    WHY AM I STILL HERE?

    Have you ever looked at your life and wondered, “Why am I still here?” You know God gave you direction. You know there’s something He told you to start, leave, build, confront, or pursue—but for some reason, you still haven’t moved. In Deuteronomy 1, the Israelites found themselves at Horeb, a place where God had met them, taught them, and prepared them. But eventually, God gave them a clear instruction: “You have stayed long enough at this mountain.”It was time to break camp and move toward what He had promised. In this Freedom Girls Takeover message, we unpack what can keep us stuck in a season God never intended to become our final destination—and what it takes to finally make the next move. But eventually, the question has to change from “Why am I still here?”  to "What am I going to do next?” You don't have to make every move today. But you do have to make the next one.     THE FAMILY GROUPCHAT PT 3

    What comes with being part of the family of God?  When we give our lives to Jesus, we aren't simply forgiven—we are adopted into God's family. And with that relationship comes an inheritance. Ephesians 1 teaches that through Jesus Christ, we have been adopted as sons and daughters, and Romans 8 reminds us that as God's children, we are also heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ.     HE CAME ALL THIS WAY FOR ME | Pastor Robe Pierre | Freedom City Church How far will Jesus go to reach one person? In Mark 5, Jesus encounters a man whose life has become defined by his brokenness. He is tormented, isolated, bound, and living among the tombs. His community had seemingly given up on him, and Scripture doesn't even tell us his name—only his issues. But while this man wasn't looking for Jesus, Jesus was already coming for him. In this powerful message, Pastor Robe Pierre reminds us that the grace of God will cross every barrier to reach us. Jesus left the crowd, crossed the sea, went through a storm, entered unfamiliar territory, and confronted everything holding this man captive. Jesus didn't just bring him out of bondage. He restored what bondage had taken from him and sent him back home. Back to purpose. Back to community. Back to clarity. Back to dignity. Back to his right mind. Back to life. No matter how far you've gone, how messy life has become, or how broken you feel, Jesus is still coming closer. He came all this way for you. And because He came all this way, you don't have to go home the same way you came.     THE FAMILY GROUP CHAT PART 2

    What has been running through your family? In Part 2 of The Family Group Chat, Pastor Robe Pierre walks through the story of Abraham and the generations that followed him to reveal a powerful truth: families can pass down both blessings and broken patterns. Abraham received an incredible promise from God—God would bless him, make his name great, and use his life to bless generations. But in the very same chapter, Abraham also introduced a pattern of fear, lying, and deception that would eventually show up in his son Isaac and later in his grandson Jacob. Different generation. Different situation. Same pattern. What begins as something small can eventually become normal. And when dysfunction goes unchallenged long enough, it can stop looking like one person's issue and start becoming the culture of an entire family. But your family's story doesn't have to end with what went wrong. In this message, you'll discover: • Why you have to beware of what you normalize • How small compromises can become generational patterns • Why understanding where dysfunction came from doesn't mean you have to continue it • How patterns can become cycles that affect generations • Why you must identify what needs to stop with you • How faith, forgiveness, freedom, and integrity can become generational patterns too • Why God doesn't just want you to break curses—He wants you to build blessings If dysfunction can travel, faith can travel. If bitterness can travel, forgiveness can travel. If addiction can travel, freedom can travel. If brokenness can become a pattern, blessing can become a pattern too. Everything that runs in your family doesn't need to be broken. Some things need to be built on. God told Abraham, “I will bless you... and you will be a blessing.” What God places on your life isn't supposed to stop with you. A generational blessing is something God begins in one generation that produces fruit in the generations that follow. Maybe God saved you because somebody in your family had to be first. The first to pray. The first to forgive. The first to get healthy. The first to break the pattern. The first to bring Jesus into the family. We've spent enough time talking about what runs in the family. Maybe it's time for JESUS to run in the family.     THE FAMILY GROUP CHAT | Pastor Robe Pierre | Freedom City Church What do you do when it feels like God didn’t show up when your family needed Him most? In The Family Group Chat, Pastor Robe Pierre walks through the story of Mary, Martha, and Lazarus in John 11—a family who loved Jesus, followed Jesus, and believed in His power, yet still experienced sickness, disappointment, grief, and loss. Lazarus dies, but what looks like Jesus arriving too late becomes the setting for something far greater than the family expected. Mary and Martha wanted a healing. Jesus was thinking about a resurrection. This message reminds us that God’s silence is never God’s absence. Just because you cannot see Him moving does not mean He isn't working. Sometimes God is doing something much bigger than what you can perceive in the moment. But the miracle wasn't only about Lazarus. Jesus was also thinking about everyone standing around the tomb who still didn't believe. The resurrection of Lazarus became an opportunity for people outside the family of faith to witness the glory of God. In this message, you'll discover: • Why God’s silence does not mean God’s absence • How God can be working even when you cannot perceive it • Why Jesus is always thinking about who is missing from the family • How God can use your pain, process, and testimony to reach someone else • Why your story has Kingdom purpose • What Lazarus’ resurrection teaches us about reaching people who don't yet believe • How your testimony can help expand the family Your story isn't just about what God brought you through.     ALL IN PT 3

