For the Season 2 Finale, it's her turn. With her husband, Isaac Moore, stepping into the host seat, Octavia | The Surrendered Gem finds herself on the other side of the questions—and admits from the beginning: she's nervous. Some parts of this testimony were easy to share. Others weren't. In this personal conversation, Octavia reflects on entering foster care as a child, adoption, experiencing abuse, raising her children while helping raise her siblings, marriage, surrendering more deeply to God, and more! There were seasons when she was deeply rooted in God and seasons when she wasn't. There were moments of obedience and moments of brokenness. There were prayers, unexpected people, provision, restoration, laughter, fear, grace—and countless moments that make more sense looking backward than they did while she was living them. Through it all, one truth remains: God was in the moments. This isn't Octavia's entire story. But she believes what was meant to be shared in this moment was shared. And her prayer isn't that you simply hear her testimony. It's that her testimony encourages you to look at your own. Where was God protecting you? Where did He provide? Who did He send? What did He carry you through? Could it be that some of the moments you've overlooked are the very places where His faithfulness is waiting to be recognized? This is vulnerability from the woman who has spent two seasons asking others to be vulnerable. This is Octavia wearing her own heart on her sleeve. And this is her testimony: God is in the Moments!
