    Ep 34 | Izzy, Bec and... a ghost (?)

    We sat down to record a vulnerable episode about being proud of our achievements. You know, the uncomfortable kind of proud. The kind that makes you want to shrink the second you say it out loud.But the energy in the room shifts.What starts as a deep conversation about self-worth slowly turns… strange. There’s a presence. A feeling. Something that seems to step in and guide the conversation somewhere we weren’t planning to go.Izzy gets scared. Like genuinely unsettled. The vibe feels intense. Heavy.     Ep 33 | The Worst Week Of Our Lives... (truly)

    Daycare drop offs did not go the way we hoped. The guilt was loud. The tiny hands clinging were louder. We’re chatting about what it feels like to walk away when your whole body wants to scoop them back up and run home. If you’ve ever sat in the car after drop off questioning every life decision, you’re gonna feel seen.We also started weaning off the dummy. Which sounds small. It is not small. It is emotional warfare. There were protests. There were negotiations. There were 2am identity crises. We get into what it’s like to hold boundaries while also wanting to fold like a lawn chair because your baby is sad.And then Bec had a minor car accident that was technically fine but emotionally not fine. You know when nothing catastrophic happens but your nervous system still decides it’s apocalypse mode? Yeah. That. We talk about the shock, the tears, and how even “small” things can tip you over when you’re already stretched thin.Basically this episode is about the thousand tiny griefs of motherhood. The constant transitions. The letting go. The pressure to be regulated when you are absolutely not regulated.If you’ve cried in your pantry, in your car, in the shower, or quietly while making a snack plate, this one is for you.     Ep 32 | Raising Them While Re-Raising Ourselves

    This week we’re getting real about what it’s actually like to mother with ADHD when you’ve never really had the right support for your brain. The overwhelm. The guilt. The masking. The constant feeling of “why is this so hard for me?”We talk about raising our kids while still trying to re-parent ourselves. One of us is sending a baby off to high school and is watching their young adult board a plane overseas for the first time without us.Another is navigating those emotional daycare drop offs.It’s pride. It’s fear. It’s letting go in tiny pieces. It’s wondering if we did enough.     Ep 31 | SEASON 2! HELLO 2026! NEW LOCATION! IZZY GOT HER P'S!!

    Season 2 is officially here and we are kicking off 2026 feeling reflective, excited, and a little bit proud of ourselves. In this first episode of the year, we chat about our goals for 2026, what we’re calling in, and what we’re gently letting go of. Big life updates too. New recording location, new vibes, and yes, Izzy finally got her licence which honestly deserves its own parade. We also get a bit mushy about this podcast as our little passion project, why it matters to us, and what we hope it becomes this year. Low pressure, honest, hopeful energy to start the year together.     Ep 30 | CHRISTMAS EVE EPISODE! LAST EP OF THE YEAR :(

    Christmas Eve felt like the only correct time to drop our final episode of the year. In this one, we slow it right down and lean into nostalgia, reflection, and a little bit of emotional chaos. We talk about finishing primary school and that weird mix of excitement and grief that comes with closing such a big chapter, plus the teachers who shaped us in ways we didn’t realise until years later and the ones we’ll honestly never forget.We also dive into dreams we’ve had that stayed with us long after we woke up and what they might say about who we were, who we are now, and who we’re becoming. To wrap it all up, we reflect on the year that was, the lessons, the growth, the hard bits, the beautiful moments, and everything we’re carrying forward into the next chapter.A soft, reflective Christmas Eve listen and the perfect way to close out the year with us 🎄💫🎧

    Ep 29 | THEY THREATENED TO CALL DOCS?! (Mel's Story)

    In this episode, Mel opens up about her full birth journey across all four of her babies. From a planned hospital birth with her first, to a home birth, a home birth transfer, and a planned home birth that became a planned hospital birth. She shares how each experience shaped her as a mum and as a woman.Mel also bravely talks about one birth that was deeply traumatic, including the moment medical professionals threatened to involve CPS. She reflects on the emotional impact of that experience, the fear and powerlessness it created, and how she rebuilt trust in herself afterward.This is an honest, raw conversation about birth plans changing, navigating trauma, advocating for yourself, and holding both motherhood and business life at once.     Ep 27 | "You're too much!!" (ADHD Masking, Friendship Loss & Trauma)

    This episode gets into what it’s really like masking as ADHD women and how different it looks depending on the life you’re living. One of us is out working, navigating professional expectations and keeping it all together on the outside. The other is at home with a toddler, juggling the constant sensory load and the pressure to seem like we’ve got it all sorted. We compare how our masking shows up, how it drains us in different ways, and how it shapes the way people see us.We also open up about the stuff that sits underneath it all. The comments we grew up hearing, the moments we were told we were too much or too intense, and how that sticks to you long after childhood. And yeah, we talk about the heavy feelings that come with trauma, including the really strong anger and resentment toward the people who caused it. It’s honest, a bit confronting, but it’s the kind of conversation that makes you feel less alone in your own head.
