But the questions will change the way you see everything.

    Earth, The Privileged Planet

Is Earth just one of billions of planets… or was it placed here with purpose? In this episode of Crossroads: Creation and the Cosmos, we explore the Rare Earth Hypothesis and the growing evidence that our planet may be far more unique than we’ve been led to believe. From the Goldilocks Zone to our unusually large moon, from Jupiter’s protective presence to the breathtaking precision of solar eclipses, everything about Earth seems finely tuned for both life and discovery. But is it all just coincidence? Or does it point to something greater? Join us as we examine the idea of Earth as a “Privileged Planet," a world not only designed for life, but positioned to understand the universe itself. Along the way, we ask one of the biggest questions at the intersection of science and faith: Is this all by chance… or by design?

    What Really Happened in Eden?

In this episode, we go beyond the Sunday school story to ask: what really took place in the Garden of Eden? Was it a literal garden or a cosmic battleground between divine and human destiny? Alec explores the serpent’s true identity, the meaning behind the Tree of Knowledge, and the possibility that Eden was more than just a paradise lost...it was ground zero for humanity’s spiritual awakening and rebellion. Through theology, ancient myth, and science, we unpack what “the Fall” might have actually been, and why its ripple effects still shape our world today.

    Time Before Time

Imagine a world where time itself had a beginning… but God didn’t. In this episode, we step into the mystery of eternity: Does God exist within time, or outside of it entirely? From the ticking of atomic clocks to the strange truths of quantum physics and relativity, we explore what the Bible means when it says “a day is like a thousand years” to God (2 Peter 3:8). Is time just a created dimension—and if so, what does that say about God’s nature, our future, and eternity itself?

    The Language of Creation

"Let there be light." Was that a literal moment in time — or a poetic way to describe divine power? In this episode, we explore the mysterious force of words in the Genesis creation account. Did God speak the universe into being? Was that speech symbolic, or something far more real? And what does it mean that we, too, use words to shape the world around us?

    Designed or Evolved?

Are we the product of random mutation—or intentional creation? In this episode, we wrestle with the age-old question at the heart of science and faith: Did we evolve, or were we designed? From the complexities of DNA to the elegance of the human mind, we explore what biology, philosophy, and Scripture each have to say. Is natural selection enough to explain consciousness, creativity, and morality? Or is there a deeper fingerprint behind our design? This isn’t just about where we came from—it’s about what we’re here for.

    What Came Before Genesis?

Was Genesis the beginning... or a reboot? In this episode of Crossroads: Creation and the Cosmos, Alec dives into one of the Bible’s most provocative mysteries — the possibility of a world that existed before Genesis 1:2. Could there have been a pre-Adamic civilization? Was the Earth once “formless and void” because of divine judgment? We’ll explore the gap theory, ancient cosmologies, and even fringe ideas like Lucifer’s fall and its cosmic aftermath. With insights from Scripture, science, and thinkers like Graham Hancock, this episode challenges the traditional timeline and opens the door to a deeper understanding of our planet’s ancient past.

The Age of the Earth - Billions or Thousands?

How old is the Earth, really? Science tells us it’s billions of years old. Scripture suggests only thousands. In this first episode of Crossroads: Creation and the Cosmos, Alec explores the tension between radiometric dating, biblical genealogies, and the meaning of time itself. Could both science and Scripture be telling the truth — in different ways? What if the age of the Earth isn’t the most important question… but the lens through which we’re asking it?
