  1. From Old Ways To A New Identity In Christ

From Old Ways To A New Identity In Christ

What if your past no longer had the last word—and your future wasn’t powered by willpower, but by grace that trains you? We take a clear, Scripture-first journey through what it really means to have an identity in Christ and why that identity changes how we live today, not someday. From Titus to Ephesians to Galatians, we unpack how the gospel does more than forgive; it reshapes desires, renews the mind, and sets a new course. We start with the heart of the gospel—Jesus humbling Himself, dying, and rising—and show how grace appears to all people and teaches us to deny old cravings and live upright, godly lives in the present age. Then we move to Paul’s call to “walk worthy,” putting off the old self formed by deceitful desires and putting on the new self created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. No more victim scripts, no more “that’s just who I am.” In Christ, the old has passed away; behold, the new has come. From there, we answer the big question: how do we actually walk by the Spirit? Leaning on John 14, Acts 2, Ephesians 1, and Galatians 3, we explain how the Holy Spirit indwells believers—not by perfect behavior but by repentance and faith—and becomes our Helper who teaches, reminds, and empowers. We contrast the works of the flesh with the fruit of the Spirit, exploring practical markers of transformation like love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, and self-control. Finally, we connect identity to mission: love God, love your neighbor, and share the gospel with courage and clarity. God’s plans are better than ours, and He equips what He calls. 2. God Stepped Into Our Story To Save Us

    JAN 23

God Stepped Into Our Story To Save Us

Ever felt like you’re walking through struggle alone? We share why the God who made you also stepped into your story, took on real temptation, and now meets you with mercy instead of distance. Drawing from Hebrews 4, we explore Jesus as our great high priest who knows our weakness firsthand and invites us to draw near with confidence for timely help. We start by grounding the human story in Genesis—formed in God’s image, fractured by sin, and living with the fallout we all see in greed, violence, and despair. Then we shift to the heart of the gospel: Colossians 1 and Philippians 2 reveal who Jesus is—the image of the invisible God who humbled Himself, became a servant, and reconciled all things through the cross. John 3:16–17 reframes the mission: not condemnation, but love that gives life. That’s why empty pleasures can’t heal us, and why grace is more than comfort; it’s power to forgive, restore, and transform. We also get practical. Acts 2:38–39 and Romans 10:9–11 outline a clear response—repent, be baptized, believe, confess Jesus as Lord—and we talk about the gift of the Holy Spirit who renews us daily. For the battle with temptation, 1 Corinthians 10:13 offers a way of escape, and Romans 6 calls us to live free from what harms us. Along the way, we share a personal update and invite you to our midweek English service, because this journey is better in community. 3. Called To Produce For God’s Kingdom

    12/19/2025

Called To Produce For God’s Kingdom

What if your daily life is already the mission field you’ve been asking God to reveal? We unpack a clear, urgent call: God expects His people to produce fruit—tangible outcomes that bless others and point back to Jesus. Through the parable of the minas, we look at trust, effort and accountability, and why even small faithful steps matter more than perfect plans. The warning is honest—neglect has consequences—but the invitation is full of hope: ask for what you need, and the Father will equip you for the work He’s given you. We talk about using whatever you have—your job, your studies, your family, your platform—to serve with courage and clarity. You’ll hear how Luke 13’s barren fig tree reveals both God’s patience and a deadline for change, why John 15 insists that we were chosen to bear fruit that remains, and how Colossians 1 frames a life that walks worthy, produces in every good work, and grows in knowledge. From Psalm 1’s rooted stability to Romans 6’s promise that fruit leads to sanctification and eternal life, we keep returning to one theme: abiding creates output. When you’re planted by the stream, the leaf does not wither. We also challenge entitlement with Luke 17’s servant posture. Duty over applause keeps our hearts clean and our hands busy, whether or not anyone notices. And when fear whispers, we remember Paul’s shipwrecks and snakebites—assignments survive adversity because God keeps His promises. If doors need opening, He will open them. Our part is to pray boldly, start small, stay steady and trust the One who appointed us to bear fruit. If this resonates, share it with a friend who needs courage today. 4. Grace For Everyone

    11/28/2025

    Grace For Everyone

Grace is not a reward for the good; it’s rescue for the needy—and that includes all of us. We dive straight into why the gospel says you can’t earn your way to God, and why that’s the best news you’ll hear this week. Drawing from Romans, Ephesians, and John, we unpack how the law reveals our need, how Jesus pays our debt, and how faith—not performance—opens the door to peace with God. We talk about the difference grace makes on Monday morning: freedom from sin’s dominion, a living connection to the Holy Spirit, and a daily path of sanctification that is honest about failure and bold about hope. Using a simple jail-and-bail picture, we ask the question many avoid: if the door is open, why stay in the cell? From there we explore how true joy, purpose, and identity break through when we stop hustling for worth and receive it as a gift. Redemption through Christ’s blood is not a concept; it’s a new status—sons and daughters with access to God’s presence. You’ll hear practical encouragement to pray, to lean on Scripture, and to embrace a grace-shaped life that confesses quickly, gets back up, and keeps walking. We challenge the myths of self-salvation, money-as-meaning, and fame-as-fulfillment, and point to a better foundation: the immeasurable riches of God’s kindness in Christ. If you’ve felt disqualified, tired, or stuck, consider this your invitation to stand in grace today. If this conversation encouraged you, follow the show, share it with a friend who needs hope, and leave a quick review on Apple Podcasts or Spotify—your support helps more people encounter the good news.
