business risk, Instagram anxiety, Elon Musk, lotto dreams and late-night van chats. This episode goes everywhere, and somehow ties it all together. Recorded late at night in the van outside Burnside Village, Tina, Lauren and Cassie dive into the weird stigma Australians still have around money and success. Why do we downplay nice things? Why do people feel the need to justify buying a new car or putting in a pool? And why are we so worried about what other people think? The conversation gets real about money blocks, fear around becoming “too successful”, and how tall poppy syndrome keeps people playing small. They unpack small business pressure, debt, risk-taking, COVID-era fear cycles, and the idea that money itself isn’t evil, it simply gives people options and freedom. There are also some unexpectedly personal stories, including how one family’s financial turning point came from pouring the concrete slab for Australia’s first Tesla battery, and a missed opportunity to meet Elon Musk himself. Mostly though, this episode is about friendship, gratitude, dreaming bigger, and backing yourself unapologetically. If you’ve ever felt guilty for wanting more, struggled with money mindset, or worried what people might think of your success, this one’s for you. In this episode: Tall poppy syndrome and why Australians downplay successThe fear of becoming “an a*****e” if you make moneySmall business risk, debt and financial pressureCOVID, fear narratives and protecting your mindsetWhy money is really just a “value holder”Gratitude during hard seasons of lifeWealth, freedom and creating optionsJealousy, friendships and social media validationSupporting the people you love without competitionLetting go of shame around successFavourite quote: “Money doesn’t buy happiness, but it bloody buys you options.”Timestamps 00:00 Late night chaos in the van 01:08 Money stigma and “rich” suburbs 03:43 Tall poppy syndrome and downplaying success 05:00 Elon Musk, X and open conversations 06:02 The Tesla battery story and big business break 07:52 Small business pressure and tax frustrations 10:57 Fear cycles, COVID and protecting your energy 13:21 Money as a token and changing your mindset 16:28 Mortality, debt and security 17:22 Gratitude through hard times 19:22 Lotto dreams and helping loved ones 20:45 Why money gives you options 21:39 Knowing future wealth is coming 22:17 Growing up without much 23:39 Pricing your work properly to help more people 26:22 Money blocks, jealousy and self-worth 28:19 Instagram likes, validation and overthinking 32:04 Cheerleaders, real friendship and success without apology Support the show Laughing with us? Supernatural Chats in Adelaide Arcade

Send us Fan Mail Freaky Friday at Adelaide Arcade Ghost stories, gut feelings & clearing the heavy stuff This week on TLC The Life Chat, we went full spooky mode and honestly, we’re still not over it. On a Friday night inside Adelaide Arcade, we found ourselves deep in conversation about the paranormal and the energy felt very real. From haunted history to personal experiences that gave us chills, this chat took a turn we didn’t expect (but secretly loved). We unpack the Arcade’s eerie reputation, including the story of a resident spirit linked to a tragic accident in one of South Australia’s first electrified buildings. From there, we explore the idea that spirits exist on different “frequencies,” and what that could mean for intuition, déjà vu, and those moments that feel a little too coincidental. And then something happened... While Tina was sharing a hospital story, Cassie suddenly felt a chill come over her. At the exact same moment, both her and Lauren stopped and turned  because they felt something. Even stranger, they both saw something despite the space being empty. Things get more personal as we share real-life encounters from unsettling house-sitting experiences to a haunting in a Hindmarsh Island rental that escalated from electrical glitches to something far more confronting. Think moving objects, unseen presences, and a child sensing what no one else could ignore. We also explore:  Whether your energy can attract certain experiences   The line between spirituality and fear  Reincarnation, premonitions & gut feelings  Sleep paralysis vs something more  Ways people try to clear negative energy  There’s also a powerful reflection on what happens after the fear returning to calm, love, and feeling safe again. Because while this episode leans into the spooky, it’s also about understanding, protection, and trusting yourself. Whether you’re a skeptic, a believer, or somewhere in between this one will get you thinking. Scents & Making Sense of Menopause

