When I started marketing my own media publishing company, I discovered my true passion - SEO. SEO stands for "search engine optimization" and it's how websites and other digital properties are set up and presented to search engines like Google, Bing, Yahoo, Youtube and more - so that customers who do not KNOW a business or service by name, and when looking for a solution to the problem seemingly "stumble" across the perfect fit for them. My story starts at the point when I decided to offer the same energy and effort to help other businesses who I thought were like me and my own business.

    Google May Never Announce Another Core Update - Season 6 Ep 39

    Last week Google announced what looked like the snd SPAM update to run within less than 30 days from the previous one run in August 2026. What they didn't tell us was the Core update they ran between them from August 24th - September 8th. Through that lense it makes sense. Every SPAM update is NOT the same. Before a Core update it looks at specific items to remove them. After a Core Update Google looks for those who would make their sitemaps show a more recent change than the URL's own RSS feed which is more reliable for Google. Content that has one date and sitemaps that have another - this is one thing this update will zero in on.     The SEO Identity Crisis - Doing The Same Thing Expecting Same Results

    Why are brilliant marketers choosing to watch their organic traffic slowly bleed out rather than learn how a LLM actually thinks? I think the main reason is Legacy SEO is no longer just a technical skill set; it has become a personal and professional identity.
