Welcome to the Moon Moods podcast! Each month Lauren and Maris break down current New and Full Moons as well as other significant transits. New and Full Moons will be the priority, but there will be bonus episodes as needed based on the current astrological happenings! Lauren and Maris are astrologers who became friends while studying together at Kepler College! They are passionate about using astrology to help identify and understand themselves on a deeper level and empowering others to do the same.

    Taurus Full Moon - October 25/26, 2026

    Hello everyone and welcome back to the Moon Moods podcast! In this episode we discuss the Taurus Full Moon at 2º Taurus 45’ on October 25/26, 2026 depending on your time zone. For the west coast it's exact at 9:11pm (25th) PDT and for the east coast it's exact at 12:11am (26th) EDT. This full moon is heavy with both of the luminaries forming a square with Pluto, Venus is still retrograde, Mercury stations retrograde the day prior, and a LOT of fixed energy including the Mercury/Jupiter square.     Libra New Moon - October 10, 2026

    Hello everyone and welcome back to the Moon Moods podcast! We're here today to discuss the Libra New Moon that is exact on October 10, 2026 at 17º Libra 21’ 8:49am PDT / 11:49am EDT. This new moon is ruled by a Venus who is retrograde and square her ruler, Mars, so while on the surface it feels a little cute and flirty there's a lot going on underneath.     Pisces Lunar Eclipse with Courtney from Twin Star Astrology - August 27/28, 2026

    Hi friends!! Welcome back to the Moon Moods podcast! This week we're joined by our good friend Courtney from Twin Star Astrology to unpack this Pisces Lunar Eclipse. The eclipse is exact on August 27th or 28th depending on your time zone. For our west coasters it's exact on the 27th at 9:18pm PDT and for our east coasters it's exact on August 28th at 12:18am EDT.     Leo Solar Eclipse - August 12, 2026

    Hello friends and welcome back to the Moon Moods podcast! We've officially entered eclipse season and have our first eclipse on August 12th. This eclipse is in Leo at 20º Leo 01' at 10:36am PDT / 1:36pm EDT (we said this wrong in the episode - sorry!!). It's our first eclipse in Leo since the nodes changed signs in late July! We discuss the South Nodes influence and how it differs from the North Node, what it means if this eclipse is conjunct one of your own planets, and the fall of the people we put on pedestals.     Aquarius Full Moon - July 29, 2026

    Our Aquarius full moon on July 29th is pretty heavy! The sun sits conjunct Jupiter in Leo and the Moon sits conjunct Pluto in Aquarius. These four are all closely connected and this full moon intensifies the energy of the Jupiter-Pluto that was exact on July 20th.
