[Ep. 36] College Football Week 1 Betting Preview | Best Bets + Weekend Leans

Week 0 is in the books and we survived it. Now we get five straight days of college football to open Week 1, and Nate walks the entire board. First, a Week 0 recap: a profitable weekend at 3-1, Belichick and North Carolina taking down TCU in Dublin, Stanford finding a passing game, North Dakota State announcing themselves in FBS, and one ugly no-show that cost us the biggest bet of the week. Then it's the full Week 1 card. Thursday and Friday night action including the Colorado live sweat in Atlanta, Michigan State and Toledo, and USC hosting Fresno State. Saturday gets Coastal Carolina at West Virginia, East Carolina at Alabama, Auburn and Baylor, Marshall at Penn State, Texas State in the Austin heat, Tulsa and Oklahoma State, Clemson at LSU in Death Valley, UNLV at Hawaii, and UCLA up at Cal. Sunday brings the Apple Cup, Louisville and Ole Miss in Nashville, and Notre Dame taking on Wisconsin at Lambeau. Monday closes it out with SMU at Florida State. Plus the thing nobody wants to hear in Week 1: these numbers have been baked for months. There is very little edge left. Nate covers how to bet a picked-over board without lighting your bankroll on fire before the season really starts. One official play locked in, several strong leans, and a few games that look like bets and absolutely are not. On the card this week: • NC State +5.5 (+102, Novig) as the official model play, opened at 7.5 and moved two full points • Stanford money line at -122 after a profit boost, against a Hawaii team that hasn't won a non-conference road game as a dog under Timmy Chang • North Carolina / TCU under 49.5 in Dublin, half unit, boosted Week 0 games covered: North Carolina vs TCU at the Aer Lingus Classic in Dublin, San Jose State at USC, NC State at Virginia, Jacksonville State at North Dakota State, Sacramento State at Eastern Michigan, Hawaii at Stanford, New Mexico State at Florida State, Memphis at UNLV. [Ep. 34] 2026 NFL Betting Preview: All 32 Teams, 5 Bets Locked, 1 I Sold

Five win totals locked. One position sold. All 32 teams in 70 minutes. The card as it stands: Rams over 10.5 (-140) | market now 11.5 Eagles under 10.5 (-125) | now -145 Jets over 5.5 (+101) Steelers over 7.5 (-130) | now -145 Chargers under 10.5 (-145) | now -150 Four of those five have moved our way. One of them moved a full number. There is also a bet from the May episode that is no longer on the board. The model came down over the summer, the number stopped justifying the ticket, and we got out. That one is in here. And there is one lean sitting at a double digit edge that did not get fired. Yet. If a sixth win total goes on the card this year, it is that team. Also in this episode: Where the Super Bowl and conference futures board sits right now, and why the numbers are tighter than last August B engals, Bears, Falcons, Broncos, Patriots, Titans: five leans we walked through and did not bet The odds screen that showed a 13% edge and the sportsbook that showed something very different when we clicked through Rapid fire through the remaining teams with a number and a lean on each one Every position is logged and public. Track it: Action Network: @ntsports22 Betstamp: @ntsports22 Next week: week zero college football, plus a full recap of the CFB futures card. New episodes every Thursday morning through the season.
