The Doctor has lost his memory. But how? And why? With the help of Izzy, a Parisian from 1790, they embark on a journey to uncover the mystery behind the Doctor's amnesia. Along the way, they hope to discover what led to his memory being taken in the first place. During their adventures, they notice a recurring phenomenon: a blue light. What is this blue light? But, before he can begin to make sense of it all, The Tardis is stolen, leaving him and Izzy stranded in a place called Knaresborough, North Yorkshire in the year 2015. Local police are investigating the disappearances of three people who entered the caves of the 16th century, mysterious prophet; Mother Shipton. When The Doctor and Izzy get involved in these investigations, they realise; the disappearances aren't completely as they seem. What happened to the missing people? Are they still inside the caves? But when they press one too many controls, the Tardis is sent hurtling to the outer-reaches of the universe and eventually stops, broken and decrepit in a place where even light hasn’t ventured yet. A place where nothing exists. The Doctor and Izzy need to get out of here before the Tardis freezes with them inside! They have two and a half hours to live. How do the doctor and Izzy get out of this situation? How do they fix the Tardis? And how do they stop the Nothingness from consuming them?
