Six Titles Changed Hands and WWE Still Blew the Reset

The week of September 15 gave us TripleMania, RAW in Mexico, and six championships changing hands across WWE and AAA. We run through every switch, then get to the argument: with the whole card turning over, why did Roman Reigns walk out of Mexico still holding the belt? What we cover: Sami Zayn beats CM Punk for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Shock factor, why it works better this time, and the Clash of Champions angle that may explain it. Stephanie Vaquer wins the title in Chile, in her hometown, with Becky Lynch as referee. Why she earned this run, and the hope Naomi gets the same treatment when she returns. El Grande Americano finishes the story against Dominik Mysterio with help from Rey. Ludwig Kaiser took a demotion and turned it into gold. Omos as AAA's Andre the Giant, and why AAA under WWE is the best product on the roster right now. Chad Gable defends the Intercontinental title and gets his flowers from a Mexico crowd that sounds like a soccer stadium. The comic book reset theory: Secret Wars, Infinite Crisis, the New 52, and why a seven-title sweep in Mexico would have been the moment of the year. Roman Reigns versus Penta. Great match, wrong ending, and the missed 946 interference that would have written the next three months. Weekend grade: four out of five. Coming up: Worlds Collide September 26 in Chicago, Money in the Bank October 10 in Louisiana, Crown Jewel November 7 in Saudi Arabia, and Wrestlepalooza moved to December 12 in Perth. Back in ten days to talk Worlds Collide.

Shield 2.0? The OTM Ambush, Je'Von Evans Deserves Better, and the Survivor Series Time Machine

Raw never made it to a finish this week, and that is exactly why we came in hot. Royce Keys shows up with the OTM, levels the Usos, LA Knight, and Solo Sikoa, and the internet immediately crowns them Shield 2.0. We break down why that comparison falls apart, and why the surprise factor coming back matters more than any debut since 2012. Also on the table: Penta and Rey Fenix collide for the right to face Roman Reigns in Mexico City, the women's title picture keeps getting rescued by injuries and circumstance, and WWE has no idea what it has in Je'Von Evans, because feeding him to Big Cass makes sense to nobody. Solo Sikoa gets his flowers for the reinvention of the year, and we play the Zilla Fatu landing-spot game. Then the time machine: our Survivor Series retro segment runs through the greatest teams ever assembled, and a real argument breaks out. The Hulkamaniacs or Team Guerrero, who wins? Drop your pick and your favorite Survivor Series moment in the comments. 0:00 Raw goes to Mexico and Penta vs Rey Fenix 2:35 The women's division and the Liv Morgan question 5:09 Je'Von Evans deserves better than this 8:21 The OTM ambush and the Shield 2.0 debate 12:19 Where does Zilla Fatu land 14:08 Too many premium live events and the Saturday Night's Main Event problem 23:33 Survivor Series time machine: greatest teams and the big debate Next week: Money in the Bank talk and the road to Sunday Night's Main Event.

    Summerslam 2026 Aftermath

Two nights, twelve matches, and the clearest passing of the torch WWE has delivered in years. Joe and Jose run the full card of SummerSlam 2026 from Minneapolis and hand out their verdicts. Brock Lesnar leaves the business the way wrestlers used to leave it: a hug, a mic he never touches, and five words that crown Oba Femi. CM Punk walks out still champion after Randy Orton turns on Cody Rhodes, and Jose is not buying the creative. Liv Morgan and IYO SKY steal night one. Nick Aldis debuts at 39 and holds his own against Gunther. Solo Sikoa is somehow the funniest man in the company. LA Knight points at the Tribal Chief. Chad Gable finally gets his moment ten years in, and Jose gets emotional about what atoning for the Grande Americano run really meant. Chelsea Green wins gold six weeks after heart surgery, Kevin Owens returns on a rebuilt neck, and the guys get real about what these bodies pay for our entertainment. Then the big one: Roman Reigns beats Seth Rollins clean, holds the chair from 2014, and puts it down. The Shield gets its ending. Plus: is WWE burying Bron Breakker, Trick Williams, and Dominik Mysterio while it celebrates its future? 0:00 Cold open 1:10 Brock Lesnar passes the torch to Oba Femi 5:00 What is next for Oba, and the Bron Breakker problem 9:35 Punk retains, Orton turns on Cody 11:20 Liv Morgan vs IYO SKY 12:20 Gunther vs Nick Aldis 14:00 The Bloodline six-man and Solo Sikoa, comedian 15:45 LA Knight calls out Roman 17:45 The Bellas, Paige, and the betrayal everyone saw coming 18:55 Chad Gable wins the Intercontinental Championship 22:50 Trick Williams loses to Baron Corbin, and why 24:40 Chelsea Green, interim champion 26:00 Kevin Owens returns, and the bumps are real 28:35 What is WWE doing to Dominik Mysterio 31:05 Roman, Rollins, and the end of The Shield 33:25 Biggest winners of the weekend Tell us your biggest winner and biggest loser in the comments. Next episode: our favorite SummerSlam moments of all time.
