In this message, we explore what it truly means to live above average as a follower of Christ. We break down three common misconceptions that keep believers thinking small, including confusing humility with fear, confusing contentment with laziness, and mistaking small thinking for spirituality. We also walk through the three core requests in the prayer of Jabez and why each one matters deeply for your life today. Whether you are dealing with labels from your past, struggling to believe God for something bigger, or simply feeling stuck in an ordinary routine, this message is for you. God is not looking for the most talented person in the room. He is looking for someone who will trust Him. Topics covered include the prayer of Jabez, bold prayer and faith, overcoming a painful past, living with purpose, spiritual growth, hearing from God, Christian motivation, and how to pray effectively. This message is relevant for anyone searching for topics like how to pray bold prayers, what the Bible says about ambition, overcoming fear with faith, Christian living, purpose-driven life, and how to grow your faith. Romans 10:17 reminds us that faith comes from hearing the Word of God. Ephesians 3:20 declares that God is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine. These are not just encouraging verses. They are an invitation to believe bigger and pray bolder. If you have been playing it safe in your faith, this is your reminder that God has more for you. Take the prayer of Jabez seriously this week. Ask God to bless you, expand your influence for His kingdom, walk closely with you through His Spirit, and protect you from the enemy's lies and your own negative thinking. Do not let your name, your past, or someone else's opinion of you become the ceiling on your life. Jabez was a man named Pain who became one of the most honored figures in all of Scripture, not because of his talent, but because he prayed and believed God would answer. You can do the same. Love God. Love Others. Live It Out

What is the difference between having information and actually living wisely? In a world where answers are just a search away, genuine wisdom feels harder to find than ever. The Book of Proverbs cuts through the noise and offers something far more valuable: a roadmap from a loving Father who wants to guide His children through life with skill, grace, and purpose. This message explores what biblical wisdom really is, why it is called a grace, and how it applies to the most practical areas of your everyday life. Whether you are struggling with your words, your finances, your relationships, your work ethic, or your emotions, Proverbs speaks directly and powerfully into each of those areas. Key topics covered include the following. What biblical wisdom is and why it matters more than information or advice. Why Proverbs 3:5-6, trust in the Lord with all your heart, is the foundation for a well-lived life. What it means to fear the Lord and why that is where wisdom begins. How your words have the power to wound or to heal, and how the Holy Spirit helps you choose. What the Bible says about money, contentment, and the counterfeit shortcuts the world offers. Why the people you spend time with will either pull you toward wisdom or toward harm. What an ant can teach us about overcoming laziness, discouragement, and the temptation to quit. How self-control is not about trying harder but about trusting God to work through you by His Spirit. What happens when you fall and fail, and why your failure is never the final chapter. How Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of all wisdom and the source of every bit of forgiveness, strength, and restoration you need. If you have ever felt like you were making a mess of your life despite your best efforts, or if you have wondered whether God is really willing to help you get back up after a failure, this message is for you. Wisdom is not a destination you arrive at. It is a daily walk with a Father who loves you, a Savior who has already paid for your mistakes, and a Holy Spirit who gives you the power to live differently starting today. Love God. Love Others. Live It Out

What does it really mean to stay steadfast when life gets hard? The book of Nehemiah gives us one of the most practical and powerful answers in all of Scripture. Nehemiah was not a king or a prophet. He was a cupbearer who carried a deep burden for his people and chose to do something about it. When he saw Jerusalem in ruins, he prayed, prepared, and then stepped into the work. And when the opposition came, he did not quit. In this message, we explore what biblical steadfastness actually looks like in everyday life. The Hebrew word hesed, often translated as steadfast love, is not a passive feeling. It is a fierce, covenant-loyal commitment rooted in relationship. God has shown us that kind of love consistently throughout Scripture, and Nehemiah models what it looks like to respond in kind. We look at how Nehemiah handled mockery, threats, and distraction without losing focus. We examine the moment his enemies tried to pull him away from the work and how his response teaches us something critical about staying on mission. We also explore how Nehemiah's story points directly to Jesus, who left heaven, interceded for His people, faced opposition at every turn, and stayed steadfast all the way to the cross. Whether you are leading a family, serving in your community, trying to rebuild something broken, or simply doing the right thing when no one is watching, this message is for you. God sees the work that no one else notices. And His steadfast love toward you is not based on your performance. It is a promise He has never broken. Love God. Love Others. Live It Out

Is the Bible really powerful enough to change your life? Hebrews 4:12-13 describes the Word of God as living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, able to pierce to the deepest parts of who we are and expose the true thoughts and intentions of the heart. This is not just a poetic description. It is a reality that millions of people across every generation have experienced firsthand. In this message, we explore what it truly means for the Bible to be living and active, how Scripture reveals who we really are beneath the surface, and why no one can ultimately hide from the truth it brings. We look at key passages including Hebrews 4:12-13, Romans 7:7, Psalm 19, Psalm 1, and Joshua 1:8 to understand the nature, qualities, and transforming power of God's Word. We also address one of the most encouraging truths in all of Scripture: God does not leave us on the operating table. The same Word that exposes our sin and brokenness also brings healing, restoration, and wholeness. Deuteronomy 32 and Psalm 107 both speak to this reality, and Psalm 147:3 reminds us that He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Whether you are new to the Bible, someone who grew up in church, or a believer who has drifted from regular time in Scripture, this message offers a fresh and compelling look at why the Word of God deserves a central place in your daily life. Topics covered include: the power of the Bible, how Scripture transforms lives, what it means that the Bible is living and active, how God's Word reveals sin and brings healing, the qualities of Scripture in Psalm 19, the benefits of daily Bible reading and meditation, and how the Bible provides a moral foundation for life. Love God. Love Others. Live It Out

