Wilma – The One and Only Pond… The Pond!

Alright, community, time to buckle up and show up! The Pond is the only queer café and bookstore in Copenhagen, and it needs your support! Every café needs community support, and so if I may; choose The Pond when you want a cup of coffee or a fizzy drink. And better still; you can buy books in all the colors of the rainbow! So... Looking for a gift? Go to the Pond! Want a quiet space? Go the Pond :)! It’s in the heart of Nørrebro! SPREAD THE WORD, PLEASE AND THANK YOU 3 Alright, next up; today we’re speaking to one of the owners of The Pond; Wilma. Wilma has, somehow, managed to live several lives being just 26 years old, including working within dancing, as a drag artist, a cartoon artist, a book reviewer, and much more. They kindly share who they are “behind the counter”, and what dreams and ideas have formed them and their gender identity. Queering gender comes with obstacles, but seemingly, Wilma gives very few f*cks after all. You’ll probably feel inspired to start your own queer business after this episode - and please do! Enjoy :) Art: And then the grey heaven, book by RE Katz. Order it at your local bookstore (!), for example… The Pond ;) https://www.thepondcph.com/ Nice to know: The Pond is publishing a end-of-year special, and it'll be full of goodies and inspiration! Follow them to stay tuned! And hear more about it in the episode ;) IG: the.pond.cph (https://www.instagram.com/the.pond.cph/) FB + events: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61566467615465 Website: https://www.thepondcph.com/ Contact: read@thepondcph.com Guest: Wilma, non-binary, he/they Host: Adam Goslett, trans man, he/him Music: timhouse, what

(EN) Aube - Two weird women and a baby

In this episode we hear from Aube, who’s a French scholar living in Denmark. Aube brilliantly shares heartwarming and deeply personal experiences whilst drizzling the episode with thorough theory and research. As such, both your heart and mind will be put at work in the best possible way. This episode is a nod of gratitude to our deepest calling – daring to notice and follow it, even when it takes us through fear and unknown territory.
