Xbox is at it again... | JustSomeDudes Gaming Podcast Ep. 39

Xbox is going through another MAJOR shakeup — and this time, Halo is right in the middle of it. In Episode 39 of the JustSomeDudes Gaming Podcast, we break down the latest Xbox restructuring, including more layoffs, Activision taking a bigger role within Xbox, what the changes could mean for the future of Halo, Obsidian moving under Bethesda, Turn 10 and Playground Games, and the uncertain futures of several Xbox studios. Could putting Halo under Activision actually help the franchise? Could a reboot be exactly what Halo needs? And what does Xbox look like once this massive restructuring is finally complete? We also talk about what we’ve been playing lately, including Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Marvel’s Wolverine, and Silent Hill: Townfall. We discuss why Wolverine’s online backlash may be getting overblown, what makes Onimusha’s combat so much fun, and why Silent Hill: Townfall might have some of the best puzzles we’ve played in a horror game. PLUS: Gears of War: E-Day, the possibility of continuing Marcus and Dom’s story, Control Resonant, GTA 6’s wild Collector’s Edition, and more!0:00:00 - Start/Housekeeping0:01:29 - Xbox is in the news again...0:34:24 - Onimusha: Way of the Sword0:40:29 - Marvel's Wolverine0:59:10 - Silent Hill: TownfallNew episodes of the JustSomeDudes Gaming Podcast every Monday.