What does it mean to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world? In Matthew 5:13-16, Jesus gives every believer a clear identity and a clear calling. This is not a passage reserved for pastors or ministry leaders. It is for every person who follows Christ, no matter where they live or what they do. Salt was one of the most valuable resources in the ancient world. It preserved food, prevented decay, and was even used as currency. Jesus uses this image to describe the role Christians are meant to play in the world. We are here to preserve. To bring God into our workplaces, our homes, our neighborhoods, and our communities. When believers lose their distinctiveness and begin blending into the culture around them, they lose their saltiness and their effectiveness. Light is meant to be seen. Jesus makes this point three times in just a few verses, using the image of a lamp placed on a stand rather than hidden under a basket. He calls His followers to let their light shine before others so that people may see their good works and give glory to God. This is not about drawing attention to yourself. It is about living in a way that points people toward Him. This message covers three practical ways to guard and grow the light in you. Living on purpose means putting off the old self and putting on the new, as described in Colossians 3, with compassion, humility, and love that people around you will notice. Living on mission means embracing the role every believer has been given as an ambassador for Christ, as described in 2 Corinthians 5. The ministry of reconciliation does not belong only to church staff. It belongs to every person who has been reconciled to God. Living on guard means understanding the spiritual warfare described in Ephesians 6 and recognizing that the people around you who do not know Christ are not the enemy. They are blinded, and you carry the light that can break through that darkness. If you have ever wondered whether your faith is making a difference, whether the people in your life can see something different in you, or whether you have been hiding your light out of fear or comfort, this message is for you. Love God. Love Others. Live It Out

The book of Philemon is only one chapter long, but the truths packed inside this short New Testament letter are anything but small. This message digs into what it really means to live for Jesus, love like He loved, and share faith in a way that actually makes a difference. Philemon was a house church leader who received a personal letter from the apostle Paul while Paul was in prison. The letter centers on Onesimus, a runaway slave who encountered Paul in Rome and came to faith in Jesus Christ. His transformation is one of the most powerful pictures of the gospel in all of Scripture. He left as a fugitive and returned as a brother in Christ. Key topics covered include why Christians are called to pray for one another by name, what the Bible says about genuine love versus the shallow version our culture promotes, and what happens when a church loses its first love as described in Revelation 2. The message also explores how our circumstances can distract us from God's purpose, just as the Israelites wandered for 40 years on a journey that should have taken weeks. At the heart of this message is Philemon 1:6, which teaches that the sharing of faith becomes effective when we first acknowledge every good thing that is in us in Christ Jesus. Simply put, we must be affected by the gospel before we can be effective for it. Galatians 2:20, Romans 12:1-2, and Ephesians 2:8-9 all point to the same truth: salvation is a gift, transformation is ongoing, and the Christian life requires daily surrender. Whether you are a longtime believer or someone just beginning to explore faith, this message offers practical and honest answers to questions like: Is Jesus truly first in my life? Am I letting the gospel change how I live and love? What kind of impact am I making on the people around me? Love God. Love Others. Live It Out

Are you a Christian who wants to share your faith but does not know where to start? This message is for you. Rooted in the Great Commission of Matthew 28 and the heart of Romans 10, this practical and encouraging teaching breaks down what it actually looks like for everyday believers to share the gospel with the people around them. You will learn four simple steps that anyone can follow: pray for lost people by name, go to the people in your everyday life, tell them the good news of Jesus using a simple gospel presentation, and trust God with the results. Whether you are a new Christian or have been following Jesus for decades, this message will give you the confidence and the tools to start real conversations about faith. Real stories from mission trips, neighborhood outreaches, backyard conversations, and workplace encounters show that God is already at work in the lives of the people around you. He is simply looking for willing believers to show up. A tree service worker and his nephew both accepted Christ in someone's backyard. A small church of 35 people prayed for 200 people by name and saw over 30 of them come to faith in six months. A woman prayed for her family for nine years and watched seven of them accept Christ in a single morning. These are not extraordinary people. They are ordinary believers who were willing to pray, go, and tell. Topics covered include how to share the gospel in everyday conversations, a simple gospel presentation using John 3:16, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, and Romans 10:9, how to pray specifically for people who do not yet know Jesus, why the urgency of sharing the gospel matters, and how to trust God with the results even when the answer is not immediate. If you have ever said you do not know how to share your faith, this message will change that. The harvest is ready. The workers are needed. And Jesus has promised to be with you every step of the way. Love God. Love Others. Live It Out
