Blind Faith Podcast

The Blind Faith podcast is new to the airwaves, crewed by three individuals just beginning to wade into the podcast world, and that does show at times as they work to find their own rhythm of questions, answers, and responses in this first season. However, the foundation being laid is of excellent quality and it’s increasingly apparent with each consecutive episode. Andy, Paige and Salma engage with each other and a stellar selection of guests to dive into honest, open discussions surrounding the theological aspects of disability. A topic that can often cause hesitation and fear is here handled with grace, compassion and a refreshing frankness. In this safe space, the more difficult questions relating to why, how, who say’s, and what now are all easily wrestled with and examined from various aspects, while still allowing them to be set down again without demanding you settle on one answer. This is one of a very few podcasts that has left me wanting. Wanting the episodes to be longer. Wanting there to be more of them. Wanting to pick all of their brains for hours. Wanting to ponder the material for days. As a newly diagnosed neurodivergent, I love that this podcast engages with the complex, challenging topic of disability, and is willing to recognize both the positive and negative which can come out of that. I eagerly anticipate the future episodes to come and highly encourage everyone to join me in listening. I promise the material is amply worth your time.
