    5. The Power of Words in Your Childs Healing Journey: What if We Refuse to Accept Limitations

Send us a text Words have the power to shape our reality—especially for children. This realization struck me profoundly during my daughter Navy's recent eye appointment, where I decided to experiment with the transformative potential of language. After recalling Napoleon Hill's remarkable story about his son who was diagnosed as permanently deaf but ultimately learned to hear through unwavering belief, I wondered: could positive language influence my daughter's eye condition? This question led me to write a letter to her optician, requesting they use only empowering language during her examination. The science behind this experiment is fascinating. Until around age seven or eight, children's brains primarily operate in theta and delta brainwave states—the same states accessed during deep meditation. This makes their minds extraordinarily impressionable, absorbing everything as truth without the filter of critical thinking. What medical professionals say in these moments becomes their reality. When the optician embraced my request, using phrases like "your eyes are healing beautifully" instead of "you still need glasses," I watched Navy's entire demeanor transform. She sat taller, more confident. Even more surprisingly, her prescription had actually decreased—her eyes were genuinely improving. Whether coincidence or consequence, the experience reinforced the profound impact our words have on children's developing minds and possibly even their physical healing. This experiment extends beyond eye appointments to every aspect of parenting. From how we speak about homework challenges to the way we discuss co-parenting dynamics, our language creates the foundation for our children's core beliefs about themselves and their capabilities. By consciously choosing empowering words, we provide our children with the strongest possible foundation for their journey ahead. What language patterns might you shift to better support the children in your life? Share your thoughts and join our self-development book club where we explore these concepts further. 4.Quantum Leaps: The Power of Who You Surround Yourself With & How Your Environment Shapes Reality

Send us a text That moment on the Stairmaster changed everything. As I settled into my usual 30-minute workout at level 10, I noticed the man next to me pumping away at level 17. Without hesitation, I increased my own intensity by two levels, pushing beyond my comfort zone simply because seeing someone else doing it made it seem possible. This ordinary gym experience revealed a profound truth about personal growth: our environments shape what we believe is achievable. Throughout my entrepreneurial journey, I've discovered that meaningful change happens faster when four key components align. First, your environment—the people, places, and digital spaces you engage with—either reinforces your limitations or activates new possibilities. I've experienced this firsthand by auditing who I spend time with, changing my usual haunts to places aligned with who I'm becoming, and completely redesigning my social media consumption to nourish rather than deplete me. Once, a simple decision to work from a new coffee shop led to overhearing a business conversation that blossomed into a supportive weekly mastermind that continues today. The second component is evidence. Witnessing others' success—especially those we relate to—shatters limiting beliefs about what's possible. The third element is action; consistently placing yourself in growth-oriented environments naturally shifts your behavior to align with your aspirations. Finally, reinforcement solidifies these changes through repetition and celebration, often alongside mentors and peers who are steps ahead on similar paths. My participation in a NatWest business program exemplifies these principles in action. Surrounded by entrepreneurs at various stages, I've accelerated my learning, refined systems, updated my brand vision, and gained clarity on my business direction. What might have taken years through isolated trial-and-error is happening in months through this ecosystem of support. Whether you're building a business, improving health habits, or developing new skills, these four components create the conditions for quantum leaps in your growth. Start by examining your current environment—who energizes you, what places inspire you, and which digital spaces serve your evolution? Then intentionally cultivate surroundings that reflect your desired future, knowing that with each small shift, you're rewriting the story of what's possible for you. 3.The Sacred Art of Feeling Your Emotions: Breaking Free from Busyness Culture

