The Full Circle: Linking Songs with Musicians & Friends

DC

The Full Circle is a music themed podcast with each song having a link to the previous song, and the last song linking back to the first song, hence completing The Full Circle. Links can be factual, personal and can also have one common theme, (nearly) anything goes! The show is hosted by DC, who is a massive music fan, with a huge interest in live music, festivals & discovering new artists, and also an NHS working doctor, specialising in Psychiatry. Episodes feature musicians, mates and my partner Abi linking songs together, with the occasional solo episode. As The Full Circle begins its second season, roughly every other week, DC will review some of his favourite albums over the years, and possibly some future releases too! The Full Circle will be DC's five favourite songs from that album. Unfortunately, copyright rules stop me from playing the songs on the show, but playlist of the songs are available on each episode description. In between The Full Circle and general chat, there are also fun features such as "Would You Rather", quizzes tailored to the guest and the solo shows also features the now legendary "Abid's Words of Wisdom".  As a Psychiatry Doctor, DC also invites guests to talk about their own Mental Health experiences if they wish, and encourage others to reach out, if they are experiencing their own mental health difficulties.  Follow the Full Circle page on Instagram at https://www.instagram.com/fullcirclepodcastDC for exclusive content including live music giveaways, and the occasional Kazoo playing from time to time.

  1. The Full Circle Rewind: Frank Turner Creates His Full Circle!

The Full Circle Rewind: Frank Turner Creates His Full Circle!

One year ago, I had Frank Turner on The Full Circle. He was the first musician to come on the show and if it wasn't for him, I would not have been able to speak to so many more incredible musicians since. I wanted to celebrate this by re-releasing the episode with a new spoken intro by myself before the conversation with Frank!   We spoke about: - How touring went in 2025 and speaking about the returning Million Dead prior to completing their now confirmed final UK tour in December 2025!  - He answered some tough Would You Rather questions, including if he'd played the same venue forever with a different setlist every time, or different venues forever with the same setlist every time! - He also played Which Frank said this? A game where he had to figure out if he, Frank Turner, said a particular quote in a previous interview or if it was his friend, fellow musician, and current touring singer for Sex Pistols (and also someone others have confused him with), Frank Carter! - And of course, Frank makes his Full Circle, ranging from Million Dead to Descendents!  Link to the songs are here: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2iYkuvFNfqc9yKg647ysv7 All this and so much more on this week's episode! Follow Frank Turner on Instagram: https://instagram.com/frankturner Thank you to Frank Turner for his time on the show, and thank you to each and every one of you for the ongoing support!  Follow the Full Circle on social media! https://www.instagram.com/fullcirclepodcastDC https://www.tiktok.com/@fullcirclepodcastdc https://www.facebook.com/DCFullCircle/ https://www.youtube.com/@FullCircleDC

  2. Funeral For A Friend's Ryan Richards Creates His Full Circle, Plays Which Ryan Said This & More!

Funeral For A Friend's Ryan Richards Creates His Full Circle, Plays Which Ryan Said This & More!

Ryan Richards is a truly incredible person and it's an absolute honour to have him on The Full Circle this week! He is the drummer and scream vocalist for the incredible band Funeral For A Friend, who are headlining 2000Trees on Friday 10th July! Get last remaining tickets: https://2000trees.co.uk/tickets  (As an aside, the line up is incredible, and whilst it absolutely sucks that Alkaline Trio have had to drop out (get well soon Matt Skiba!), Don Broco replacing is about as good as you can get from such a rubbish situation.) Ryan is also the CEO of management company Future History and is one of the most successful rock managers in the world with an incredible roster including Sleep Token, Holding Absence & PRESIDENT and more. On the show: Ryan reveals the hottest place he's ever performed (we recorded this during the recording breaking heatwave happened in the UK in June), he answers some tough Would You Rather questions (including whether he'd want to perform Casually Dressed & Deep in Conversation in full again or Hours in full again), and he plays a quiz called Which Ryan Said This? Where he had to guess if the quote was by him or by Hollywood's Ryan Reynolds, and we also spoke about Wrexham and the impact they have had on Welsh Football. Ryan also creates his very personal Full Circle ranging from Black Sabbath to Iron Maiden, and ending with Funeral For A Friend (fun fact: my favourite song of theirs!). Playlist for the songs here: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2paFMo6cWg7YG8HZ5fXfPJ Thank you to Ryan for coming on The Full Circle, and thank you for checking out the episode!  Follow the Full Circle on social media! https://www.instagram.com/fullcirclepodcastDC https://www.tiktok.com/@fullcirclepodcastdc https://www.facebook.com/DCFullCircle/ https://www.youtube.com/@FullCircleDC

  3. Oh My God! It's The Church Frontman Reverend Michael Alabama Jackson Creates His Full Circle & Forgives Your Confessions! (Or Does He?!)

Oh My God! It's The Church Frontman Reverend Michael Alabama Jackson Creates His Full Circle & Forgives Your Confessions! (Or Does He?!)

An absolute honour to have 2x Alabama State Preaching Champion in 2005 & 2010 and frontman of the religious revelation Oh My God! It's The Church Reverend Michael Alabama Jackson!  Their shows are absolutely incredible and a truly unique experience with their goal being to give their congregation the best time combining rock n roll, music from the soul and some religious aspects hosted by the "morally flexible" Reverend. Head over to ohmygoditsthechurch.com to attend one of the upcoming services either in the summer festival circuit, or their Original Sinners Tour in November 2026! On the show: The Reverend explains the band in a nutshell (not easy!), he also answers some tough Would You Rather questions (including whether to be The Pope or Archbishop of Canterbury) and I asked Rev whether he would forgive Confessions provided by The Full Circle Nation, which is also part of their live shows! Did Rev forgive everyone or is anyone going to Hell?! And of course, Rev creates his Full Circle, ranging from David Bowie to Electric Six! Playlist for the songs: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2Bmcnjor7obUFiCOkKrlv5 Thank you to the Reverend for coming on The Full Circle, and thank you for listening as always!
