    #68- Not everything is warfare with Malaine Lea Butler

    INTRO Sister, we need to talk. If you have spent the last six months calling every hard season "warfare," this episode is for you. Not everything is warfare. Some of it is disobedience wearing a spiritual costume. In this episode, Malaine Lea gets honest about a message Jesus has been pressing on her heart. A lot of what Christians label as attack is actually the fruit of living outside God's will. Compromise. Disobedience. Doing things your own way on your own terms, then calling the consequences a demon. This one is not here to fear monger you. You can be doing something that looks good, sounds good, and gets applauded, and still be outside what God assigned you to do. John 15 says apart from the vine, it is nothing.   BIBLE VERSE "The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace." Exodus 14:14, KJV "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper." Isaiah 54:17, KJV   CALL TO ACTION Stop glorifying the fight and start seeking the will of God. Get in the Word. Get around godly counsel that will actually tell you the truth.     Intro You wear a lot of hats. Mom. Wife. Minister. Business owner. Coach. But not everything you're carrying was assigned to you by God, and that is exactly what this episode gets into.     Summary Here's the thing. I was praying to all the wrong gods for over a decade and I didn't even know it. Sister, this episode is personal. The dream catchers, the mermaid obsession, the witchcraft woven into kids music and movies. It is subtle by design. Name it and check it against Scripture. If the peace of God is not there, God is not there. Full stop. Submission in marriage is not agreement. It took me learning that the hard way to understand my husband's discernment was covering and protecting our family the whole time.     INTRO Here's the thing. We are living in a season where exposure ministries are everywhere and cancel culture has snuck its way right into the body of Christ. I sat down with my dear sister Deidra Hughes, who grew up around names like Oral Roberts and Jim and Tammy Bakker and later traveled with Benny Hinn, sitting on the platform for six hour services with the cameras always rolling. She has seen ministry from the inside. She has watched leaders fall. And she has watched the church respond in ways that look nothing like Jesus. This is not a conversation about whether accountability matters. It does. This is a conversation about the spirit behind how we are doing it, and whether reconciliation or reputation is actually the goal. We also get into something that wrecked me a little. What is actually blocking your intimacy with God right now. Not what you think it is. For me it is a walk at night where I finally stop talking long enough to let Him talk. We do not throw the baby out with the bathwater over one point of disagreement. You can sit under a teacher's gifting and still hold a different conviction on one issue. Honor where people are on the journey.
