    NOAH’S ARK FOUND?! ATHEISTS ANGRY!

In Episode 122 of The Daily Carry Podcast, we tackle a wide range of controversial stories and cultural issues, from the reported discovery of Noah’s Ark and the reaction from atheists, to high-profile cases involving parents accused of murdering their children and the questions those cases raise about how men and women are treated differently in the mainstream cultural conversation. We discuss the Lindsay Clancy trial, examine a case involving a father convicted of murdering his children and sentenced to death following a brief jury deliberation, and explore the broader debate surrounding justice, accountability, and perceived double standards. We also break down several racially charged street fights, discuss another violent criminal being released on probation, and examine comments from Abdul El-Sayed comparing circumcision with transgender medical procedures. And after all the controversy, we bring the conversation back to what ultimately matters most: the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We explain the Gospel in just five words, followed by a closing prayer. “Retooling” Prayer: We Experienced It - We Need to Talk About Colorado’s Governor Race | Part 2

After 11 interviews with 6 different candidates for Governor of Colorado, we had a lot more to unpack. In Part 2 of Episode 120 of The Daily Carry Podcast, we go much deeper into one of the most controversial topics surrounding Victor Marx: what has been called the “retooling prayer.” But this time, we’re not talking about something we heard about from a distance. We experienced it firsthand. We talk about what happened, what we were told, what we observed, and how that experience shaped our understanding of the practice and the controversy surrounding it. Victor Marx has publicly described the retooling prayer as a specific form of prayer intended to address what he calls spiritual “assignments” and oppression. Others who have experienced the practice have described their experiences very differently, some positive, some negative, some indifferent.  So what actually happened? What did we experience? And how does that experience affect the questions we’re asking about Victor Marx as a candidate for Governor of Colorado? From there, we continue the conversation we started in Part 1. We go deeper into the Republican infighting. We revisit Victor Marx, Greg Lopez, and Phil Weiser. We talk about the questions surrounding character, leadership, faith, political movements, and the growing divisions within people who share many of the same conservative values. And we come back to one of the biggest themes from Part 1: What happens when political movements, personalities, and even Christian identity become so intertwined that people begin confusing loyalty to a person or movement with loyalty to Christ? This isn't a conversation about rumors. It isn't based on things we simply saw online. We're talking about what we personally experienced, what we personally observed, and the questions that experience raised for us. And ultimately, we're reminded again that our allegiance cannot belong to a politician, a political party, a movement, or a personality. For Christians, our allegiance belongs to Jesus Christ. As always, we end with prayer. 2 Corinthians 11:3 (KJV) "But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve though his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ." 🎙️ The Daily Carry Podcast,  Episode 120, Part 2

We Need to Talk About Colorado's Governor Race

We’ve now done 11 different interviews with 6 different candidates for Governor of Colorado. After sitting across the table from these candidates, asking the questions, and spending significant time with some of them, we’ve learned a lot. So where does the Colorado Governor’s race REALLY stand? In Part 1 of Episode 120 of The Daily Carry Podcast, we give our firsthand account and honest take on what we’ve seen so far. Is the real battle Victor Marx vs. Phil Weiser? Or is it becoming Victor Marx vs. Greg Lopez? And could the fight that ultimately costs Colorado happen before the general election even begins? We talk about the growing infighting among Republicans and people who share conservative values, the controversy surrounding Victor Marx and how much weight we believe it actually carries, and what we’ve personally experienced after spending considerable time around both Victor Marx and Greg Lopez. No rumors from a distance. No pretending we know what we don’t know. We’re talking about what we’ve actually seen, heard, and experienced firsthand. We also ask a bigger question: Was Charlie Kirk a uniting force, the glue helping hold the Republican Party and conservative movement together? Our country is divided over seemingly everything, and that division certainly isn’t new. Political figures can rally people around a cause, but no politician, personality, party, or movement can be the ultimate source of unity. For Christians, that place belongs to Jesus Christ. We end Episode 120 Part 1 with prayer and a reminder to guard our minds, our hearts, and our devotion to Christ in a world constantly fighting for our attention and allegiance. 2 Corinthians 11:3 (KJV) “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.” The Daily Carry Podcast - Episode 120, Part 1 #TheDailyCarry #ColoradoPolitics #ColoradoGovernor #VictorMarx #GregLopez #PhilWeiser #Colorado #Politics #Conservative #Republican #CharlieKirk #JesusChrist

LINDSAY CLANCY, CHARLIE KIRK & 911 CONNECTED?! The Same Evil Behind It All

What do Lindsay Clancy, Constance Fisher, Susan Smith, James Holmes, 9/11, and the martyrdom of Charlie Kirk have in common? Evil is evil. In Episode 119 of The Daily Carry Podcast, we take a hard look at the darkness behind some of the most disturbing acts of violence, loss, and destruction, and ask whether we’re willing to confront the deeper spiritual reality underneath them. Jesus said that the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. Different circumstances. Different people. Different tragedies. But the same enemy of human life. At the heart of the conversation is a fundamental question: Is human life inherently valuable? That should be a premise upon which we can all agree. Yet when the lie takes root that some human lives are disposable, conditional, or less valuable than others, the foundation beneath everything else begins to crumble. If life has no inherent value, then where do we draw the line? Who gets to decide? And what ultimately gives human life its worth? We talk about abortion, violence, morality, the dignity of human life, and the consequences of removing God from the equation. With God, everything matters. Without Him, nothing matters. This is not an episode about pretending every tragedy is identical. It is an invitation to look deeper, to recognize evil for what it is, to defend the value of human life, and to return to the truth that every person bears the image of God. And, as always, we close the episode in prayer. “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” - John 10:10

The World Doesn’t Have Enough Millstones…

Teen takeovers in Aurora. Stabbings in Times Square. A man charged of planning five mass shootings released from jail. Children in danger. Policies that appear to treat the lives and innocence of children as expendable. And a society struggling to reckon with the consequences. In Episode 118 of The Daily Carry Podcast, we go straight into the darkness, and the responsibility to confront it. We discuss the growing threats facing children, efforts to rescue and protect them, and the heartbreaking story of Thomas Gentile, a friend of the show who recently gave his life saving kids. We honor his courage and remember the sacrifice of a man who chose to stand between children and danger. We also examine the disturbing societal and political questions surrounding the protection of children, from the killing of unborn babies, to the sexual abuse and rape of children, to the seemingly inadequate consequences that can follow those who harm them. We connect those issues to the broader cultural conversation surrounding the Lindsey Clancy case and ask a difficult question: What happens to a society when we stop protecting the most vulnerable among us? Then we travel to Israel through the story of one man's unforgettable experience seeing a real millstone for the first time, and suddenly the words of Jesus about offending “little ones” paint a real picture of immense consequence. Maybe it really is time to start a millstone factory in this county. As always, we don't end in despair. We end in prayer. “But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” -Matthew 18:6 (KJV) Stay Strong, Stay Strapped, and don't forget, Jesus is coming back!