Send us a text Have you ever felt an inexplicable panic when trying to rest? That strange guilt or fear that creeps in when you finally slow down? You're not alone. Emma Jones opens up about her recent emotional journey through Father's Day grief, revealing the surprising terror she felt when trying to simply lie down and feel her emotions. This fear—what she describes as feeling like "you've forgotten to pick your kids up from school"—stems from childhood experiences watching her mother struggle with schizophrenia and depression, creating a deep-seated association between rest and breakdown. The podcast explores our cultural obsession with busyness as a status symbol, and how Emma consciously removed "I'm really busy" from her vocabulary after recognizing its harmful effects. She shares the transformation that came when she discovered "the welcome method"—a practice of opening her arms to uncomfortable emotions instead of running from them. Unlike spiritual bypassing (which Emma admits she fell into during her early spiritual journey), true emotional processing requires validation and somatic release. She details practical techniques like EFT tapping, physical shaking, and the "morning pages" practice from The Artist's Way that have helped her process emotions without becoming overwhelmed. Even as a parent, Emma's created a system with her children—using the code word "PIP" (pee in private)—to take quick emotional regulation breaks when triggered. The most profound insight? The behaviors we use to avoid our deepest fears often lead us directly into them. By suppressing emotions to prevent mental health struggles, Emma ironically experienced the breakdown she was desperately trying to avoid. Her vulnerable sharing offers a roadmap for anyone struggling to honor their emotional needs in a world that rewards constant productivity over authentic presence. 2. Healing Through Loss: My Father's Unfulfilled Dreams and My Journey Forward (Vulnerable Share - Father's Day Reflection)

Send us a text Raw grief collides with profound wisdom in this unscripted, intimate episode recorded on Father's Day. With tears still fresh on my cheeks, I share the complicated journey with my father who passed from cancer in 2017, and the powerful lessons his unfulfilled dreams taught me about life. My dad's greatest regret was never making it to Australia—the dream destination he perpetually postponed while chasing financial security. When I began living adventures he had only talked about, it created a painful rift between us that took years to heal. Our final trip to Bali together, just months before his death, was bittersweet—moments of pure joy interspersed with the reality of his declining health and our strained connection. What strikes me most now is how my father never realized that the freedom, adventure and possibility he associated with Australia were already available to him. He didn't need to physically be there to begin cultivating those emotions and building the life he wanted. Through my exploration of neuroplasticity and manifestation, I've come to understand that our dreams aren't achieved by waiting for everything to align perfectly—they're built through incremental steps that bridge our current reality with our desired future. The most profound teaching from my father's unfulfilled dreams is that life is too short to postpone joy. We don't simply leap from here to there—we travel a path of stepping stones. What habits would your future self have? What knowledge would they possess? What environments would they create? By answering these questions and taking aligned action today, you pull your desired future closer rather than pushing it perpetually ahead. What one small step could you take today toward living your dream life, rather than waiting for permission or "enough" money to begin? 1. Ego Vs Soul: Breaking Free from Fear and Embracing Your Authentic Self

Send us a text What happens when we finally stop editing ourselves for the comfort of others? When we release the spiritual perfectionism that labels certain parts of ourselves as "ego" and therefore unworthy? The Soul Led podcast emerges from exactly this question. Welcome to the raw, unfiltered journey of someone who's spent years fearing she was "too much" - too passionate, too expressive, too sexual, too confident. This debut episode chronicles my personal rebellion against self-imposed limitations and the false dichotomy between what's "soul-led" versus "ego-led." Through candid storytelling, I reveal how this spiritual division actually acts as a cosmic joke keeping us small rather than a path to authenticity. As I worked through Julia Cameron's transformative book "The Artist's Way," I encountered what Bob Proctor calls the "terror barrier" - that intense wall of fear we hit when approaching meaningful change. My 85-year-old self appeared with a message I desperately needed: "Baby girl, you are here for big things. Stop caring what people think because it's slowing you down from sharing your message." This conversation sparked a four-week commitment to move beyond my limitations, regardless of how messy or unhinged it might appear. The truth is, everything we love - our favorite songs, art, and stories - comes from a place of genuine human experience, not sanitized perfection. When we withhold our authenticity out of fear, we rob others of the healing our truth might offer them. You are one in 400 billion with a unique frequency that nobody else possesses. What would you create if nothing were "bad" or "good," if you weren't afraid of judgment?  Ready to break through your own terror barrier?