Send us Fan Mail Recording outdoors in Glenelg (with a few distractions, dogs, babies and all), we dive into a topic we keep coming back to, fragrance. From that moment when perfume hits the back of your throat, to public toilets that feel like a full chemical assault, we’re talking about how scent isn’t just a preference, it’s something we’re often exposed to without a choice. A bit like secondhand smoke. We unpack what’s actually hiding behind the word “fragrance” or “parfum”, and why it can be hundreds of undisclosed chemicals, including hormone-disrupting compounds. It’s not just perfume either, it’s in cleaning products, candles, skincare, tissues, air fresheners, basically everywhere. We also talk about how sensitivity can shift over time, especially during perimenopause and menopause, and why that might not be a bad thing. This leads into a bigger conversation around menopause itself. What if it’s not something to fix, but a natural transition into a new phase of life? One where women step into more clarity, stronger boundaries, and the role of the “wise woman”. We chat about the pressure to mask symptoms, the rise of HRT (and why it works for some but isn’t the only option), and the importance of actually supporting the body instead of overriding it. There are also plenty of practical ideas, from simple natural cleaning swaps to creating your own home scents without the chemical load, and how small changes can make a big difference over time. As always, we’re not about perfection. Just awareness, options, and having real conversations. Shall We Lose the Booze?

Send us Fan Mail Shall We Lose the Booze? We’re sitting in our “new office” in North Adelaide, bras nearly off, admin finally done, drinks in hand… and asking ourselves a slightly uncomfortable question. Should we lose the booze? After a summer of Christmas, New Year, barbecues and every excuse under the Aussie sun to have “just a couple”, we found ourselves circling something we’ve all been quietly thinking about for a while. We grew up around drinking. We started young. It was normal. It was culture. It was sport, pubs, social clubs and country boredom. It was reward, celebration, coping mechanism, confidence booster and sometimes… escape. But now we’re 50-ish. If we want to live to 100, are we heading in the right direction? In this episode we talk about: • being “functioning” but still questioning our habits  • self-medicating and the truth about hangxiety  • why non-alcoholic options just don’t hit the same  • the generational shift, and why our kids aren’t interested  • social pressure, slushie machines and poolside cocktails  • health hypocrisy, clean skincare but Aperol spritz  • whether moderation is realistic, or if it’s all or nothing There’s no big declaration. No dramatic pact. Just three women, midlife, mid-thought process, having an honest conversation about something that’s woven into our culture and our friendship. We don’t have the answers. But we are asking the question. And maybe that’s the start. Support the show Laughing with us? Learning with us? Cassie: The C in TLC — Holding it Together with Duct Tape

Send us Fan Mail This episode is a big one — and not the polished, highlight-reel version of life. It’s the real stuff. In this deeply personal conversation, Cassie opens up about one of the most intense periods of her life, diving head-first into mental health, depression, and suicide prevention. From feeling like she didn’t quite belong as a kid (turns out that wasn’t just teenage angst), to becoming a mum very young, navigating marriage, motherhood, chronic stress, and multiple rounds of depression — this episode traces the long, messy, very human road that led to her darkest moment… and what brought her back. Cassie shares what it actually feels like to fall apart while still showing up — going to work, paying bills, looking “fine” on the outside while everything inside is screaming. She talks about the near-breakdown that forced her to finally say the words out loud, the people who stepped in when she couldn’t stand anymore, and the uncomfortable truth that sometimes staying alive is a day-by-day decision. This isn’t a “just think positive” episode. It’s about speaking up, asking for help (even when it feels impossible), and understanding that falling apart doesn’t mean you’re broken — it means you’re human. There are tears, hard truths, dark moments… and yes, a bit of Cassie humour along the way, because sometimes you either laugh or you lose it completely. If you’ve ever felt like you’re holding everything together with duct tape, this one’s for you. And if you’re in the thick of it right now — please know this: you are not weak, you are not alone, and this story is proof that even when everything collapses, there is another side. Content warning: This episode discusses mental health, depression, and suicidal ideation. Please listen with care.