    What happens when you stop depending on yourself and go all in with God? In Part 3 of ALL IN, Pastor Robe Pierre teaches from Ezra 8:21–23, where Ezra refuses to move forward on the journey to Jerusalem without first seeking God through prayer and fasting. Ezra understood that what was ahead of him was too important to face without God. Prayer is more than a spiritual routine. Prayer says, “God, I need You.” It brings us to the end of our own ability and teaches us to depend completely on God. There are decisions we cannot figure out, doors we cannot open, habits we cannot break, and burdens we were never meant to carry alone. Prayer is where ability ends and dependence begins. But Ezra didn't only pray—he fasted. Prayer says, “God, I need You.” Fasting says, “God, I want You.” Fasting teaches our appetites that they are allowed to speak, but they are not allowed to lead. When we fast, we intentionally deny one appetite to feed another and declare that God's presence matters more than our comfort, pleasure, routines, or personal satisfaction. In this message, you'll discover: • Why prayer is an admission of our dependence on God • What it means for prayer to truly become our lifeline • The difference between needing God and wanting God • How fasting strengthens self-control and puts our appetites back in their proper place • Why private dependence should match our public declaration • How prayer and fasting deepen our connection with God • What could be waiting on the other side of intentionally seeking God Ezra and the people had a need.     What does it really mean to be ALL IN with God? In Part 2 of ALL IN, Pastor Robe Pierre walks through the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in Daniel 3 and challenges us to develop a faith that refuses to bow—even when following God leads us directly into the fire. Their confidence wasn’t simply that God would rescue them. Their faith was strong enough to declare that even if He didn’t, they still wouldn’t bow. Their worship wasn’t dependent on the hand of God and what He could do for them—it was rooted in the face of God and who He is. In this message, you'll discover: • Why being ALL IN requires standards before pressure comes • How to stand in conviction without condemning others • Why culture can play the music but doesn’t determine your posture • How the fire reveals God’s protection over your life • Why some fires destroy what has been binding you • How your present circumstances don’t determine your future • What it means to have an “even if He doesn’t” kind of faith Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego went into the furnace bound, but they walked around in the fire unbound and unharmed. What was meant to destroy them destroyed what was binding them. The fire revealed their standards. The fire revealed their protection. And the fire revealed their future. You may be in the fire right now, but you can’t judge your future by the temperature of your present. Their story ended with promotion, but they could only reach verse 30 because they were willing to stand in verse 18. If He heals me, I’m ALL IN. If He doesn’t, I’m ALL IN. If the door opens, I’m ALL IN. If the door closes, I’m ALL IN. If He keeps me from the fire, I’m ALL IN. If He meets me in the middle of it, I’M ALL IN.     ALL IN

    What does it look like to be ALL IN with God? In 1 Kings 18, Elijah confronts the people of Israel with a question: “How long will you go limping between two different opinions?” Israel believed in God, but their loyalty was divided. They wanted God while still holding onto Baal. They had one foot in and one foot out. In ALL IN, we confront the areas of our lives where we’ve allowed compromise, culture, fear, control, or the influence of others to compete with our commitment to God. Because God never created us to limp between two directions. He created us to be planted. Sometimes we limp because it was modeled for us. Sometimes standing for God feels lonely. And sometimes we compromise because we want control over the outcome. But just because dysfunction was handed to you doesn’t mean you have to continue it, and being outnumbered doesn’t mean you’re alone. When God chooses you, He equips you. Eventually, everything we put in God’s place will reveal that it cannot be God. The relationship can’t give you identity. Money can’t give you security. A person can’t give you peace. An addiction can’t heal your pain. Approval can’t establish your worth. And compromise can’t fulfill your calling. The goal isn’t to limp. The goal is to be planted. This message is a call to stop wavering, stop living with divided loyalties, trust God completely, and make a decision to follow Him with your whole life. You don’t have to leave the way you came. You can come divided and leave decided. You can come limping and leave knowing exactly who your God is.
