Not at power or riches, but at love wrapped in swaddling clothes. Thank You for coming to us so humbly, for choosing a manger instead of a throne, a baby’s cry instead of a trumpet blast, to show us that Your love is not distant, not demanding, but near, tender, and full of mercy.  Jesus, precious Child of Bethlehem, You are God’s “yes” to a weary world. In You, heaven leaned down and kissed the earth. You came not to condemn, but to heal; not to overpower, but to hold; not to frighten us, but to save. When we feel forgotten, remind us that You were born among the poor. When we feel afraid, remind us that You came as a child. When our hearts are heavy, remind us that Your love was strong enough to enter our brokenness and fill it with light.  Tonight we place our hopes beside the manger, hopes for peace, for healing, for forgiveness, for families made whole, for joy that outlasts sorrow. Let the love that began in Bethlehem be born again in us. Teach us to love as You love, with open hands, brave hearts, and gentle spirits. Let Your light shine through our words, our kindness, our forgiveness, so that others may see You and feel hope rise again.  Thank You, God, for the gift of Jesus. Thank You for love made visible. Thank You for a Savior who came close and never left. May this Christmas fill our eyes with tears of joy, our hearts with peace, and our lives with hope that will not fade. Amen.     "Send us your prayer intentions" In today's episode of "Jesus, You Take Over!", I will be speaking about Our Lady of Fatima. Our Lady of Fatima refers to the apparitions of the Virgin Mary to three shepherd children: Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta in Fatima, Portugal, in 1917. Before these Marian apparitions, the children experienced visits from the Angel of Peace in 1916. The angel urged them to pray, make sacrifices for the conversion of sinners, and work for peace in the world. The angel also taught them specific prayers, including the famous "My God, I believe, I adore, I hope, and I love You." The Virgin Mary’s messages during the apparitions emphasized prayer, penance, and peace. She urged the faithful to pray the Rosary daily, offer sacrifices for sinners, and devote themselves to her Immaculate Heart. The apparitions also included prophetic warnings about war, suffering, and the conversion of sinners. The most famous event was the Miracle of the Sun on October 13, 1917, witnessed by tens of thousands, where the sun seemed to dance in the sky. The message of Fatima continues to inspire faith, repentance, and trust in God’s mercy, serving as a powerful call to spiritual devotion and peace in the world.     "Send us your prayer intentions" In this episode of "Jesus, You Take Over!", i will be speaking about The Flame of Love Devotion. The Flame of Love is a Catholic devotion inspired by the spiritual diary of Elizabeth Kindelmann, a Hungarian mystic who reported receiving messages from Jesus and the Blessed Virgin Mary between 1961–1982. Though not required by the Church, the devotion is permitted and encourages deeper prayer, repentance, and intercession, especially for the Holy Souls in Purgatory. At the heart of the devotion is Mary's “Flame of Love,” described as a special grace meant to blind Satan, strengthen the faithful, open hearts to God, and help free souls from sin and purification. Followers of this devotion often add the phrase “Spread the effect of grace of Thy Flame of Love over all humanity” to the Hail Mary, praying for greater outpourings of grace. Jesus told Elizabeth, “A great battle awaits you, but you will conquer in the sign of the Cross. Do not be distracted when you make the sign of the Cross. Think about the three Divine Persons. Make public all that I tell you now: Make the sign of the Cross five times, while thinking of my Sacred Wounds. The Devotion to the Shoulder Wound of Jesus Christ honours the hidden wound Christ suffered from carrying the Cross. Tradition says He revealed to St. Bernard of Clairvaux that this was His most painful, unrecorded wound. The devotion expresses love, reparation, and a desire to share in Christ’s suffering. The Prayer to the Shoulder Wound of Christ Most loving Jesus, meek Lamb of God, I, a miserable sinner, salute and worship the most sacred Wound of Thy Shoulder on which Thou didst bear Thy heavy Cross, which so tore Thy flesh and laid bare Thy bones as to inflict on Thee an anguish greater than any other wound of Thy most blessed Body. I adore Thee, O Jesus most sorrowful; I praise and glorify Thee and give Thee thanks for this most sacred and painful Wound, beseeching Thee by that exceeding pain and by the crushing burden of Thy heavy Cross to be merciful to me, a sinner; to forgive me all my mortal and venial sins; and to lead me on toward Heaven along the Way of Thy Cross. Amen. Pope Eugenius III, at the earnest request of St. Bernard, has granted three thousand years Indulgence to all who with a contrite heart, recite the Lord's Prayer and Hail Mary 3 times, in honour of the Wound on the Shoulder of Our Blessed Redeemer. The 9 Promises of the Holy Wound of the Shoulder of our Blessed Saviour Jesus Christ...as given to a French Mystic and Visionary, Marie-Julie Jahenny, for those who honour devotion to the Sacred Wound of the Shoulder: 1.  “I will bless all the souls who propagate this devotion: I grant them abundant graces.”  2.  “O souls who love Me, who propagate this devotion, I take you under My protection; I keep you under the mantle of My affection.”  3.  “I will dispel the darkness that will come to their heart.”  4.  “I will console them in their pains. I will come in the midst of their greatest afflictions… to enlighten, to comfort them.”  5.  “I will come to bless them in their undertakings.”  6.  “I will give them a tender love for the Cross. I will come to assist them at the time of death with this Cross and I will introduce them into My Heavenly Kingdom.”  7.  “I will sweeten their agony… I will come at the hour of death. I will console them in their passage… Especially at the hour of death, I will come to give them a sweet moment of calm and tranquillity. I will tell them, O good Holy Soul, who has spread this devotion… come to receive the reward of your labours… the fruit of blessing.”  8.  “I will shelter them, I will assist them, I will console all the souls that seek to propagate this Sacred Wound. At the time of death, I will console the souls that have compensated me by their devotion and compassion to the Wound so deep and painful. I will come to strengthen them in their final fears. I will come and prepare their passage… Thank you, you who have compensated Me for My pains.”  9.  “See,” Jesus said, pointing to His Sacred Wound with extreme tenderness, “all My children who have recognized this Wound, who have venerated it, have prayed to it, will have on the Last Day a great and generous reward. I do not simply show it, I pronounce it. My Word is Divine.”  These promises confirm the importance of meditating upon Christ’s Shoulder Wound and spreading devotion to it.  Thank you, listeners.
